Today, I took my vehicle to a different, reputable brake shop, only to discover a shocking truth: this place completely ripped me off. They only changed ONE rotor and TWO brake pads, yet they charged me for the entire job. They took my money and left my vehicle incomplete and unsafe. This is blatant consumer fraud. To make matters worse, their basic mechanical competence is non-existent. When I asked them to do a standard coolant flush, the technician didn't even know how to do it. They literally had to pull up a YouTube / "technician video" to figure it out, and they still managed to do it wrong. I had to personally step in and point out a critical step they completely missed. If they can't even follow a basic instructional video and willfully cheat you on major safety components like brakes, they have no business working on cars. Save your money, your time, and your safety--go anywhere else. Consider yourselves warned.

However, when I was contacted with the total, the price was significantly higher than a standard oil change. I requested a copy of the invoice and was then informed I would be charged $50 to replace the studs and lug nuts -- despite this being damage caused during my previous visit. I was told the charge was due to the tires being removed for brake work. That explanation is incorrect. I replaced the brakes and rotors prior to your team performing front-end work on my Jeep in 2024, and the tires have not been removed since the last rotation. I even provided documentation to confirm this. Because of this experience, I will not be returning for any future service. A mistake was made, and instead of taking responsibility, I was asked to pay for repairs that resulted from your shop's error. Even though it had been about five years, it still had my truck info to draw on, and I was able to quickly pick what I wanted and set up the appointment. The morning of my appointment, I received a phone call confirming, and was asked vehicle/colour info. When I pulled up Joshua was walking across the lot, obviously waiting for me. He checked out my tires and confirmed the work to be done. I had forgotten to ask about checking my spare. When I asked, he looked up under the truck, confirmed it needed attention as well, and picked which current tire mounted would be best to replace the spare, based on condition and age. Went to lunch, got a notification when the truck was ready, all in all, took about an hour. When I went to pick it up, they were notably busier, but I still saw their people walking around the lot giving other customers personal attention and advice. As I walked-in a gentleman seemed to be closing the books for the day and looked like the only person around. He greeted me and I apologized for being "that guy" and explained my situation.
