One of my tires kept losing tire pressure, so I brought it here. These are the only guys I trust. Christian went above and beyond, he explained to me the predicament. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to go to the dealership. However, I highly recommend this Discount Tire. They roll out the red carpet for you! Incidentally, they are having a Fourth of July sale like you would not believe so if you wanted to get new tires or rims now is the time. read more

Great customer service but be prepared to wait 2+ hours before they even touch your car. What is the point of making an appointment if you still have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for just one tire change. read more

I came in around 4:30 and they were extremely busy. Yes it was almost two hours, but there was no doubt they were hustling. I saw workers running from the garage to turn around vehicles. They communicated the wait and were doing their absolute best, especially in the heat! From the time I walked in to the time I left the customer service was amazing! read more

Made an appointment. 2 freaking hours to change a tire and do alignment. That's insane Louetta is much better !!! read more

These gentlemen are so nice! Bryan has been helping me today and honestly, it's so refreshing to have good customer service! I just wanted to highlight him and hope you guys are able to incentivize him. I definitely saved some money today. You honestly can't beat the tire insurance! I almost went to Costco but decided Discount Tire has always been good to me so why mess up a good thing now? :) read more

They just try to sell you tires. Let's face it, that's their business! However, the staff is helpful & friendly.

If I could put 0 stars I would. This place is a scam. I went in after a long day of work because I noticed the air on my tire was going down after I had just put air in it a couple days ago. It did not go down rapidly so I knew it had to be a nail. The guy helping me out went out to "look" at the tires, keep in mind it was drizzling. Shortly came back and said he didn't see any nails and I needed new tires because it was dangerous for me to even be driving my vehicle with my tires like that. I informed him it was very odd because they didn't even remove the tire as they have in the past to inspect it thoroughly and confirm it really did not have a nail. He tried to play me for a fool and just sell me new tires. I made up a lie and said I would have my boyfriend take care of it to be polite but I wanted to run out of that place! Went to another shop who actually took the tire off and confirmed there was in fact a screw! DO NOT TRUST this place!!!! read more

Very helpful when it came down to getting the right tires for my truck, but very bad at installing the caps to my rims. The manger called me after I put how my experience went with discount, and pretty much called me a liar. He claimed that he personally put on my caps, and I told him when I got home one was missing. He also told me maybe I should recheck his work after I leave discount. Why should I pay almost $2,000 dollars at this company and still have to recheck someone else's work. The manager at that. Instead of helping me get a new one he kept telling me how tight he tightened the cap and pretty much it was my fault. I will never do business with this company again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. read more

I had to drive back to my employer, Aggieland Green, as I'd forgotten my wallet and upon leaving noticed my front tire was low on air so I added some drove off and minutes into the drive "BOOM!" car swerving, life flashing before me. YOU GET IT! Not sure who to call I knew that Discount Tires was a short distance so I called and spoke with "Bryan" who verbalized real concern, empathy and to the point professionalism in rectifying my dilemma. He defined the process very well and the monetary and organization went phenomenal! I waited approximately an hour when my service rep "Terry Waugen" arrived with the Frankenstein Mobile Van that to say blew me away would be an understatement! Terry explained everything he did in his services, embellishing the reputation and exemplary customer service he's been blessed to be a part of for 18 Years! Great guy, very engaging, consumate professional knowledgeable to a fault yet the one person ypu know knew he was definitely an expert and had pride in his performance and it showed! I'm looking into Fleet Services for our company as well as doing future work on my personal vehicle in the future! I highly recommend Discount Tires for true old school service! read more

I purchased a rim for my 2019 Jetta & was sold the wrong size rim. The owner/general manager refused to acknowlege a mistake was made & refused to exchange rim for correct rim. I feel my hard earned money was stolen from me. read more

Came for a set of new tires for my Tesla Model Y Performance. I take really good care of my rims and definitely in the top 1% of tesla owners that have minimal curb-rash. Unfortunately, technician scratched 2 of my uberturbine rims. Manager was very quick and professional to address concern and offer resolution. Manager Mickey and Cody did gain my satisfaction. One thing to note would be to take more time in training the technicians on being more careful when removing/mounting tires to rims (especially for Tesla vehicles as their rims are very delicate). First impression: Hangkook ion AS SUV tires are very smooth, comfortable, and quiet. Would recommend for Tesla owners out there. read more

These guys were super sweet and so helpful. Came in for at least two new tires and ended up going for all 4. I even left spending less money than I expected!! An extra special thanks to Adam for being able to squeeze me even with a full list of appointments. I really appreciate the honesty, customer service and care these guys have. Lastly, I want to thank everyone for excellent service!! read more

Very poor customer service. I bought 4 tires for my car and they were more than happy to assist when I was paying $1,000 for service. Fast forward to now and I just need air in my tire. They took 15 mins to come out and assist me while I was sitting in the air check line with nobody to n front of or behind me waiting. I had to call the store to even get assistance. Unless you're spending money they don't care about you. Do yourself a favor and go to another tire shop where they value your business whether you're getting free service or paying a nice chunk! read more

Great service with no pressure. I was greeted right away, which to me is excellent customer service. I don't mind waiting, if I am welcomed and made to feel my visit is important to the company. Product was in stock and a rebate was offered to for the tires I purchased. They didn't have to mention the rebate. I will definitely be using this location again read more

I went to ask for a price for balancing my tires before I drive to Colorado and even though I didn't buy these particular tires from them (I've been a long time customer though, and this was a new used car) they offered to do it for FREE. When inspecting they noticed a crack in 2 of the rims (they provided pictures) and offered me a small discount to buy them so I can safely get to Colorado, without worry. ANYTIME I've ever done business with a DT in any city or state, customer service has always been #1!! ALWAYS!! read more

I went here to get air in my tires after my tire pressure light came on. I pulled up to the designated entrance to wait for an employee and nobody came. I sat there for 20 minutes while all the employees in the garage just stood around talking to each other. Even when they would look my way, nobody helped. I tried to get someone's attention and they said someone would be right with me but that didn't happen. I ended up just leaving because it was clear they weren't going to help. This wasn't my first bad experience with them but it was my last as I won't be returning to this location again. read more

y'all don't know what y'all are doing. first: didn't put my valve stem covers back on second: 3 hour wait, didn't even fix tire. third: THIS BALANCING JOB WHAT A JOKE took it to my dad and fixed the "unfixable" hole and mounted in less than 20 MINUTES. PLEASE employ people who have basic knowledge of balancing tires, even i could've done a better job. glad i didn't spend any money, but lost 3 hours pay from work. thanks, NOT! read more

I only needed air in 1 tire it wasn't even time for them to close yet there was still 3minutes left instead he told me they were closed and when I said I only need air put in 1 tire so it doesn't go flat then he said there's always gas stations to go to. I told him I don't know how to put air in my tire myself and he said oh well. I have purchased 6 tires at discount tire so I did not deserve that horrible customer service I will never come to this location. Evidently this location is filled with people who hate their job and are only here for the money. read more

Amazing place!!! I will never ever visit this place again, and if you value your safety.. I'd advise you don't either. I visited the discount tire for the very first time yesterday afternoon after running over a nail. I took my car in, showed the guys exactly where the nail was and all. They told me that the nail would be removed and plugged for the time being. I have a warranty on all 4 tires elsewhere so I had intended to go today to get the one replaced. This MORNING when I walked out of my house my car was sitting 100% on its rim. I have never seen it in such bad shape. I have had tires plugged in the past. Though it is a temporary fix, it is intended to last longer than a few hours. I am bewildered by the amount of danger these men actually put me in, a very dangerous mistake indeed. read more

Discount Tire - Getting tires for summer - Tires Near Me - Houston, Texas

Oh discount tire how have I not reviewed you sooner, this place is amazing the staff is always friendly helping you find the right tire. I have always brought my vehicles here whenever I needed new tires and most of the time they have my tire I only say most of the time due to me having an odd size and the companies usually stop making mine after a few years but none the less they always find me one comparable or order me a tire from a manufacturer and usually gets there then next day or so. I have enjoyed every single one of my trips here always air up my tires make sure they are good to go and I can't complain so visit the 1960 Willowbrook location to get your tires !! You won't regret it. read more

This is my second time coming here and the guys are all nice and knowledgeable. They do their best to be quick and make the wait comfortable. Last time I was here, I needed to get one tire replaced and now I need the other three done. I'll definitely continue to come to this location whenever I need anything. read more

I always have an amazing experience at every Discount Tire I use. Today I rolled up and within 30 seconds an associate named Ernest was helping me. I told him I had a slow leek in my tire and that it should be covered under their warranty program (if you don't know what this is you're living your life wrong). He assessed the problem and let me know that it was easily fixable. He didn't try to sell me a new tire or get me any useless gadget, but instead let me know that my tires are in great condition. Today I'm leaving with a fixed car for free. Im a very happy customer, and without a doubt I will buy tires from DT again. read more

I came to get air on my tire & was told my tire didn't have enough air to put air on it??? Make that make sense!! That's the whole point of me coming??? This is the worst discount tire in Houston. Micky the manager at this location is the worst manager I've encountered. He doesn't care about customers, doesn't follow up, doesn't know how to manage a situation that they messed up on. I would never come back to this store again. Micky has been wasting my time for about 2 months and a half. They scratch my wheel and didn't want to own up to it. I would give this location 0 stars I f could and I hope nobody makes the mistake in giving them your business. read more

Ok, as you already know, you can't go wrong with Discount Tire. They have the most affordable prices around. But, I'm not here to comment on that. The service here is impeccable. I know nothing about my car. Really, I keep it maintained and all; but tire tread and all of that is just beyond me. Ever since I got this car, though, i have had problems with the tires-- flats and just air pressure and all. So, dealing with that has always been a drag. That being said, Discount Tires took care of my worries. Everything was seamless from the moment I stepped up to the place. They listened to my concerns and handled everything in a prompt manner. I told them I had work in an hour and they were very courteous about it. Honestly, they make tire shopping easy and a breeze. read more

I've been driving my 2013 Volkswagen GTI with a nail in the rear passenger side tire for over 4,000 miles before the check tire pressure light came on. I was in the area and decided to pull into Discount Tire as I've always heard good things about the chain and this particular location had a stellar 5-star rating. The place seemed packed but I was greeted almost instantly. Not even 5 minutes later, Cliff had already taken down my vital information and my keys. I walked to the mall next door in the sweltering 106° heat and I barely even got to finish my food and Starbucks when I got a call back saying my car was ready. They patched my tire up, rotated the fronts and backs and sent me on my way. All for free. I now know that this is where I'll be purchasing my tires from now on! read more
