Really appreciate this, as I didn't want to have to worry about a tire blowing. My brothers took the BMW defensive driving course, but I didn't, because I got my license at 29. Oh well. Anyway, adjusted rating accordingly. Discount Tire got it done. They really are trustworthy and kind, even though someone in the warehouse fouled up. I brought my ancient Mercedes convertible in for an air check before going to Emissions. This is a summer car, and the furthest I've ever driven it is to Frederick. The tires look brand new, no visible tread wear at all. Rubber seems fine. But Josh checked them and said that since they're 10 years old, bad things could happen. So we ordered new tires and set an appointment for Saturday at 10. I arrived at 10:08, and Daniel checked me in. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. My car stayed where it was. Finally, at around 11:40, Cade comes and tells me that the warehouse sent the wrong tires. What?! And they're just finding out after I sat there for 1.5 hours?! I was very unhappy. I had errands and two more appointments. That's an hour and a half that I will never get back. Why didn't they check for the tires when I came in? And why did I wait an hour and a half when my appointment was at 10 am??? Cade said that this is their busy season. They have three 10 am appointments, three at 10:30, three at 11, etc. He said that he would try and have the tires sent over later that day, and would call me. This did not happen. It's Monday, and I do not think that have time to get tires. They'll have to wait until I return. Cade assured me that I would not have to wait at my next appointment, and my tires will be put on immediately, which is very nice, but I doubt that I can find the time today. I also wonder how he can do that, if they're scheduling three appointments every half hour, and it takes about an hour and a half for each car. (EDIT: it does not take that long to put on the tires. That includes waiting time.) The tires were crazy expensive because of the stupid effing tariffs. That just adds insult to injury. I have always liked Discount Tire, and have never gotten tires anywhere else, but this foul-up is unconscionable. I will say that Cade was very apologetic and is doing his best to make it right. I appreciate that, but I did waste time that I couldn't spare. They really should check for the tires when the customer arrives. Not over an hour later. I will update this review when I finally go back for the tires. They may have to hold them for a while. Saturday was Tire Day, today is other things. I hope that they don't accidentally sell them to someone else. I've already paid for them. I certainly hope that a tire doesn't blow, as Josh said it might. The spare is getting replaced too, as it is over 20 years old. Arrrrrggghhh. They did very nicely say that they would try to find a wheel for the spare, which is a full-size tire. I hope that they can. They found a tire to fit my wheel. That works. So now I have five new tires.

I pulled this place up on my maps, and saw they were open for 15 more minutes. As I pulled into the parking lot I was at 4 psi. I walked inside to Cleveland, standing behind the counter. I explained the situation and he was SO helpful. Quick to take action, knowing I had both my kids in the car, he went to the shop and ran out with the tools he needed to put my spare tire on for me. Not one word about how there were only 15 minutes left in his workday. I wouldn't have been able to get home without his help. THANK YOU! Highly recommended this place if you're looking for professional and kind service.

The razor blade was in the section of the tire that is not repairable - no surprise there - and since I drive an all-wheel vehicle, all four tires must match. This was not a shock or a surprise to me due to having done this only 18 months previously. While I was not planning to buy all new tires this year, Simon at Tires Plus was incredibly helpful, gave me a great discount/deal, and completed the replacement of all four tires in an hour or under which was amazing compared to waiting all day at the dealership for it to be done.

I was also having some issues with my brakes. I knew it was going to be an expensive trip to the tire shop and I wasn't wrong! My car must have been feeling like a Kardashian that day, because really who else spends a $1000 on shoes! But I did do a little bit of comparison shopping, and despite the large price tag, I feel like a got a really good deal. That $1000 got me four new tires, new brakes and pads, and rotors. For those of us who don't happen to have a $1000 sitting around at any given time, Peerless offers a really great easy financing plan with relatively low interest rates. Here's the best part: These guys gave me a ride to work from the shop, and then came and picked me up when the tire job was complete. It's about a 10-15 min ride each way. This is definitely not necessary, so I feel like they really went out of their way to make a happy customer out of me. I cannot recommend Peerless tires enough, they really take care of their customers!

She didn't realize the Stanley Hotel was here in Colorado so I took her and her old man up to see it. After that we went through Rocky Mountain National Park before heading back down to Southern Colorado. We stopped for food in Granby and caught a flat. Thought I had a spare bit the car had a donut. Crap. Well, it wasn't ideal but we were mobile again at least, if still 4-5 hours from home. Not half an hour later just past Tabernash, we hit a pothole that BENT THE RIM OF THE DONUT! Called for a tow and was going to Idaho springs to spend the night while he had someone coming to get them to take them back home. I started looking for tire places in Idaho Springs for tomorrow (it was Sunday and sun was going down so NO WAY would anything be open). Imagine my surprise when Pure Mobile Tire showed up as OPEN!!! I thought for sure it had to be wrong but took a chance and called anyway. Sure enough he was open. He asked what kind of tire I needed and I told him. He said he would check to see if he had one and call me back. He called me back a couple of minutes later and said he did! Wish I had called him instead of my insurance roadside assistance! The tow dropped is off in Idaho Springs and I called him again. He showed up 15 minutes later and got us back on the road not long after. $40 for the tire, and $100 for the service call... At almost 11 at night ON A SUNDAY!!! 3AM and we're back home safe after a very eventful day. If not for Pure Mobile Tire I would have been stuck in a hotel tonight while a friend drove for 10+ hours total round trip to pick up my folks and take them back home and get back home himself. Extremely reasonable, knew what he was doing, and quick! He took the tire (the original flat) off the wheel, mounted the replacement, took off the donut and put the real tire back on the car. 10/5 stars!

They allowed us time to decide if it was worth fixing and were creative about getting the costs to something more affordable but ultimately I agreed to have all but one item fixed. Their willingness to work with me on it really sealed the deal. I never felt pressured one way or the other and researched the prices of each repair item and they were market value. I really appreciated that I wasn't given grief for wanting to fix this old beauty instead of calling it quits and also appreciated their confidence in doing this amount of work to make it like new. Most importantly, the repairs were done right without gimmick and they're under warranty! This Christian Brothers Automotive is thorough and the final cost was reasonable compared to the quote (slight increase from what looks like parts being a tad more than anticipated). The initial inspection was awesome too, they have pictures for everything and tell you what's good, not just bad. The whole process was really smooth and simple compared to how big of a decision the repairs really were. Very professional and quick. I'm very thankful and will come back/recommend to others.

It's her livelihood, and their own repair order says they knew it. Over 29 visits in two years we paid them $12,519.39 at $175/hour, expecting professional service. From their own invoices: Transmission complaints patched, never fixed. She reported a clunk on shifting time and again and was told they couldn't replicate it. After her numerous complaints, in August 2025 they changed the transmission fluid, saying it was bad. Chevrolet's normal schedule doesn't call for that at all. It was a patch, not a diagnosis. Seven weeks later they pulled the transmission and wrote that the fluid they had just put in was "significantly degraded, suggesting potential damage." Twice in seven weeks they saw a fluid problem. They replaced only the torque converter and put the same transmission back in. It failed in August 2026; now they quote $14,440.98 to replace it. Engine underfilled. The engine takes 6 quarts. They billed 5 quarts on six visits, including the one where she came in with the oil light on and asked them to measure the oil. No measurement recorded, 5 quarts again. Additive the manufacturer says not to use. Chevrolet's manual says "Do not add anything to the oil." They added and charged for an oil additive on at least nine visits. Paid $90 to find a $124 repair, then told to pay $2,374.62. After a rear-end accident she paid $90 to diagnose a rear clunk. Their technician found one problem: "right side exhaust pipe hanger is damaged," something anyone could see in 5 minutes. GM's price for the hanger is $36.72. Even at $175/hour, a 15-30 minute install is $124.22 at most. They never priced it. They quoted a complete exhaust system for $2,374.62 instead. She declined, the hanger stayed broken, and three months later their own notes say the exhaust was "rattling against rear suspension." An independent mechanic confirmed it only ever needed the hanger. Colorado law makes it illegal for a repair shop to say repairs are necessary when they are not. Diagnostic fees that don't match the work. On her last visit they charged two "Level 1" diagnostic fees, $319.98, nearly two hours at their rate, for under an hour of work: a broken sway bar link and a transmission fluid sample. Our independent mechanic checked both in under 10 minutes each. The leaking shocks came from their free courtesy inspection; we never asked them to diagnose shocks. Prices all over the map. The same rear shock job was quoted six times, from $627 to $1,025. Parts jumped 79% in two months. Sold us their own warranty, then wouldn't stand behind it. They upsold us "Nice Difference Care+," run by Christian Brothers' own warranty company. When the transmission failed, it denied the claim and said any misdiagnosis "would need to be addressed directly with the shop." The shop is Christian Brothers. The warranty company is Christian Brothers. Each points at the other; nobody takes responsibility. Nobody answers. Calls to Christian Brothers corporate go unanswered. Dan West, who runs this location, never returned our voicemail. We were told they had videos of the transmission fluid; when we asked for them, we were ignored. We asked in writing for the complete service file with technician notes and photos and got a one-line summary. They were so busy upselling, they forgot they're in the customer service business. If your car is how you earn a living, get a second opinion before you authorize anything here, and ask for the technician's notes in writing.
