My Lamborghini's right rear tire was punctured by two nails and I was on my way to the strip club when I noticed the low air pressure so I stopped by at about 5:55 on Friday hoping to get it fixed as it was a steady leak and the manager Kyle was more than willing to get me taken care of and back on the road safely, the service was exceptional and even tho they were to close in 5 minutes they were unbelievably willing to get me taken care of and fix my tire free of cost to me and did so in an incredibly timely manner I believe I was only there for roughly 20 minutes, they put their fastest tire tech on the vehicle I believe his name was Jacob and he took care of and fix my tire in a very fast and efficient manner. Dropped off car for TPMS service. Rece I've a call 4 hrs or so saying it was ready. They replaced on of the sensors . I asked them if everything was good and was told that the low tire pressure light was off. They were pretty busy and my wife drove it home. When I got home, the light was still on and I can't get it to go off. Now I have to go back again and take care of it. Went to Discount Tires for the first time, and they've made a lifetime customer out of me today! After waiting inside a competitor's shop for 10 min without being assisted, I left for Discount Tires. It was 2:00 on a Saturday, so everyone is understandably busy. With 30 seconds of entering Discount Tires, they asked how they could help me. We discussed my desires (4 new tires), and he discussed my options. He showed the tire ratings on the computer, and helped make a recommendation. The price (all-inclusive) was the least expensive I've had in the 10 years (4th set of tires) of me owning this car - yet the quality was the best I've ever purchased. It was $400 cheaper than what the car-dealership tried to sell me (same quality). And Discount Tires comes with free tire rotations, and the longest tire warranty I've ever had! Within 90 min, my car was done. And, they conveniently texted me to let me know. The inside of the store was clean, the parking was easily accessible (lots of snow recently). I have reviewed this particular location once before but wanted to add another after my experience yesterday. I purchased a set of truck tires online at the DT website. I also set up a 9 AM install appointment. As requested, I arrived at 0845... about 0910 I was acknowledged and got into a cue line set up for COVID19. Finally, at 0930, my truck rolled into the bay. Based on the amount of bay guys and customers, I think they were a tad understaffed and overwhelmed with customers. I watched as they took off my old tires then I waited and waited and waited. Finally, the manager comes over and apologizes for the delay. Seems they can't find two of four tires I paid for so he offers to upgrade me to their premium Bridgestone tires at no additional cost! Sweet! In short order, I was out the door. When I got home, I looked up my new tires and they were $60 more EACH then what I had picked out leading to what I estimate at about a $300 loss for this store. How's that for customer service and professionalism?! The manager could have just said "sorry", ordered them and asked me to come back... maybe give me 10% off but, no, this guy goes way above and beyond! We always recommend this place as I'm treated right, professionally and in a friendly manner. We have six vehicles, a stock trailer, horse trailer and RV and I trust Discount every time. I came to Discount Tire to replace the front tires on my wife's car. Before getting right into selling me the tires, he asked to come out to check the tires. He confirmed the front tires were worn and needed replacement but when checking the rears he noticed the wrong size were installed when I bought them last year at this same store. Without even checking with the manager he offered to replace the rear tires free of charge. We now have a matched set of tires with the same mileage. Don't waste your time or money going here. They are a racket! I had to have my car towed there. While the mechanic was working on it, he kept jumping up and down, yanking on the driver door handle, trying to get it to open. I had already told the manager that that door had to be opened from the inside because it sticks. When they were done and I paid for it, I walked out to my car only to discover the door handle had been broken. I went back in to tell them and the assistant manager accused me of knowing the handle was broken before I brought my car in. I told him it wasn't and he kept arguing with me and calling me a liar. While they did fix it for free, they never apologized to me for accusing me of lying. They are a bunch of arrogant bastards and I will never step foot in there again! read more

I love this place! I just moved to Cedar Rapids in the last few months, and this place came recommended when looking to get my tire repaired. I was greeted by Matt who helped me out the first visit. Upon his first glance, he told me straight up that my tire is unsafe to drive on. It had been flat earlier that day, and was low for a while, so the tire wall diminished, even though they were new tires. Matt was very helpful in helping me understand what I needed. He called Michelin and got me a discount for a new tire, ordered them, and had me come back today to get it set up. Jon helped me today. Not at charismatic as Matt, but equally as friendly and approachable. He made sure to check the pressure of all my other tires as well before heading off. Overall, discount tires is the best service I've ever received. Feels like going to the spa for my car! Will never buy tires there again. Savings in $ not worth hassle and time. First off, sold me defective tires. Car pulled badly. They said it was "radial pull" and I had to live with it. Swapped 2 front tires to get it to drive straight. They failed to replace 3 out of 4 valve stems and put hubcaps on wrong (did not match valve stem slots, so the one proper length stem was being rubbed by metal.) Took it back. They put "shorty" valve stems on which cannot be accessed without removing hubcaps. Called about it and said bring it back. Went back only to be told they had to "special order" the valve stems. Went back again today for rotation and balance, they finally (this is 2 years now) put the correct valve stems on car. Sure I saved $70 dollars on the tires, but have spent WAY more in time and frustration dealing with this place. NEVER AGAIN. Will go to 5 Seasons, where they do the work right, and if something goes wrong, they take care of it right away. read more

This particular store came highly recommended. I have a 2013 SUV and this is my 3rd set of tires. Factory tires were shot within 20k-25k from living in the Denver CO metro area. The tires I replaced them with lasted another 25k is it and for for the past 10k I've been told they're getting real close to needing replacement. Because of Denver's constant construction my tires lose air from past nails and screws. I called this morning prior to heading out for a road trip, last minute of course. I just had new tires put on 3 months ago but on 1/31/2018 I rand something over that put a good size hole in my inside tire wall. I was losing air very fast and knew I would not make it to the next morning, so I drove straight to your store for help. I arrived at your store at 6:15 pm, but the shop had closed at 6:00 pm. However, there was a gentleman that asked if I needed assistance as I was walking back to my car. I explained to him what happened and the gentleman looked at my tire and could hear the air coming out of my tire and pulled my car into the shop right away. The tech explained to me that the whole in my tire was not repairable and I would need a new tire. However, my little MINI Cooper does not come with a spare tire nor did the shop have my exact tire size on hand. Make thing even more interesting since it was closing time and the last day of the month the corporate offices shut down all their computers so the shop had no way of looking me up, nor did I have any of my warranty paperwork on me from putting on new tires three months prior to this happening! Discount Tire came up with a solution to place a tire on that was closest to my tire size on my MINI until they could get a new one in. Discount Tire did not leave me stranded with a flat tire even when they could have just left for the day. I am extremely grateful for Discount Tire being there for me when I needed it the most! Purchased a trailer from here the day i needed it and was just getting around to getting it registered a week ago, i purchased this trailer in January. While sitting at the treasures office it was pointed out the title had been used before and whited out, i had to go back and adj for a duplicate from thiesens. In doing so i was told this was the third title being issued for this trailer and the manager Chad did i had used the white out on the title. I got the title com them today and sad again told i did it...i have a the original receipt of sale to this thing and haven't attempted to sell it as i need it. The title could've been verified as being replaced prior to my purchase by the vendor had the manager had any common sense, instead he chose to try and belittle me and accuse me of writing doing. I spent over a thousand dollars that day in 2 trips for atv gear and that trailer to be accused of lying. I am so impressed with this company. First off, I try to never shop anywhere with the word "discount" in the name. They have completely proven me wrong. I went in on 8/4 and got tires I was needing badly. Of course their job is to sell me something, but when I told them what I wanted and I was in a hurry, they actually gave me what I wanted and got me back on the road in no time! Flash forward to today. I was back in the CR area and low and behold I ran over something on the interstate and it ruined my less than one month old tire. I got the car into the store thinking I would have fight on hands to get them to stand behind the road hazard warranty I had purchased. Imagine my surprise when there wasn't a fight at all. And they took care of me extremely well and once again! Had me back on the road in a matter of moments. I will recommend these guys to anyone and they have gained a customer for life.
