Their service is non-existent & when I had a concern about my tire the other day, they just didn't seem to care. Wonderful place and competitive prices. My tire blew out on Thursday, I went in for a quote on Saturday and set-up an appointment for today. Setting up the appointment was easy, my husband and I stepped in close to closing but were promptly help out (great customer service)! Matt quickly found out what tires I needed, saw that they were in stock and created the appointment. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment to a small queue of customers and we were helped within five minutes of each other. Nathan set-up my invoice and claimed that my tire installation would be done within an hour of my 3:45 appointment. He even walked out to my car, inspected the tread and recorded my milage (standardized procedure as far as I know with tire maintenance). I waited onsite, no wi-fi but they had a restroom, coffee, water and comfortable seating. Nathan was non-stop with phone calls and helping customers (again, great and personable staff onsite). Around 4:30 another staff member called my name and joked that my car would be ready within 43 second (dry humor that I appreciated); just like that he backed my car out of the service stall, turned it on and with one last walk around my vehicle, I was set to take off! When I returned home I saw that my spare was pumped and back to its spot in my trunk(really nice touch). This was my first flat tire and with the type of customer service and expertise Discount Tire provides, I feel as if I found my tire shop in Bothell! read more

I scheduled an appointment for a rotation at 8am this morning and subsequently realized I had a nail in a tire too. They still had me out the door by 8:15. Tires rotated, balanced, and the hole repaired. This is par for the course for this shop. I've been here many times. They match my price on tires every time, including online sites. The work is done fast and professionally. They are easy to talk to and I have no troubles. Even more important, my wife has gone here many times without me and she has the same experience. On my way to work this afternoon, my tire was again low (20 psi); I was close to Discount Tire, and drove there. I was pretty upset when I realized I was driving around with a flat. I was even more annoyed when after changing out the spare, I had not one but TWO screws/nails in my tire. I took it into this Discount Tire near my house due to all the great yelp reviews, and was happy to learn that instead of shelling out money for a new tire, they would be able to simply repair the tire. They also provided good information about my spare, let me know it was a full size so it was ok to drive around on it for a while. (disclaimer, clearly I know nothing about cars or tires). They also dropped some knowledge on the current state of my tires and it was evident that all the staff knew what they were doing, and were all pleasant to work with without being overly customer service-happy. I left my flat tire over night--it was actually repaired the same day but I couldn't pick it up till the next. When I came back, they not only helped put it back on, and placed the spare back where it belonged, but they shined all of my tires and as I reached for my wallet, told me that everything was done at no charge. I was very pleasantly surprised because everyone hates it when we get unexpected costs with cars, home repair etc. They were really the definition of great customer service, and I will definitely come here in the future for tire related things. read more

Discount Tire is my go to tire store and i have been going to this location for the last 10 years. i went in on Saturday afternoon 15-20 minutes till closing with a flat tire repair. The man at the counter pulled my file, asked if i still had my car and i replied that i had purchased a new car and he said give me your keys ill take care of everything. 15 minutes after closing the guy came in called my name and handed me my keys and thanked me for my business. i was so impressed by the attitude of the team, happy to help even at the end of the day. i am really impressed with the service, definitely exceeded my expectations. so my dad went here yesterday because his tire was flat. they straight up lied to him. they said that there was a nail in the tire and it messed up the inside of the tire. my dad thought it sounded wrong so he asked if the guy who told him this was lying. then asked to see his tire. they told him they threw it away.. that he had to buy a tire from them. you can't just throw away someone elses property!!! you had zero right to do this if there really was something wrong with the tire why wouldn't you show him?? my dad was understandably upset and got loud a manager tried to make it right by just giving him a new tired. which was nice but they tried to force him to buy a tire without producing the proof of his faulty tire who the fuck does this i will never come back here and i will be sure to tell everyone i know to stay clear too. read more

This is the second time I've been there this month. My first was a walk in with a flat in my trunk. While there was a 3-ish hour wait, I was close to home and was able to go while they worked. They work until all the cars are done for the evening, and they estimated the time perfectly. Even having to buy a new tire was as inexpensive as it could be under the circumstances. Today was my second time. I'd made an appointment to get a nail out of my tire and to make sure the rest didn't have slow leaks from punctures as well. I came here because I had previously had a great experience at the Kirkland location and moved recently, so I thought I'd give this location a shot when a problem arose. I had to get my tire patched due to a very large nail embedding itself in my right front tire. I had dropped my car off and went to kill time with a buddy, got the call that my car was ready. As I was walking up to grab my keys, one of the technicians working on a very nice black Audi s4, got mad for some reason, and threw the tire against the ground, bouncing off the concrete rim facing down. I thought, damn, glad I'm not the owner of that car. I pick up my car, get back home and check that everything they had done was fine (I don't know what I was expecting to see since it was just a patch job). Upon looking, I discover that they scuffed the edge of my rim on over half the rim. I will not be going here again. The Kirkland location is way better. read more

Unexpectedly excellent service. I brought my 2016 ram 2500 in to have the oem tires rotated and balanced on Friday morning without an appointment. Nathan greeted me, inspected my tires for wear, and wrote up my order. Brendan and crew soon went to work and were done in 20 minutes. One of the techs even asked if I wanted my tires shined. Brendan asked if I had any questions, checked my break pads and rotors, thanked me, handed me a paper and was about to direct me out of the service bay. I smiled and said I needed to run in and settle the bill. He smiled back and said, "There's no charge sir." I was floored. He said just to share the smile and buy my next set of tires from discount tire. I certainly will! Even more amazing is that all these gentlemen knew all along that I live in Georgia. Called early morning for tire quote and price for girlfriends car they told me $230.00 total out the door. I said ok how about around 2:00 today. He said fine had lots of mechanics today. No problem!! Well got there right a 2:00. Tires were $60.00 more than quote and the made me wait 2 1/2 hrs to install. Real nice people have better things to do than wait at a tire store all day. Also 4 empty work bays. Not very good customer service. Think next time I won't be using this place!!! Maybe treat the people that keep you in business a little better!!!! I have a 2008 Volvo XC70 with the tire pressure sensors and for the 2nd time in two weeks they went off indicating low tire pressure. It was the front tires both times. As I was getting ready for a trip and concerned I might need tires, I made an appointment at Discount Tire for an inspection. I got there at 4 and they said it could be up to an hour. They were pretty busy, always a good sign. After 45 minutes they called my name, handed me my keys and told me that they had found a tiny nail in the LF tire and they had rebuilt the sensor in the RF tire. I asked "How much?" Well run Discount! I've been to a couple shady ones in the past, but there guys were honest and very efficient. I called this morning at 8:00 to set an appointment for 11:30 to get my rear passenger tire looked at as I thought I'd picked up a nail since I had a slow leak. They found the nail, took the tire off and patched it, mounted, balanced, slapped it back on the car and sent me on my way. Got there at 11:25, was out by 11:50! They checked and adjusted the pressure in all tires. No charge, great service, couldn't ask for more. read more

I ordered tires and was told they should arrive early next week. I needed them mounted by Wednesday as I was to leave on a trip down the Oregon Coast. I would be called for an appointment for mounting when they came in. Never got called, so Wednesday morning I called and the tires were at the store. Don't know how many days they had been there. Rep said come on down and they would install. Everything went smooth. They took special care not to damage my rims while mounting the tires. While on the coast I watched the Monte Carlo Grand Prix, Hankook was a sponser and advertised a rebate on the tires I purchased. Discount Tire should have informed me of the Rebate. They didn't seem busy to me and everytime someone came in for tire rotation they were told it would be a 45 min wait. I have different front and rear wheel sizes so I guess I will never have the wait 45 minutes for a rotation. read more

Went in today for 2 new tires on my Corolla. I work with Nathan. I highly recommend him. He smart , courteous and knows how to treat a customer. Usually tire buying is a pain in the ass but my experience today was very positive. I will recommend him and go for my future tire needs. I have had to go back to discount tire twice now because of nails in my tire. Nathan sold me the tire protection package and hands down it has been worth it. I have been a loyal Discount Tire customer for about 4 years now and I have always been very happy with this store. However, if you want tires late in the day (After 5pm) make sure they do everything they say they did. I'll explain. My car had a 'Wobble' in the front end. Since the front tires needed to be replaced I thought I'd try new tires first to see if this fixes the problem. Since I needed front tires anyway, there really wasn't a reason to go to the mechanic first, but I made an appointment just in case the tires didn't fix the problem. I made an appointment at Discount Tire for 5:30pm. The guy on the phone was very nice and said if you walk in here at 5:59pm we will still help you. Great! I showed up at 5:30pm and they installed 2 new tires on the rear in about 30 minutes. So far so good. Upon getting the keys I asked "Did you balance the tires?". Both guys standing there said "Yes, all 4 tires were balanced." Great! I only expected the new ones to get balanced, but all 4 is cool too. I drove away. As I drove, I noticed the front end wobble was still there. So I kept my appointment with the mechanic. Took the car in and it needed new front axles. This explained the front end wobble at about 30 mph. When I picked up the car he told me "The left rear tire seems to be out of balance, if they are new take it back and have them look at it". I took the car back to Discount the next day. They were pretty busy and the wait was 45 minutes so I didn't expect to get helped in 15 minutes. They do have very good customer service. They checked out the car and had it back to me in about 20 minutes. When the guy handed me the key he simply said "All 4 tires were out of balance, we fixed it up for you" and walked away. I'm not really mad about this. They are close to home, it wasn't that much time out of my day and they took care of me quickly. But the point I hope to make is I shouldn't have to go back a second time for a re-balance. And I don't think it's very good customer service to lie to customers like that. I may consider going to a different Discount Tire because of this. read more

I've never felt like I have been spoken down to and feel like they treat everyone at this location with respect and gratitude for our continued patronage, regardless of what we wear, who we are, and what we need. Honestly, this is the greatest auto-engagement company I have ever dealt with. Furthermore, they are awesome with their insurance program: recently, I am in a place that has a lot of rocks and multiple nails/screws; their reasonable tire-replacement insurance has prevented me from spending more than $20 per change out. (I've only been changed out once, but it was nice to not have to buy a new tire 5 months from when I last bought one!) read more
