Great friendly service. The minute I pulled up I was greeted by Michael. He took a look at the tire I brought in which had a large metal shard embedded into the center of the tire. Walked me through a few options and avaliable tires. I decided to go with the nitto motivos because of the reviews and the price. He quickly rang me up for the tires and we were on our way into the bay for the tire change. I decided to change out all 4 tires because of the milage already on the old tires and they were able to accomplish the task in under an hour. I've been to other tire shops where I've waited 2+hours on a tire changes, this was by far the quickest I've ever experienced. Tires came out clean, installed correctly, and no scratches on the rim. Pretty decent shop. Purchased tires from them a few times over the years. The sales folks are generally nice and they're not high pressure. I also appreciate that they don't treat me like an idiot just because I'm a girl. This last purchase had a few little things that weren't perfect (which is why it's not 5 stars) but it's still an affordable and pretty quick option. After getting a flat with only about 5,000 miles of tread left on the other tires, I knew I'd need to buy a new set, darn it. I mean, I knew I'd have to be doing this in a few months anyways, but was hoping to stretch it out. The pricing was a little bit strange. I'd been given the impression that the rebate would be sent later, so after all our pricing discussions, the final price quoted I thought would have a $70 rebate check mailed to me. I should've asked to see the invoice before handing over my credit card, darn it. After paying, I reached for the printed paper, but the sales guy explained they'd hand me everything in a packet once the work was done. It wasn't until I got home and looked through all the paperwork that I saw the rebate had been applied instantly (bonus!). The bad part meant that the price was $70 more than I was expecting. I found all sorts of little charges for different warranties and shenanigans and services (tire rotation and other things) that I would NOT have chosen to spend $70 on, had it been explained to me. It's little tricks like this that get under the skin. Oh well. Anyways, back to the actual experience getting new ties put on my car. I went to wait my 30 minutes. After 25 minutes, a garage tech came over to tell me they were doing some "on the job training" and explained what a trainee had done wrong, and that it would take another 20 minutes. He apologized. I thought it was nice customer service to keep me informed. After the 20 minutes, they drove my car over, delivered the keys and packet of paperwork. I went across the street to do some shopping. Parked, I went to return the stuff in my backseat that normally lives in the trunk (but had been removed so I could access my spare the day before). And I found that the trunk bed wasn't closing/lying flat. I tried a few things but couldn't make it work. So I drove back to Discount Tire. The sales guy came outside right away, saw the problem and quickly identified that someone had put the spare tire back upside down, and hadn't placed the jack properly. Oops. But it only took him 2 minutes to fix. Glad I noticed this while I was still nearby. If I'd driven the 10 miles back home first, I'd have been much more annoyed. The lobby is pleasant. There's a silly machine that will make several different "espresso-style" drinks. It's not very good, but it's free. And they have bottles of cold water while you're waiting, too. read more

I see the interaction with customers and it is always with a smile on both sides. I try to have an appointment when I need to come in as they are pretty busy for walk ins. Stopped in on a Saturday to price check tires (I'm sure so annoying for them). It was crazy busy but everyone was super friendly and welcoming. They price matched Costco (awesome right? Thanks Matt!) and I made an appointment for later in the week to get them put on. Nate was super friendly when I got there and got everything set up. My car had to be difficult and was frustrating for the technician but Nate smiled through it all and helped him out. Great customer service and they earn a lot of return business as a result. I ordered a specialty set of tires, and they were able to get them faster than anyone else. For $2,200 I got the full service, which would have cost several hundred more anywhere else. They are reasonable with throwing in tire certificates with large purchases. With the certs, they replace tires when they show excessive wear or have a punctured side-wall. read more

I went here to buy two new tires for my wife's Camry. I have a big advantage over the average consumer since I know quite a bit about tires. I had a belt sepration issue with the right rear tire (budget means I had to put off driving the vehicle very often). I showed the issue to the salesman and he was great about describing the problem and confirmed my suscpicions - the tire could fail at high speeds. No high pressure sales tactics, just concrete facts. He was also a good listener to my analyis of the tire - buldging, tire imbalance, and incorrect tread wear due to the wife driving over a "turtle". One of those nasty bumps that divide the road. Most likely the tire balance got knocked off and caused the issue. He said my front tires have about 3/32 of tread left, I explained my wife only drives a few thousand miles a year. The salesman said you can put off buying new front tires for probably a year, which sounds about right to me since the legal limit is 2/32 tread depth. He kindly offered to sell me four tires, but I decided for budget reasons I will wait 8 - 12 months. The salesman gave me a quote of around $230.00 and asked for my debit card. I nicely replied, I'll pay when the work is done thanks. After the work was done I got the invoice itemized and I was able to check everything before I paid. As far as tire choice, I chose Arizonian tires since they are all season and work in the snow. The salesman recommended them for "bang for the buck". They aren't top of the line, but they aren't low end either. The tech did try to show me the issue with the front shocks (my Camry is a 98 with 109k miles), I told him thanks but I am already aware. I have to get that fixed next month. The tech confirmed my Camry is very reliable with the comment "these are tough". The tire mouting and installation was done properly, and the techs pay attention to the details. The coffee machine could be a little easier to use, but overall I give this place good marks. Alot of people buy from Costco, but remember they are super busy. The problem with working fast on tires is if the tech makes a mistake it can affect the vehicle saftey or handling in dangerous ways. Or the tire wears incorrectly and you have to replace it in a few thousand miles. This is another reason I like this place, they get it done fast but they don't overload the techs and force them to work too quickly. read more

Thank God for these guys! I blew out my two right tires simultaneously over the weekend and had to have my vehicle towed to their business. They got to work on my vehicle right away Monday morning and had it ready before my appointment time. Matt was very nice and explained what they did to balance out my tires since I did a number on my Rim. They also told me they had to replace one of my other good tires because they found a nail in it but since I had just purchased tires from them over the summer it was covered under their warranty so I got the third tire for free! Their prices are pretty fair and they don't try to rip you off, definitely going to be going to them in the future for all of my tire needs, thanks guys! read more

Just awesome people! I discovered a nail in a tire this morning. Discount Tire Store was the closest, so I swung by, and it was a great choice. A gentleman at the front told me it would be about an hour but managed to get to my car sooner than that. He also took the time to inspect the traction and gave me tips on safe driving. Okay, plain and simple, these guys really rock. Not only was Joe totally helpful and amazing in every way getting me estimates on my tires and giving me options (and he has a great sense of humor!), but Jeremy, on the day I actually had the work done, was also very helpful and efficient and also had a fantastic sense of humor. As a newly single mom, buying tires for an SUV that I never EVER wanted to drive was a daunting experience. Both Joe and Jeremy made the whole process pleasant (as much as spending $800 can be). They even swapped out my spare tire with a tire I still had some miles on. And the gentleman in the garage who did the work was polite, friendly, and walked me to my car (and I'm sorry I don't know his name!). The whole process took about 40 minutes, and I drove home feeling a little broke but much more safe. I can't give five stars because I had an issue, but they MORE than made up for it! I purchased new tires yesterday. The reason I did was because the tires I had were wearing way beyond their mileage and were still under warranty. The guy who was helping me with an air check recognized that they were far newer than the wear and ran and got me info on how much warranty I had left to cover new tires. Then, I got stuck in the snow and decided it was time. I got more than enough information and help with a selection. Then, they told me it would be an hour. They were done in about 30 minutes! It all seemed great until I drove to work today. I was thinking because of the size difference of the new tires, snow on the road and wind, that it felt wobbly driving. A couple of hours later, I ran to my car for something and realized I had a flat. It was all the way to the ground in the snow. I didn't have a way to add air and I wasn't sure about my spare tire since it's been riding around in the car since 2010 and has probably never been checked. I offered to call AAA, but because I work a couple of blocks down the street, one of their guys was able to come to my work. He took the tire off and took it back to the shop. Evidently it was from an issue with a sensor. He came back a few minutes later having fixed it and replaced it on the vehicle for me. You guys are awesome! Just want to give a great review of this location. I came in because my back tire was leaking and it was only gonna get worse. I did not realize that I had come in within about 20 mins of them closing. Roux helped me and I told him I could come back tomorrow as I didn't want to be that type of customer. Roux shook off my offer and said "I don't want to push you out on a leaking tire." They got the tire fixed and sent me on my way. I greatly appreciate the customer service, dedication to making the customer happy and feel welcomed and for the location to go above and beyond. We called Discount Tire at 10 AM with a flat tire and stuck in Bothell and Matt encouraged us to come right in and that they would take care of us as quickly as they could. Even though we had not bought our tires at discount tires, as soon as we got in we waited only one minute before being helped by Matt, and our car was taken in almost immediately, and it's 11:15 AM and we're back driving on the freeway with a fixed tire at no cost to us! A while ago, I had them replace all four tires on my car. One of the tires that was replaced was still relatively new, and they offered to put a wheel on it and make it a full-size spare tire instead of the donut in my trunk. I agreed and paid the extra for them to do that. Today, one of the new tires was flat, so I pulled out the spare tire, but it didn't fit on the car. The wrong wheel had been put on the tire. I understand that everyone makes mistakes, but what distinguishes okay businesses from great ones is what they do about the mistakes. I called them up and explained the situation. They ordered a tow truck at their expense, towed my car to their shop, reimbursed me for the cost of the wheel to compensate for the inconvenience, put the correct wheel on the spare tire for free, and fixed the flat tire. They struck me as showing a high degree of professionalism and customer service. I was impressed. read more

The attendant filled all of my tires with air, then told me I had a visible nail in my tire, but allowed me to leave. Upon further inspection, there was no nail in my tire. I recently went to discount tire and Nathan met me as soon as I walked in and asked if he could help so I asked him if they could fill my two wheels with air and after showing Nathan my wheels he said he couldn't due to the fact that the wheels were very wide and tires were stretched but he said he had something that could help and he ran into one of the bays and came back and gave me a Valve Stem extension for me to use and offered it to me free of charge. Great customer service and even helped me after closing hours on a Saturday! I never post reviews on anything but this is one I seriously had to for what they did for me. Not going to get into all the details but in Short: Ordered custom wheels and tires for my Supercharged Crewmax limited Tundra from Discount Tire Bothell Everett Hwy (best price around after 2 weeks of shopping online and locally - 200+ shopped best pricing) and discounts prices were already the best. Delivered on time as promised. Installed on time as promised. Had issue with wheels noticed following day (factory mistake). Discount overnight the 4 replacement wheels! They offered me a rental car but I didn't need it. They had my truck towed to their shop following day (they recommended to be safe) where they took care of everything for me. My overall experience in dealing with their professionalism is quite impressive. They really went out of their way to take care of the situation immediately.
