It'll be a long time before I head back to the Bothell location. I bought and had winter tires installed here a couple of years ago. The tires are fine, but they took much longer than quoted. Also, they replaced my nice metallic air valve caps with cheap plastic crap and I also found a couple of screws missing from my wheel well. How annoying! The caps are a minor issue, but the missing screws could've been a much bigger issue if I hadn't caught it. But to be fair, they were super busy... yet the Discount Tire in Lynnwood has never made such mistakes(?). read more

Buyer Beware. Just paid for 4 new Michelin tires and 4 new rims installed. Next day I look at the tires more closely to find out they didnt even install Michelin tires but something entirely different. Now, I have to go there again and wait till they change everything out all over again. What a waste of time. Not sure if this was an honest mistake or if someone is truly trying to scam customers. First I went to Firestone and had someone check out my tire leak, and it took him all of 3 seconds for him to tell me it's unfixable and that tire can't be purchased through them. ( Driving a brand new 2018 Camry) Decided to drive down the road to Discount Tire, not only was the service great - Shoutout to Jared. But they were able to fix the tire and not charge me a dime.. They repaired my flat for free although they advised me to replace tires. Got a call from them when i got home that they didn't put my wheel back so i had to go get it. After compare prices and reviews, i went back the next day to buy a set of new tires. I asked if they can dispose my spare and keep one of the best used tire as spare. They did it. Had a bad leak in tire while at work was pretty upset about it I don't live in the area but tire was on it's rim by time my lunch break hit I couldn't Afford a new tire so I was hoping they could repair it for free unfortunately it needed a new tire told the the person to not put a new one on because I wasn't gonna be able to pay them and I didn't wanna waist anyone's time they told me that my safety was there concern and they were not gonna let me drive out of there with a flat tire and it was not a shit tire it was a above average tire honestly I didn't care if it was used or if it was shit it was better than what I came there with so thank you to the person who helped me and the two managers I talked with that day this place I will always recommend for the simple fact that it wasn't just about the money like 90 perc. My family are "Les Schwab people" since 1987 - maybe something to do with free meat... whatever. I got two tires at Schwab a couple of years ago and my boyfriend was shocked at the price. Last week, I had a nail in one of those newer tires and took it in to be repaired under the Schwab warranty. They took two hours to tell me they could NOT repair my nail in the newer tire because the older two were a liability issue. I got a quote, took a photo and sent it to my boyfriend's phone. He told me to call Discount Tire on Bothell Evt Hwy. I went in and Keith (?) got me better tires at a better price than I was quoted at Schwab, they fixed the tire with the nail and rotated my tires in less time than Les Schwab took to tell me they couldn't help me without a new purchase. Who cares about free meat? Discount Tire is awesome and they have my business for life. read more

The first time I had been to this Discount Tire location was roughly 2 months ago. Customer service was mediocre at best. My big disappointment was that I brought my vehicle to them as I had a slow leak in my passenger front tire. I waited roughly 45 minutes (which was a bit irritating only because I had 3 kids in tow and a ton to do before getting my oldest off to camp). So the wait I won't hold against them. My disappointment was that the car was brought to me and I was told the valve needed to be replaced and that they replaced it. 2 days later my tire was almost completely flat again. With a busy schedule, 3 kids to care for and a husband who works opposite schedule I don't have time to keep going back to have my tires fixed. I do however appreciate it is free or I would have been back at the store till they fixed it. Shortly after that tire was almost flat I noticed my back tire on the same side was low as well so I went to the Discount in Lynnwood which I have frequented for years even bought tires from. They too tell me that both tires needed new valves well here I sit and both tires are still leaking. I will now be going to Les Schwab!!! read more

Called in and asked if they had tires I was looking for which they said they did. When I showed up to buy the tires they didn't have them but suggested another size. Came in next day to have tires put on. They said to wait 40 min. When I returned 40 minutes later the tires were not on and they claim they were about to call me and say the tires were the wrong size when they probably knew right off the bat. read more

I took my son's car in for new tires. I fully intended to buy a set of 4. I explained we would only be keeping the car about another year and didn't need some of the more expensive brands/models. After looking at the tires, he indicated that 2 of the 4 would easily still be within an acceptable thread within a year. Bought a new set of tires a month ago, and spotted a small buldge on the sidewall recently. Ive had good service here before but am disappointed that they charged me for rebalancing of the replacement because they considered it damaged by a pothole. Even IF it was a pothole, they should stand up to normal wear and tear. Taking my business elsewhere in the future. read more

Good place to save money on tires, workers sometimes make negligence on detecting the actual problems

I had unexpectedly one of the most pleasant experiences going here to get my car tires repaired of an air leak. I had read some of the reviews, but was hesitant to believe it could be so good without any catches. I called them on Friday and made an appointment for the next day. The customer service was impeccable and they were able to finish work on my car in about 1/2 hour. Turns out there was a nail in my tire. They removed it for free, fixed the leak and filled air in the tire and didn't charge me anything for the service. It might be a tactic to bring you back, but they have definitely earned my loyalty for tire services. Thank you! read more

Awesome friendly customer service (no high pressure sales pitch which I hate) every time I go in. They are fast too! They not only allowed me to choose my appointment time for tire rotation!! They didn't charge me AND I didn't buy my tires there!! I have been a loyal customer there in the past, they have the best deals and I've always been happy with the customer service at both the Bothell location and Bellevue on Bel-Red Rd when I lived there. I only bought my tires elsewhere when I had to, to get home safely from out of town. You can't beat the quality for your money and the service. They had my tires rotated in 20 mins!! When it comes to business practices, there is poor, there is horrid, and there is Discount Tire. I ordered tires on May 6 and was told they would arrive in 3-5 business days. On May 13 (six business days), after not hearing anything from them, I called, and was told the tires were on the truck and would arrive Wednesday morning the 15th. I drove down at noon to drop off my car, and was told that oops, the tires were not ordered. I've been ten days without my car, and I have to think--I live in a major metropolitan area, the tires--235/50x17--are not really that an unusual a size. It was time to buy tires and as most car owners these days know this is not a cheap date. I did my research and decided on the tire I wanted for my car. I shopped around and Costco had the best price. I have heard a lot of stories about Costco taking a very long time to get tires installed. I just did not want to spend a whole Saturday getting tires put on. I called up Discount Tire close to my home and talked to Keith. He was friendly and agreed to match the Costco price of $635 for the Michelin tires I wanted. I made an appointment for this morning. The experience could not have been better. I showed up at 8am and was driving away at 8:40. Keith even charged me $5 less than we agreed on via our phone conversation. I had a very bad experience with Discount Tire in Burien 27 years ago and have not been in one of their stores again until today. This experience has not only erased that bad experience but has made me a Discount Tire customer for future purchases. read more

I have been going to Discount Tire for almost 20 years and NEVER had a bad experience until I went to the Bothell location! The light on my dash came on and I stopped by to get my tires checked. They told me that they checked all of the tires and the pressures were good, but that the indicators that send the signal had bad batteries. They said 3 of 5 tires (that includes the spare) were bad and because of the age of the truck, the others would probably go soon. They quoted $300 plus tax to replace them. Well, I drove for 3 weeks while I did my research. Then, with a (now visible) slow leak in my rear tire, I went to the Everett location. After they fixed the nail hole, and rotated my tires for free - low and behold - my dash light was off! The Bothell location had purposely let air out of a few tires to try to con me! GRRRRRRR! I drove with an unsafe condition because I trusted them to have verified the air in my tire was correct! That is EXTREMELY unethical. read more

This is by far the my worst experience. I bought a set of new tiers for my custom wheels which had custom paint on them. I bought the wheels and had the same day installation on Monday . As i was sitting there and watched them change the tiers i noticed a young guy straggling to take my old tiers off (probably was learning). After getting my car back I noticed huge paint cracks on 3of my wheels I knew right away what it was from. I asked for manager Keith was his name and we exchanged few words( by his reaction he didn't seem too surprised). We agreed that he would call me the next day with few options of what they can do. The whole day past and I didn't get a single call. I called him in the evening and he said he forgot to call me. He gave me an option to give me a set of wheels and tiers to drive on while they would take my wheels to a paint shop on Kent and get a FULL repaint. This was already Thursday. I told them I would need my wheels back by Saturday of next week to go on my road trip, And I was promised that my wheels would get done way before that. On Thursday (2 days before my trip ) I called them to find out why has no one contacted me. A guy at a front desk picked up and said that manager was out for the day so I asked him if he knows anything about my wheels and he said he will call the paint shop to find out. So about 5 min later he called me back and tolled me that the shop started fixing the cracks on Tuesday but the paint kept chipping so they started to do the FULL repaint on Thursday and probably the only day I would get my wheels is on Monday. Amazing! I told him to leave a message for the manager to call me back the next day. So again on fallowing Friday no one called me till I called them myself. I asked for manager and all he said was "oh well I'm sorry it just happened like that". I told him the set of wheels and tiers he gave me are complete crap and I can't go on road trip on those wheels. So we agreed he would come in 30 min before shop opened on Saturday to put new tiers for me (tiers were the cheapest ones they had probably). Before leaving he told me " yeah I'm sorry but on Tuesday your wheels will be here for SURE". As of now Tuesday 7:00 pm no one has called me or let me know anything about my wheels ( it has been 2 weeks off all this mess). Discount tire is the worst place to get a professional installation done on costume wheels. AS OF NOW I WILL NEED A FULL REFUND FOR THE TIERS I BOUGHT. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO'S LOOKING FOR A PROFESSIONAL COSTUMER SERVICES AND PROFESSIONAL JOB DONE. read more

Professional, Trustworthy and Reliable. After driving through a pothole my front tire was loosing air, also tread is very low and I know they need to be replaced. Initially thought to delay going to a repair shop until I have decided on which set of tires than spending for fixing it. Looked up online for a tire shop and called right away (haven't checked yelp though). J.J. answered and he thought initially it might be the rim since I mentioned pothole, come by before 6 and we will take a look and let you know. I went there, J.J. walked to the car, took a look and said its not rim, we have to check inside. I also mentioned about thinking of getting new tires as I know about the tread wear and he suggested couple of options and if needed we can do it today based on diagnosis of the tire. I waited there reading some magazines and then someone called my car model and showed a new part of probably snap-in valve which was broken and so its loosing pressure and they installed it. They do work until all the cars that were waiting are done, informed me you will be done soon. Kept the car right outside the door and mentioned you car is ready, I was asking about payment, J.J. said we don't charge for this, I was very surprised and when I went outside the mechanic told me the sensor will be on and after 10 minutes of driving it will go away. These guys were honest and fair when I came in to have a flat tire repaired they didn't try to sell me 4 new tires. I had a nail in my front tire that came out and the tire went flat as I drove on it. I took it to another big tire shop and they told me it can't be repaired and tried to sell me 4 new tires. Since I bought these tires less than 2 years ago I decided to call Discount Tire. I talked to Matt who was very nice and told me if the tire can't be fixed he would give me a deal on a new tire. So I came in and Matt was busy with another customer, I explained everything to this other very nice guy who came out to the car with me and checked all my tires. He explained since I drove on the flat tire that one needed to be replaced but the other tires had half the tread left and can go another 10,000 miles. I left there feeling like I got a great deal on a brand new tire and that they were looking out for my best interest. I will definitely be back to this Discount tire when I need to buy new tires.
