They tell you they are on a first come first serve basis and then skipped right on by the people who were there first and worked their way backwards to the people who were there first. Guess they are incapable of asking "who's next?" Then they say they will do things in a certain order and then don't, so you think they are done when they aren't. It's completely ridiculous to be the first person there needing a simple rotation which takes fifteen minutes tops and then you end up waiting over an hour because they can't do something as simple as going by who actually came first. read more

I was promptly greeted by Obi in the waiting area. I told him about the issue with the nail in the right rear tire and he promptly started gathering all the info on my truck. I have been dealing with Discount Tire for years and have always had great service at all the service stores I've done business with. I have the road hazard policy so anytime you have a problem with nails or other things you can bring your vehicle in to get your tire repaired. You can also come in every 10-15,000 miles and they will rotate and balance your tires at no cost. If for some reason they can't repair your tire due to a nail or damage they will get you a replacement tire at a discounted price based on tread wear. I also get my new tires here and airways get good prices. They will also give you breaks if you have been with them for a long time too! read more

I want to give this shop Cudo's on their service and hospitality. I went in with a tire that needed to be replaced. A gentleman addressed me as soon as I walked through the door. I saw him do the same throughout my wait with other customers coming through the door. He helped me choose tire(s) and I can say I trusted his suggestions to me. I believe that he was being honest and not just trying to sell tires. This location was loaded with customers, they told me the wait was 45 minutes to an hour. I think I waited maybe 20 minutes. The gentleman who worked on my car was also very pleasant. I think this shop is one of the best Discount Tires that I've ever been in. They have enough workers to deal with all customers in a timely and very friendly manner. Keep up the good Work!!! read more

We were on a long road trip and somehow got a gash in our tire. We're tired and just want to go home. The last thing we want to do is stop and wait hours to get our tire repaired. This place is quick, thorough, and staffed with some friendly and helpful ass people! You can check tire stock and pricing on the website, order tires, make appointments, just about everything but get the tires put on! There is a large waiting area with magazines, restrooms, and bottled water for your wait. The mall, several restaurants, target, academy etc is all within walking distance of there is an extended wait (which there often is, but they are fairly quick!). They offer texts and calls when your vehicle is complete, so there is no harm in wandering off and enjoying yourself while you wait, or running some errands. They do often have a long hour-2 + wait, so I'd suggest trying to make an appointment online before coming in to expedite your visit. Tl;dr This place is great! I needed 4 - 255/55R18 BF Goodrich Sport T/A tires before leaving on vacation on Saturday morning, the Team at this Discount Tire had to special order these tires on Thursday and install on Friday. Not only did they order and receive the tires, they matched the price I got quoted at Sam's Club (but who couldn't get them here in time) without any hassle at all, installed them and when my car wouldn't start, they helped me jump it. Watch that and be careful of the hidden New tires again - told would take 2 hours took 4 1/2 Today rotate tires told would take 1/2 hours still not done 2 1/2 hours later. I can safely say I've never had a bad experience at discount tire. The service is always good, prices are fair and they get the job done. Got a brand new set of tires with them with road hazard. A few weeks later one had a nail in the sidewall, they replaced it no questions asked. I couldn't say that about many other places. read more

I left my home heading to the Houston airport when my tire light came on. Anthony was so polite when I told him my concern. Right away he checked the pressure on the front tires and suggested that they take a better look at the front passenger tire. He listened when I said I was heading to the airport and his since of urgency was greater than mine. Before I could get checked into the front he had my car in the bay and had found the problem, a nail in the side. He probably saved us from a terrible accident because he takes his job seriously. Today I called and made an appointment to buy a tire for my truck. I called and told them I would be there in 20 min. I show up and walk up to the counter where no one was waiting. The guy behind the counter told me to take a seat and they would get to me in a few min. A few minutes later more customers had come in. The guy that told me to take a seat came around and put everyone else on his list and totally ignored me. After waiting another 10 minutes, I just left. I went to another tire store and they had my tire changed in about 10 min and it was $50 less. No more Discount Tire for me. read more

We went one time and they didn't even acknowledge us even though there were four people at the counter and no one in line. After waiting 10 minutes, we just left. Beyond amazing customer service. Had a problem with 2 of my tires. They warrantied those 2 out for me no problem. Since my truck is a 4x4 its better to change all 4 instead of just 2. They cut me a great deal on the rear tires and walked out with 4 brand new tires. Been using them since i was 16 and will always continue to use them without a doubt. I work for a local company that has a fleet of about 20 vehicles. I am there three to four times a month having tires serviced. These guys really know what they are doing. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. Even when they have been extremely busy, these guys are humping it out in the shop, my longest wait time was just about an hour. My Flat tire light came on after picking up my kids from school, oh boy. A preschooler, a 2nd grader and a flat tire. I pulled in to the Parkdale mall Discount tire and was greeted at my vehicle. The employee inspects the tire and not stop a screw in the tread. He then asked if it would be OK to inspect the rest of the tires (I'm thinking he's about to try and sell me something). He then takes me up front showed me that my tires are still in good condition. He offers to fix my flat tire at no cost and check the air in the other tires. The best part is that this location had a children's area with children's books and toys to keep my kids occupied for the 30 minuets I was there. I will definitely be back. read more
