Expensive. Been researching wheel tire combinations for an F150 for about 2 to 3 months. Started searching locally for tire business' sales employees to discuss wheels and tires sales and find a combination that best fits my need. My idea was function before form. Honestly form was dead last. With an exception of Width. Width, speed rating, load rating, dry traction are the main concerns. These were explained to every tire shop I stopped at. Stopped by TT today. Started an financing app, decided it was best not to finish it. Stopped by the shop. The owner wrote up a quote very fast, with not much discussion on what I wanted/was looking for. $3700 for 4 wheels and tires. I would urge everyone make a cash offer and not accept double cost. I provided the quote from another shop also. That shops quote was 2100$. I will be avoiding this business. I mentioned to the business owner his quote was double. Im from Houston and was in Dallas for the weekend. Just so happened to see they had some rims I like but $500 cheaper than any rim shop in Houston. I bought the set and traveled back home to get some tires in Houston. One of the rims was bent and unbalanced out of the brand new box (not Texas Tires fault). I called Jihad and told him about the messed up rim. He told me to bring it back and they would switch it out, but the only problem is I'm 4 hours out so he called his few other locations. The nearest one that had the rims was 2 hours out (Beaumont) and I was about to go the next day to switched it out. I got in contact with Ash from Texas Tires 34 in Beaumont to make sure he had the rim before I traveled out. We had a small conversation and some how he lives not too far from me and ended up meeting him 10 minutes from my house to switch it out!!! Huge shout out to Jahid with Texas Tires 8 and Ash Texas Tires 34! Even though they are not close to me, I will trust them to take care of me!!! Thanks guys! read more

Went from a set of 255-30-22 to a set of 265-40-22 on my 5/7 dropped Chevy Silverado. I walked into the store knowing close to nothing on understanding tire sizes but I knew I wanted to get a bigger size than what I had. Sales rep Ash did an amazing job on assisting me in picking a bigger size in regards to fitment but also educated me with a tire comparison chart. I got to say, quick and excellent service overall. Where to begin..... Long story short, I came in to get a set of rims, no tires as my car is brand new. I was sold a set that i really liked & before ANYTHING was done i asked several times if they would RUB was assured they would not, I made it perfectly clear that i didn't fitment was the main thing, well they rubbed in the rear & chewed up my sidewall to the point where it looked like i had rubber band streamers glued to my side wall, go back up there & was told they would find the correct size & not to worry they would replace the tire when changing out the rims. 5 day's later they couldn't find those exact rims so we looked for a set that would, ordered them & came back to swap out. New rims on checked the bad tire, looks good & leave. Test out with my kids in the car (weighted down) and bammm no rubbing! I think finally I'm good. Sunday (6 day's later) I'm doing a walk around & opposite side of my car i seen something on the tire, look closer & IT'S THE CHEWED UP TIRE THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE REPLACED!!! I made my mind up I'm not going back, i will take the L & lesson learned, yesterday (1 week old brand new rims) the red ring on my rims are already chipping & coming off & they haven't even been washed yet! So please learn from my horrible experience. I settled for this set & don't love them to begin with, i don't hate them just not what i wanted. Their very nice people & could sell lightning in a bottle but that does not excuse the rest. read more

I went on line to complete the finance application before I visited the store. When I got to the store, I spoke with Ash, the store manager. I informed him I needed tires for a 2019 bmw 740. He asked me if i was financing and if I had already been approved. Like a dummy I told him I was approved for 1200. He then looked up my vehicle in the computer system and continued to make changes. He then said he had a set of tires for my car and he could let me have them for 1200. I figured tires for my car would be around 1200 due to it requiring run flats. So I agreed to the deal and he had the tires put on. When I got home, I sat down and looked at the contract...I know, a little late. I noticed that I was charged for 8 tires, but I only needed four. I then looked up the name and tire size on amazon and the tires he installed were only 90.00 a piece and are not run flats. I immediately went back to Texas Tire, not even 30 minutes later, and explained to Ash that on the contract he charged me for 8 tires. Clearly states it on the contract. He doubled the price so he could max out the finance amount. Ash then stated it was nothing he could do and could not take the tires back. He stated I would have to take it up with the finance company. When I contacted them, I was told that they have many complaints about this same situation from this specific store. I am still in the process of disputing the charge. The finance company did reach out to another Texas Tire and received a quote for the exact same tires, mount, balanced, warranty and finance charge and it was 610.00. So Ash clearly double charged me to max out the amount I was financed. read more

I have spoken to people who have success stories at this place, unfortunately I have not. I'm writing my experience because if there would've been an experience like this on here I would've gone elsewhere. I dipped my truck off for a small lift and it had been one problem after the other, wheels nice tires nice but this shop should stay a tire shop they have no business doing lift or Leveling kits. First trip truck was not leveled, they said they would fix it and said the lift company sent wrong keys. next time truck was back to factory height they said they would fix it, and stated lift company send wrong parts it turned out. I asked to put the truck back to factory , oh we through those away already. I've never heard of that most places put it in your truck bed, shady? They tel me to call to their lift dealer and he said he hadn't heard anything about wrong parts being shipped and would send me an email showing correct parts sent but he couldn't speak to wrong installation. Then owner says I'll change the lift and he does and it's fine doesn't sit up but truck is somewhat leved now not worth the money or hassle but it's done, But truck isn't aligned I bring it back and he sais it's your front end there's nothing we can do, it needs this this and this. I take it to get a second opinion at a legit shop and they call back within 2 hours and say truck is good they don't see anything wrong, front end is solid and in great shape! Use Texas tires or don't but be informed. Also I have a 1 star cause 0 isn't an option. read more

Daughter needed two new tires while traveling. They had them in stock and were speedy and prices were great compared to other tire stores.

Took my truck to get a lowering kit installed. They said they can do it and they did. The kit I have is an adjustable kit and I told them what height I wanted. So I left my truck and came back and it was not the height I wanted. I specifically told the manager I wanted 6" drop in the rear and they set it to 5". I brought it back and they lowered 7" inches, which I did not want. So I was already fed up and I drove home. As I was driving, it was super bouncy in the rear all the way home. The drive was about 25-30 mins of bouncing around. So I got home and discovered that my frame was laying on the rear axles. The job for them to install the lowering kit was horrible. My frame is cut up with unclean work. They did not spray the frame like they're supposed to to keep rust away. At this point I am heated. Brought it back to them to fix for the third time and finally got it done. And also as the workers were pulling my truck into the garage, they kept revving my engine. Like they were tapping on the throttle for fun. Super pissed ! Will never ever go back. read more
