Used to love this store. But after spending well over $150 for an Xbox One and games, I was forced to return the controller immediately after it had severe stick drift. Okay, fine. It was a bit of an inconvenience. I would've hoped it was tested before being sold. But it's now happening again, BUT unfortunately I am screwed because it's slightly past the big 14-day return period. I did not want a refund or a new console--I just want to be able to play a game. I cannot afford to slap down $60 for a controller--as the $150 took a while to save back--and playing this Xbox is one of the only luxuries of fun I have in my life. I'd expect this nonsense from GameStop, but I always assumed Disc Replay was a little more personable. Especially considering how GameStop and other physical media stores are going out of business. Now, if this were months and months ago, I could see their reasoning; but they sell absolute garbage and now I have a very heavy paperweight. SMELLS - Owner forces all stores to use this ridiculous smelling floor cleaner. Hey, if you're neurodivergent? Don't go here. Owner is absolutely brain dead to allow this disgusting smell to continue after countless customers have complained and complained and complained. Every time I talk to a friend about disc replay the smell is either the first or second thing they bring up. It is ridiculous. Every time I go in I complain about this smell and the workers there just nod in agreement but they can't do anything as it's out of their hands. Every disc replay around here smells the same way. I've stopped going to disc replay. I refuse to support this stupidity. I know others who avoid it like the plague because they'll have a headache for the rest of the night after visiting. This store is such a gem! The staff is always so helpful and nice. Everyone one of them are always working so hard. I had Hunter help me today trade some items in and he was so nice. Made sure I was aware of the whole trade in process. Definitely went above and beyond! The store also has an excellent selection of products. From retro games all the way up to current generation. I also was shocked at the value of my trade in! If I went to game stop to trade in my games they would try to lowball me. Disc Replay is actually pretty fair when it comes to pricing. So when I walked in to the store I smelled a very bad stench almost like rotten flesh and I had AirPod pros with em and I'm trying to get Jbl's And he offered me 20 dollars when the screen said 100 dollars and I said no pointer at the screen said it says AirPod pros right there and he denied and he said he would look at my AirPods he factory reseted them and paired them to his Apple ID When he didn't have to And when I declined he tried to Bump it back Up to it's price that it was at the beginning.he also said the AirPods were dirty when I did a deep clean before.Do he lied and I will not be going back to this store anytime soon read more

Sold defective merchandise(Portal 2) game has a part that freezes every time. Didn't discover issue until after 14 day policy because I have a life outside of video games. Called and was offered a free resurface to try and fix the issue. And if not they would take it back anyway considering the issue. When I went in this had changed, the resurface would not be free and they wouldn't be taking it back. I caved because I wanted the game. And what a shock the resurface didn't work. So they scammed me out of $14.50 but never shopping or selling there again. Seems shortsighted. read more

This store has rows of movies and games with a selection of posters, Xbox, new & used replacement gear, iPod Nano, cameras, Kindles, Nooks, headphones and more. I was surprised they were so busy in the daytime with two long lines of customers at both registers. The prices are fair and nice place to stock up movies and games at grandma's house or babysitters. They do not purchase CD's or music DVDs and price offered for games range from $1-$10 depending on popularity and current stock. I would suggest you purchase it when you see what you want since the turnover is high. Snooze you lose. read more

Sorry guys, had to come on here and be negative. Trying to keep a cool head, I went in to sell a PS4 some time a few moths back, finally I could afford to have a gaming rig and decided to put the PS4 to a new rightful owner. Felt they offered more than GameStop and gave it a try. Now listen, I do know how how resale of a refurbished device. My data was put at total risk of someone else! If you can't clear a simple drive, you can't sell the product! Now my account was still on my PS4, which tells me that drive wasn't cleared. I still have the E-Mail from Sony confirming this, I even contacted the store in Fishers, but he could only give me a name of your guys owner. I don't want to talk to a shift lead. They told me I have to file a police report and contact Sony about the issue and my bank to freeze the transaction. But, with this all said and done, the procedures to clear the drive was not done. This place left my data on a PS4 to be sent out to another person, my credit card was handed straight to another person because of the lack of a simple step someone ignored. I thank GOD the transaction was still pending! Do not trust this store. Nor is Rockville a very nice place to be. So my PS4 was probably sold to some thug who saw my credit card was on there and bought 3 months of PSN. Your personal data is at risk with this store. *AVOID* read more

I visited this store to sell a couple of games today and was not pleased. When I first arrived a person behind the counter took in my games and told me it would only be a few minutes to get to my items because he had someone that brought in items before me. I was okay with this because I understand how it can be. After 10 minutes of waiting he returns with their items, which is 4 or 5 games/dvds and completes their transaction. Afterwards he starts chatting with people behind the desk and joking around without even getting to my items. Finally he comes up to the counter with my games, hasn't even checked them yet, and looks around asking if he can help someone. I walk up and he tells me to wait as he wants to help the buying customers first. Once he is done with them, he is on to me. He checks the games at the register I had brought them to in the first place and tells me their price. Our finally interaction taking a total of a minute or two. Finally after a 30-35 minute wait, I was help with my two game sale. This process took way too long. Even with just checking the people before me, I should have been in and out in 10-15 minutes. read more

Dude literally. We bought 3 games and an xbox wireless remote, we paid $63. We get home all pumped to play and realize they give us call of duty ghost in a call of duty black ops case, then the remote isnt even working!! So you know were calling and no one is answering!! There were like 5 people in their working when we went in so why arent they answering??? Did they all go home 30 mins after us leaving and calling. This is bull hockey. And will be calling tomorrow morning and showing up!!!! Give me a break. Time range 6pm-8 pm, they close at 9 as it clearly says. read more

Pretty great place if you're looking to just get rid of a lump sum of electronics or video games and accessories. Not the best price for items but definitely better than just giving them away or having to wait extended periods of time posting things online. This Disc Replay is near Avon on Indy's Westside. We go here about once every few months to peruse the used games for the PS3. It can be hit and miss, but overall the games are in good shape and prices are better than other resale locations such as GameStop. The main bummer is this location always has a long line of people with their Walmart sac of movies etc. they are trying to sell. Fine and dandy, but it takes so long! I've left before due to not wanting to wait in the huge line. read more

Store had a great selection of everything, but we didn't stick around very long, the smell in there was terrible, not sure if it was a customer or just how it normally is but very distracting like a mix of B O, cigerettes, and mustiness, also noticed while bent down to look at items how dirty the carpet was, dirt and lint all along the walls and corners. Maybe short staffed? The line was to the door, so even if i had found something I wouldn't have wanted to stay in line. Idk either way wasn't comfortable to stay and look. read more

This is the review that I never wanted to write, especially because this has been my FAVORITE DVD store to shop at for years! Sadly I can't shop here anymore because the AIR FRESHENERS ARE WAAAAY TOO STRONG!!! My sinuses aren't that bad either - my wife's are much worse, and she can't last more than a minute in the store! I've spent thousands upon thousands of dollars at the Indy locations, but I can't buy anything if I can't BREATHE! It is my hope that this review might finally get the attention of the new owner that took over last year (who I am now told has refused to do anything about this issue) so that I might be able to once again shop here! I really want to support this business, but seriously - YOU HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THESE AWFUL AIR FRESHENERS!!! I've visited this location twice, and stood in line for over 15 minutes both times. Not worth the wait; you will be better off driving up to the Castleton location. Also, I wouldn't recommend selling them anything unless you REALLY need the money. They offered me $5 for an xbox 360 game that was less than 6 months old. I would rather throw it in a trashcan or give it to someone for free than letting Disc Replay buy it for $5. read more
