A C Wonder shirt that still had tags... Retailed for $138... And it had an orange tag... 50% off so it was $2.50. I also bought a Boden tweed dress...$6.99... Can't beat that! They had plenty of stock... Just takes some time to search...well worth it! Happy hunting!

They really think they are doing you a favor by charging $19.95 for house slippers. Most of the items should be discarded in the trash. They think people are stupid when the double the price and then give you a 50% discount on sale day and even then the half price amount is the retail price you could buy the same item brand new at Ross. This place will close soon. Goodwill reported a record breaking 7 billion dollars of income last year and pays some of the disabled workers as little as little as $1.00 per hour. They should be ashamed as goodwill is supposed to help those in need and not get things for free and then take advantage of the very people they are entrusted to serve. Shameful, Shameful, Shameful.

Today's review really is about The Gathering Place cafe, which is why we went to The Mole Hole. It's absolutely lovely. They have about 4 to 5 tables that could accommodate 4 people. Plus they had a cute table for two. The tables are elegantly decorated with linen floral napkins on pretty placemats. See photos. The food is light fare, but with ample portions. We started with iced teas (they also offer beers, wine, and champagne). For entrees, we ordered the spinach salad with salmon and pecans as well as the ham and spinach quiche with the southern pea salad. The pea salad contained peas, corn, pimento, and shredded cheddar cheese -- quite unique and very good. My husband can't stop raving about it. We really enjoyed our meals. All food is made in house. See photos. Service is prompt and friendly. You pay at the final checkout up front so you can pay for food and any shop purchases together. Bring cash for your tip, as their receipts don't include a line for a gratuity since they are primarily a shop. The restaurant is open Monday through Saturday for lunch until 3 p.m.

There is also a cafe inside serving lunch 11am-3pm. I personally wasn't impressed with the selection (previously trendy prints) but again it seems they are catering to an older crowd-the staff also gave that vibe by how they spoke to our family. Worth a look if you have time but I think the consignment spots in Richmond are better.

The shop, located off Richmond Road, is in a cute two-story building that has you feeling like you're entering a country boutique. It's filled with home decor items, canned foods, furniture, candles, jewelry, clothes, and more! The styles are coastal, country, and casual. We selected many items as Christmas presents in December and more recently purchased a cute painted side table for $32 and a "Blind Date with a Book" for $8. The book is wrapped in brown paper with hints about the book written on top, without revealing the name of the book. It's a great gift for readers and for yourself! Prices are mostly reasonable, as you can see from what what we bought. Service is friendly and helpful--especially if you don't quite know what to get that someone special. We love stopping by the Lazy Daisy!

I just wish that the folks working were more efficient and friendlier. I don't love that they take the tags off when you buy things. I know that's their process and it's all final sale anyway, but it'd be ideal to have an itemized breakdown. I thought the sweatshirt I was buying was $26 because it was situated in the same display as other sweatshirts that were $26 (display pictured). My fault for not taking note of the specific one I picked up, which was $38. The price difference felt a bit outrageous for the same brand of shirt and I had to email them to confirm the price. The line to check out took about 25 minutes. I am in my 30s, but I do have a bad back, so standing in place hurts. I listened as they gracefully apologized to all the older folks ahead of me, but they barely said a word to me when it was finally my turn, much less an apology for the excessive wait. I just wish that, being that it's nearly 2025, they'd consider a more efficient check-out system. I included that feedback in my email to them, though they didn't acknowledge it sadly. That would've been a great time to apologize and confirm that they will do a better job of treating guests equally regardless of appearance in the future. Five stars for the quality goods; one star for the service, but I'm rounding my review up to be kind.
