Well, this is the wifey sharing her experience on the hubby's Yelp…read more I've been shopping here for several years now. Maybe twice or three times a year. Over these years I have often found great deals. Several times I've come here due to having a fancy upcoming event and not wanting to pay full retail at one of the higher-end department stores. Often I find what I need. Not every time but often. I found that all the items were in good shape, so I assume when the staff intake items they weren't taking in junk. As for service and staff. They have always been helpful. I have seen them have 3 or 4 folks at the register and the line takes a bit but that's just how it is. Now I have never consigned with them so I can not share that experience. So if you looking for great items and not looking to spend a small fortune - come here and give this place a look.

My boyfriend and his daughter love to antique and thrift so I knew we were going into this shop…read morewhen we saw it while shopping in Hilton Village last weekend. They have a large back room as well as a few items in the front and two smaller rooms off the back with dresses, shoes, and blazers and jackets. There were some great deals to be had here on name-brand items and we had a good time looking through the wares. I used the fitting room and spoke to the ladies up front for a while and everyone was helpful and friendly. There are not any men's items inside so we didn't look for a terribly long time bc my boyfriend couldn't find anything for him. There are gems to be found - but it's all used clothes and accessories so you need to know before you go.

They spent a great deal of time helping my kiddo find exactly the right pair--trying different options "Goldilocks-style" until everything was just right. Their kindness, patience, and personal attention meant so much to us. We left with the perfect shoes and tremendous appreciation for this wonderful local business. Highly recommend!

I had an outstanding experience thanks to Orlando and Ruthie at the Newport News location!…read more Orlando was extremely helpful and took the time to help me find exactly the shoe I was looking for. When they didn't have my size available, Ruthie, the manager, went above and beyond by calling around to another store and locating the shoe in my size. That level of customer service is rare these days and absolutely deserves recognition. Both Orlando and Ruthie were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure I was taken care of. Five stars without hesitation. Thank you, Orlando and Ruthie, for an exceptional experience!

I was greeted immediately and asked if I needed help with anything, cause I probly looked a bit lost. The store is quite large, and beautifully put together and well organized, there are machines strategically placed around to cut material and help with various quilting projects, as well as a large classroom seating area! I was able to get all my questions answered about the project I was trying to work on as well as questions about the machines! The staff is highly informed and very helpful, especially to a newbie like myself. I was able to learn a lot about the different machines and the fabrics. There are hundreds and hundreds of all different printed materials, you will definitely find anything you need and more for any sort of quilt project, too many colors and prints to write on paper! I was able to get some beautiful high quality, soft, red and grey, minky fabric, and cannot wait to use it to attempt to make a huge blanket/quilt. Please do yourself a solid, and check out this incredible store if you have any sort of quilting project, or would like to join one of the many classes they offer!

After I was asked "can I help you" women started coming in for a class. They were greeted in a much more friendly manner. I shopped in total silence. The only engaging person was the lady who cut my fabric. She was very friendly and personable. Funny thing was, she was just standing in for the owner. Had it not been for her, I would have left without purchasing anything. The store has quality quilter's fabric that is comparable to other quilt shops. There is a quite large classroom. I was glad to see that they carried several Fabric Cafe 3 Yard Quilt books and kits. Their supply corner was also well stocked. I was checked out at the register with not much conversation. I left feeling that the employees weren't interested in my business. This could easily be a 4.5 rated store if they were welcoming to EVERYONE!
