There are tons of vendors here - in front of Waterside they're easy to see but there are more inside and on the back area by the water so be sure to walk through the building (a few were set up inside in back by the doors) and onto the sidewalk outside where there were easily another 10-15 tents. There is a lot of vintage/flea market clothing but there are also vendors selling their crafts like wood cutting boards, stones and crystals, bags, soaps and candles, etc. We had a good time and everyone was very friendly.

The booths here seem more permanent, it's probably the vendors' full-time job, and the merchandise is inexpensive, but new. They have clothing, shoes, electronics, perfumes, furniture... all kinds of stuff here. They even have fresh produce and a restaurant! It's a whole other world that I'm not familiar with! There wasn't anything there that I was interested in, but it seems like they have good foot traffic. Car detailing outside. Broken glass everywhere in the parking lot, so be careful.

Your one stop shop Flea Market…read more I don't frequent this area often, when I do it is for a purpose to visit one store and then I am out of the area...on the interstate headed to familiar territory. Well I ended up at this location because I pulled up the Military Hwy Flea Market... near the Norfolk Airport, but I had no idea it no longer exists. That's right... gone! I found out as of 09/11/18 the patrons had to move due to the lot being sold... car lot coming soon. Luckily I had the phone number for my body oil/scents guy and he guided me to this flea market. This location wasn't too hard to find... I visited on a Saturday late morning... There are about 10 or more shops present... some of everything for every one. Again my main reason was to pick up body oils. Parking...not bad at all. The building and lot looks a bit old, but don't be fooled by the outside you may find some great deals on the inside. WaWa is located across the street and other shopping is located nearby all within walking distance. However, be careful because this area of the city is super busy. Have fun and enjoy life :)

Whenever we travel I always check out the thrift scene. This area is lacking in thrift in general…read moreand this was the only one we found. It's called a flea market but I wouldn't necessarily consider it one. It's indoors and appears to be more of a antique co-op with little booths belonging to different vendors, many were vacant. Each one sold something different. Some focused on real antiques, others (and the majority) just crap. One booth was selling brand new Nikes, to be determined if they were the real deal, and new in package hair accessories catering to black hair. Larger but dated furniture pieces were also for sale. The outside definitely lacked curb appeal. There was even an upholstered sofa out on the side exposed to the elements for God knows what reason. The parking lot was gravel. The building itself was probably a grocery store in its previous life but now was just a store in need of maintenance. While we were in and out of there in 5 minutes we were warmly greeted by the lone employee. My first instinct was to give a 1 star review but now that we know the area feel it's in line with everything else, which is a more rustic and rundown than we're used to up north. I also think this area in general is plagued by poverty so the inventory of used goods would reflect that. However the warm greeting and southern hospitality was present every where we went, here included, hence the 2 stars. My recommendation: if you're from this area by all means check them out. If you're not, and are familiar with antique and flea markets and know what to expect it's best to pass.

Just another cute day at the market!…read more Saturday society is finally in season, and it is filled with the cutest small businesses. There are many local coffee and food vendors to choose from. Along with hand made crafts and notified clothing. It's across the street from Mt.Trashmore, so after a nice market stroll you can cross the street and enjoy a stroll on the park trail. Parking is free, and is set up so well. It's easy to get in and out of the parking lot. I recommend coming early if you're trying to get in life for the infamous beach bum coffee.
