The Williamsburg Antique Mall is officially one of my favorite places and it only took one visit. I want to start this review by saying when I walked in to this business the sun was still up. I walked out and it was night time. I was in this antique mall for HOURS and didn't even realize it. The mall is well organized and all of the employees were friendly. We found something within in five minutes of entering the mall. Hours later we were still adding to our purchase pile. The antique mall is organized in rows. I was impressed with their customer service system. Each row has a call button. You hit the button when you need assistance (ex: a cabinet opened or a question) and someone will come directly to you. My wait was short each time that I hit the call button. Again, I was impressed because this place is huge. The amount of antique items was overwhelming interesting. I saw toys from my childhood, a large collection of Hallmark ornaments, paintings, books and a lamp that I immediately fell in love with (see pic). I HIGHLY recommend setting aside a few hours to visit this antique mall whenever you are in Williamsburg. You will not be disappointed. read more

This is my first time at the Williamsburg antique mall. Upon arrival parking was very easy. There is so much available. You enter in one door and exit out another. Once I walked in. We were greeted warmly and explained how the store operates and how to find things there is a scavenger hunt available for children which I think is awesome. They also give you paper with numbers so you can circle aisles that you remember if you found something you liked. There is over 400 booths and it was easy to navigate. It never felt too crowded. The staff was extremely helpful the entire time. If you found something and had a question about it instead of walking to the front, they had door doorbells placed throughout the entire mall when the doorbell rang. It went over the loudspeaker stating where Help was needed. That alone makes me wanna come back because I don't have to walk up to the front or find an employee to get help. It really makes it for an easy shopping experience. Price varies as it is based off of the owner of the booth. There is also public restrooms more than one throughout the mall. There is also a small café on the inside, so you could kind of make it an all day affair if you wanted to I will definitely be returning. read more

This is one of those antique malls where there are a bunch of different vendors, some of which are just locked cases. One thing I really liked about the store is that they give you a little map so that you can circle where you see things you like. They also have buttons on every row so you can call unattended over. Everyone is very friendly. The bathrooms were clean. And the attendants were attentive. It's also one of those antique bones where a lot of people think that just because something is old means that they can charge new prices for it. We heard several other patrons also laughing about some of the ridiculous pricing. But it was fun to walk around and look at stuff. read more

LOVE this place! Been a patron of this place for 10 years now. It's amazing. BEST antique mall in Hampton Roads easily! This place has everything. Anything you could possibly think of is here. And it's HUGE! This is a drive over an hour just to come here type of place. You will not be disappointed. Give yourself at least 2 hrs to walk through. You might get overwhelmed after an hour though cause it's definitely a lot! There's so much stuff. Seems to be priced fairly. This is like visiting a museum. Plus, there's a cute little cafe. This is my second visit to the antique mall in Williamsburg as my wife and I love going to places like this, we've been to many antique shops in Virginia Beach, mechanicsville, and Tappahannock.. but this is the first time I've ever felt like my money didn't matter.. my son (27) and I were looking at baseball cards in the glass case as my son is a giant collector has every Topps baseball set from 1980 through 2025 and about $15,000 in other cards and collectibles.. so I'm sure the person called Wes who has case SC-01 would not be happy to hear that a person that was interested in spending his money was left to feel like he was not worth the courtesy or respect to look through cards and not be rushed, or have cards taken out of his hands like he was trying to pull a fast one.. he purchased 5 card and later realized he already had 3 of them if he was aloud to look through the cards he probably would have spent a few hundred but because of the woman who "helped" us he spent $7... I will be contacting Wes and I will not be going back to the antique mall in Williamsburg. read more

Upon walking into the building, you are greeted with the warmest of welcomes. I was really impressed with the system of keeping track of items you find on the floor. My husband and I like to visit antigue malls where ever we travel and this was one of the most impressive. They have a vast selection of items from custom made to antique hard to find items. I found some cute earrings I will wear on my next cruise, and the value of the money is hard to beat. I highly recommend stopping by this mall! read more

Love Williamsburg! This historic town has so many antique shops! If you're an antique picker, you don't want to miss this huge Antique Mall! There's plenty of parking, but I hope you have a big trunk because you'll most likely not leave empty handed! Hundreds of vendors, aisles and aisles of treasures. The vendors take pride in their displays. Most booths are well organized, clean and creative. You may want to put aside a couple of hours if you're like me and enjoy scouring every nook and cranny of an antique shop! The inventory is too extensive to delineate, but suffice it to say, they have it all! As a collector of Shakespearean memorabilia, I found a cool plate as well as other finds in my haul! The main downside of this mall, is that because it's in a tourist town, many of the prices are expensive, some exorbitant. I saw some Toby mugs and other collectible mugs for $300-$400, one was of the Bard! Ridiculously priced... when I got home, I found the exact same mug on eBay for $40!! So keep your phone handy and check google while you're scavenging. It's a good haggling tool, even though the cashiers can't discount much, so it's best to see if the vendor is in their booth!! There used to be a cute tea room in this mall, which I loved! It was nice to take a break while shopping and stop for a respite and a cup of tea. I'm not sure if they've added another snack spot. Checking out can take awhile if you are there on a weekend when the place is crowded! They need to pick up the pace and add extra manpower. But I still try to make it there as a regular stop whenever I'm in Williamsburg. read more

I hate to have to say this but my experience at the Williamsburg Antique Mall today was so unprofessional I will ABSOLUTELY NEVER RETURN. The man checking me out asked if I would prefer to use debit or credit for payment, letting me know using credit results in an additional fee of approximately $1.65. I told him I would use debit and he proceeded with the transaction on his end. He the had me tap my card on the chip reader, with no prompts required on my end...I simply tapped and waited. The sale quickly went through (again with no additional input/selection made by me...I tapped per his direction and waited). The sale was complete and he immediately accuses me of using a credit card vs. debit card loudly saying "good one, you got one over on me" . I was confused and asked what he meant because I used my bank card but was not ever prompted on my end to select debit vs credit upon tapping my card. It was immediately processed. He said "no, you used a credit card" which I absolutely did not. He literally accused me of purposely scamming him. Unbelievable. I showed him it was my First Advantage FCU bank card but wouldn't acknowledge it. His only response was "whatever it's not my money anyway". I even tried to give him $2 cash and he waved me off to go get my items from the lady wrapping up my purchases. Also, just prior to this happening we watched him reprimand another employee for making a mistake on a sale she just completed. He talked down to her as if she were a child in front many customers. Again, so unprofessional. I'm not sure if this man is the owner or is just an employee but either way I will never return . Ever. read more

Am not much for antique shopping so am not as familiar. This is probably the biggest shop I have ever seen. They have at least 6 aisles of stuff. From toys to furniture and other relics. They had coins and civil war stuff. This is was fun and a little overwhelming. You need to go more than once to really look around. read more

This place is so huge with everything. If you don't find something then you are crazy. It is run by friendly people and you can find treasures for cheap. They have a scavenger hunt for kids and sales for adults. The best part was they have this cafe run by sisters and the food is unbelievable. Holy crap, eat, drink, and pee before you come here. THIS PLACE IS HUGE. There is literally something for everyone and must be over 200 vendors. I loved the glass cases that get you started on your journey into the store, and also they explain and give you a card to keep track of things. I would recommend you also write down which aisles you already hit because it is very easy to miss or go through the same aisle if you do not. There is a small cafe here as well but open later in the morning. Bathrooms were clean and people were friendly. If you need something, you touch a help button and they come to you, overall, good experience. read more

One of the things I enjoy the most is browsing antique malls. I am from Madison, WI and often have visited my local antique store in my home city. My parents moved to Virginia in 2022. I have been visiting my parents in Williamsburg, VA twice a year since they moved. I have been to this mall during every visit with my parents, and it is spectacular. Today, I found a Flying Eagle Penny minted in 1858 for $20 and other old coins. I also got a discount on my $26.00 purchase. That includes a Mercury Dime, and an Indian Head Penny from 1899. One of the things I collect is coins, and they have a hefty selection and very helpful staff. Out of all the antique malls I have been to, this is my "absolute" favorite! You can also order online as well. They have a cafe with coffee and brunch items. They also support our Veterans, and that is very important as our Veterans are the foundation for our country and our freedom. Thank you. read more

I live locally and I used to love shopping at the Williamsburg Antique Mall. But lately the service is getting worse. As a disabled veteran I like to use a shopping cart due to the back surgery I had a month ago on one day there were no shopping cart. I asked a man working at the checkout if a cart came back to the front of the store could he let me know by calling me over the interco. The man took my name after walking 2 of the aisles I stopped at the checkout counter where a lady was walking off with an empty shopping car. His response was he forgot and they got busy and asked for my name agai. I walked through 2 more aisles and left. There's a need for more shopping carts especially when you want people to bu. Today I called to inquire about a scarf buckle that I need for my gown. The response was I don't know what the vendors are selling. I am inquiring that there maybe one at the checkout in the glass case. She responded very rudely that she was not sure. Please note that I had this woman on speaker during our conversation. That she didn't know again as though I was bothering he. After all she did answer the phone when I called. She then stated that she was with another customer. I could have waited patiently had she asked me to hold. Due to her being with a customer. Understand that the impression she left with my co worker's said it all when I hung up the phone. WOW was she rude said one another said where was her customer service. My moto is the job did not ask you to work there you chose to work at the Antique Mall so be kind. read more

300+ dealers. Lots on sales 9/26/2020 (a couple of 50% off). Typical antiques. Some overpriced. Some good deals. Wife and I spent almost $200 today and walked with a huge box of merchandise. Tons of kitchen vendors. Not too much furniture. Lots of replica. More than a few Christmas vendors. Truly something for everybody. Loved to fiction vendor. I had the most incredible time wandering the hundreds of booths in the WAM. They have everything you can think of: antique furniture, beautiful 10k/14k gold jewelry, vintage toys, decor, and more than I can name. The women who run the mall are the epitome of southern hospitality. My friends and I went in each looking for something different, and they spent so much time working with us to find what we came for. They are so warm and welcoming. When we walked in we were greeted and handed a floorplan and explained the layout and how there were service bells on each row in case we needed assistance. As one that hits up antique malls on a regular basis, we saw some very unique items. However, the standard mason jars, deviled egg platters & 1980's vinyl records were way overpriced. I think my soul is older than my body, because my friends and I were really excited to check this place out. We were probably the youngest people there. When you enter, there are rows of glass displays with smaller, more valuable items. The rest of the building are longer rows where people rent out booths to sell their goods, from furniture, trinkets, hats, you name it. We spent at least two hours going down every aisle. My only complaint was that the air circulation wasn't the best, and I found myself warm and kind of tired. It was the goods that kept me walking down the aisles. I ended up buying a bracelet and necklace set. Originally I only wanted the bracelet, but it had to be purchased as a set. One of the employees offered to call the seller and see if we could negotiate a discount, and the seller agreed to 20% off. Sold! It was a great experience. Our alternative was to visit the outlets, and honestly, I think I had more fun here, and bought better stuff. read more

Whenever I am in the area, I try to make a point to stop here as it provides a great way to stretch from the long car ride and check out the latest inventory. I have yet to walk away without having purchased something. You should know that there is a 1.87% up-charge if you use a credit or debit card. While it usually equals out to some additional change to the overall cost, I don't remember this additional charge when I was there last. read more

Huge! Be prepared to spend at least 2 hours here if you want to get close to looking at everything. It just keeps on going! Prices are a bit high, but that is for the "antique" name. It is the type of store where they have different booths owned by different patrons, so takes a little longer to check out because they have to match the products to the correct person. Also, it just gets crazy busy, so they have a ticket system to check out at the register. Make sure you listen, because your number could get skipped, like at an old fashioned deli line. For products in locked cases, they have buttons on every aisle you can press that will bring someone with an army of keys to unlock it for you and bring it to the register. The staff are very friendly and will help you with getting an item or even helping you find the box it belongs in. Will enjoy going here each time I go to Williamsburg. read more

My husband and I love visiting antique stores. Sometimes this isn't feasible with seven children. It being a rainy day on our vacation in Williamsburg we decided to try it. The second we walk in we realized we made the right choice. The store has scavenger hunt sheets for the children to find antiques throughout the mall. When they complete it they get a prize! Nice man whom I believe runs the place came up and said high and told my children, "This isn't a library you don't have to be quiet." A weight off my shoulders that my Kids can be kids and still have fun! Many times throughout our day he would come and ask the kids how their progress was. If they were having trouble he took the time to help them find the items. Hands down Best visit to an antique store ever! It's a nice store with nice items, good luck to the vendors, BUT the management is seriously messed up and in my opinion needs to be investigated by the Attorney Generals Office!! They change customers for using a change card and then double dip by charging the vendors for the customers using a charge card! At the start of the Covid outbreak and shutdown they informed the vendors and employees ( you must be a vendor to work there) that they put in and received stimulus money but they could not afford to give it to them, they said they would instead give them a 20% discount on rent. The catch was even though the mall was closed they still had to pay rent and if you pull your stuff out to try to sell it on your own then you wouldn't get the stimulus money. If you shop here please help the vendors by paying in cash. read more

Such a fun place! Totally organized, clean and with friendly staff! Wear your comfy shoes because it's a large building with much to see! They even have a little lunch-type restaurant! When we went to check out, it was a busy Saturday and we were delighted to see they had the "take-a-number" system. If you love antiquing, this spot is amazing! read more
