Place is very spacious and seating area is large and comfortable. We've only been on a Monday so not sure how busy it gets in a weekend. My husband and I got a hot dog each and they were both great as usual. The dirty fries and garlic fries are a must too. They were closed for remodeling a few weeks back so call ahead to make sure they're open. read more

Went here for lunch on a Friday before stopping by the Citadel outlets. The neighborhood was very industrial, but don't be put off by that. The restaurant was very clean, staff friendly, and the food was great. Great music inside and out. There wasn't many people here at this time, but it looked like they were ready for crowds on the weekends/evening with plenty of seating inside and out. They even had a little area for kids to play chess, cornhole, or giant yard lego. We got the LA Cheesesteak which is a limited time item. I couldn't tell there was a hot dog inside based on the picture, but there was one. The dog had a great flavor, the cheesesteak was cooked perfectly, and the sauce really made this "sandwich" next level. We also got the chili cheese fries which were amazing. The chili had an excellent flavor and was very meaty. The fries were crispy and never got soggy even until the last bite. Beer selection seemed like they had something for everyone. Would definitely go back if in the area and try something new. read more

Incredible food, service and ambience. This was our first visit and can't wait to bring friends (and their dogs?) next time. We enjoyed our Elote Dog, DUI Dog, LA Cheesesteak Dog, Asada Fries and Garlic Fries. No need to post photos because you can scroll photos already posted for days. LOVED that we could have our big dog on the patio. Oh, and the assortment of beverage, alcoholic and non-alcoholic, was HUGE! Can't wait to see you next time. read more

Came here for a small convention and it was decent I guess. Everything is super expensive and portions are small it's just that kind of restaurant. We weren't too hungry but decided on getting casada fries to share and I felt like for nearly $11 it wasn't worth it you're better off going to some Mexican place like Alberto's instead you get 2x the amount for almost the same price. They also didn't give much meat or toppings at all. The thing I liked most was as being able to get your own drinks even then the cups were the standard small cups. read more

Good hot dog. But oh my God the music inside and out is so obnoxiously loud that it kills the atmosphere. read more

Good food, good music, great customer service. Friendly environment. No complaints here always a good time each time

The food here is absolutely delicious! I love how they have so many different options. The fries can most definitely be shared the serving portion is a lot. My rating is 10/10 on everything. The birria tacos were hands down my favorite though. The drink was very good I asked the host what he recommend and he told me that drink was his favorite unfortunately I forgot the name of the drink but it was very good. I absolutely loved the vibes here. The art work was very good you can tell the artist(s) really gave it there all. The staff was absolutely great from taking orders to making the food to serving the food it was all done within a timely manner. This location is very spacious it's great for large groups and for a party of 2. I will most definitely come back to try this place again. 10/10 read more

I love that there's one in Commerce now! Super close to my work and they have such a nice set up. I got the DUI dog. Pastrami, Carne asada all on a bacon wrapped hot dog. It was absolutely delicious. Just one was enough since the portion is so much more than just a hot dog. They're super customizable too. You can even add hot cheetos to it if you'd like. The dirty esquite was also delicious. My friend said the fries were cool. I love that they have more than just hot dogs. I'd love to try their Carne asada or carnitas fries next time. The area is also surprisingly great. Super clean and I think they're getting their beer license too. Will 100% be coming back often read more

The Compound by Dirt Dog X - DUI dogs and the blend fries!! - Hot Dogs Near Me - Commerce, California

AMBIANCE: This Dirt Dog location is tucked away in an industrial warehouse area but it's really easy to find. What makes it easy to find? Their iconic mural of influential people that have helped make what Los Angeles is today. Inside you'll find a spacious area showcasing their "underground hip-hop" theme. They also have outdoor seating and are implementing new ways to gather around with your friends! FOOD: First up was their Carne Asada Tacos. These didn't disappoint whatsoever! Thick dices of carne asada with a little fat still on some pieces (something I personally enjoy), a nice warm tortilla, and both green and red salsa options. I usually go with a green salsa but their red salsa won me over. Next was their D.U.I. Fries which had super crispy, skin-on fries, topped with pastrami, carne asada, chipotle aioli, and bacon bits. These were hefty and so delicious. I could imagine how the other types of fries are. One thing I'll add to this is that the pastrami pieces weren't diced the same as the rest of the dish, so you do get long pieces of pastrami. Not the biggest deal but I like nice ratios per bite. I also ordered their Elote Dog which was put in between Texas Toast and topped with everything you would find on a classic esquite. Again, on this one I think the bacon bits is a minor overkill for me personally but overall, it was a tasty version of a street dog. I want to touch on their desserts - their churro has a nice batter to it, where it's moist in the middle but stays crispy on the outside. The winner though was the Fried Oreo. Just get it, trust me! SERVICE: One of the better places to get amazing service. From the cashier, to Miguel who runs this Dirt Dog, just every person I had the pleasure of interacting with were bomb dot com haha. I can't wait to go back here! NOTES: Outdoor seating + outdoor games + private parking read more

I didn't know this location was here. It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It's close the the citadel outlets. This spot is a good place to get lunch with your coworkers or dinner with your family. Lots of room, indoor and outdoor seating. If you love rap and hip hop music you will enjoy your food with awesome music. You will be eating and sing classics. The service was great. They were friendly and helpful. Okay, this place is good ! The staff are really friendly and the ambiance is kinda cool. I feel like it would be a cool vibe to come here at night. They have music playing and really comfy round lounge seating with huge booth seats. In terms of the food, it's similar to Dog Haus, except they give you a bit more. The hot dogs from Dog Haus feel a bit small. You can't go wrong with their OG chili dog. I think that one was my favorite just because all the cheese. The patty melt is really good too. It did have a slight hint of spiciness, but definitely not overly spicy. I think the lesson is that anything with cheese is good. Their esquite, which is basically like elote in a cup, is really good and they put enough lime juice. I wasn't sure about getting the oreos since I feel like I generally don't gravitate towards that kind of fried dessert. I did get a churro though and it was bomb. Even without the horchata whipped cream I think it would be good tbh. I'm definitely coming back here, but at night. The only con would be that it's not located in a traditionally noticeable area so it's not something you would come across randomly with driving. Worth checking out though. It has brewery x vibes! read more

Everything was on point here! Flavor, service, ambience . You usually don't expect anything much from a hot dog, but these were extremely juicy and definitely were packed full of flavor. The toppings perfectly paired with the sausages. One of my favorite items was the esquite cup! Sounds super simple but the way it's made here just hit the spot. read more

I might revisit, unsure. This place failed short. The stars given were only for cleanliness and GREAT SERVICE. Now to the nitty gritty. I ordered various items. The esquite would be nice with real fresh corn, not from a can. The bacon was so hard I thought I bit into a random object in my food. Nope it was just super thick bacon that was probably over cooked and it gave it no texture. Very disappointing. The buns are way too big and thick for the wiener you're putting in there. Please check my pictures for reference. Both the plain bacon wrapped and the chilli dog you can see the small wiener ends before the bun. That a huge pet peeve and a no-no. Buy bigger wieners. The bread is soft but it was too much bun to meat ratio. I would have rather have a regular bun. A+ for the chorizo chilli your definitely on to something. A+ for the fries crispy I came on a Sunday 1.5 hrs till closing. My food came out barely warm. So I'm sure it would have tasted better hot. Beer would have been nice, but I think they're working on that. I had high hopes when I saw a video on Instagram. read more

I also ordered the DUI dog, Pastrami dog, Asada Fries, and the Dirty Gummies just to try out for you guys. Gourmet hot dogs in a great environment. If their location wasn't so remote, I know this place would be poppin'. All the servers are so kind--willing to rush my order and help me in every which way since I usually only go when I'm on shift. I have been here many times and taken many of my co-workers because I enjoy trying a new item every time. My favourites were the patty melt or the DUI dog.
