I asked for six salsa verdes, and the boy said I had to pay an additional $2 dollars for them, even though the last time we went another customer had asked for that many and not been charged extra. When we got our tortas, the bread was burned and the "carne asada" was chopped up hamburger. Moreover, the "beef" did not taste like meat. It tasted like verge burger. I tried both the tacos de lingua and tacos de asada, and both tasted the same, like crispy, unseasoned beef. We will never return here. We don't trust them to do honest business or make a consistently high quality product. The first time we tasted the meat, it was well cooked, seasoned perfectly, and tasted like real beef. While ordering my food, I immediately noticed the adorable cow plushies displayed in the glass case near the front counter. I was so curious and had to ask if they were available for purchase. Our food came out quickly and everything tasted delicious, just as expected. The employees were all very friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our visit. After we finished eating, I finally asked about the plushies. They had three different ones available, but unfortunately the one I wanted was out of stock. However, one of the employees offered me a completely different plushie that wasn't even on display and I had to buy it lol. Overall, I had a great experience dining in. The service was excellent, the food was fresh and tasty, and I really appreciated how clean and well-maintained the restaurant was.
