Have I been relegated to immateriality? I ran across a number online, did the "diagnostic" and clicked on appointment after it failed. I fully expected no one to show up considering I just clicked on, but whole Terry showed up 45 min later. Nice! Dude reset my modem and ran some diagnostics and after an 1+ - all was well. 5 stars for Terry. 1 star for Xfinity. I'm a half step from moving to Verizon.

Today 7/14/2026 was no different, I saw David I believe is the in store rep outside and asked him could he help me after his lunch and he said yes. Needless to say DAVID saved the day! What I was unable to get done on the phone thru AT&T first net David took the time and fixed the problem. I can't remember their names but there were 2 others reps there (male and female both with dreads) who were equally just as pleasant and we had a great conversation about movies. The manager was not hovering over the employees but actually allowing them to do their jobs which is always a god look. Consumer Warning: Do Not Hire FixTman LLC (Washington, D.C.)…read more I would strongly caution anyone against hiring FixTman LLC for TV mounting or installation services. I hired this company through a referral from BJ's Wholesale Club, expecting professional installation. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had. The technician arrived and spent 4 hours mounting my TV. Less than 10 minutes after he left, the TV fell completely out of the wall. After I contacted the company, the technician returned with his father and reinstalled it. That should have been the first red flag. The TV was installed in September 2025. In April 2026, the TV fell out of the wall again -- this time causing serious damage: * Destroyed my TV * Damaged my wall / sheetrock * Left me with additional repair costs I contacted FixTman LLC again, and their response was that they would do nothing because it had been more than 30 days. To make matters worse, Thumbtack Quality Assurance also stepped in and tried to help resolve the issue on my behalf. They contacted FixTman LLC directly, only to be told the exact same thing -- that I only had 30 days and they would not take responsibility. Let that sink in. A properly mounted TV should not fall out of a wall -- not once, and definitely not twice. This was not normal wear and tear. This was poor workmanship, improper installation, and a complete lack of accountability. In over 40 years, I have never seen anything like this. Please do your research before hiring this company. I will also be reporting this experience to BJ's Wholesale Club, since they referred them. Service was scheduled quite quickly as requested, but the back and forth between FixTMan, the…read moreactual contractor that did the work was a little wonky, as the contractor would tell me one thing, but the company would say something different. I appreciate the role which FixT serves, but with Yelp as the solicitation platform, it admittedly seems like another unnecessary middleman to go through them. The contractors did miss some minor things with our playground assembly, and unfortunately the price came in higher (without notification), despite my providing the exact model and steps required for assembly at the time of soliciting. The insurability and lack of comprehensive quality guarantees is a little off putting in the end, as even other entities that exclusively use "independent contractors" such as uber, still have additional protections in place for the end customer. Overall, they were good, not perfect. The process was wonky, but worked (for the most part) in the end. I just would prefer to go directly to the contractors in the future.

He was able to place the mount onto the wall with no issue, however as he was about to mount the TV, it slipped from his hands and fell to the floor and shattered. We plugged the TV in and it no longer works because it's so damaged. There are glass shards everywhere and on top of that he caused damage to my apartment as well. There are pieces of TV lodged onto the wall that I can't get out. I had indicated on the form that I cannot help to lift the TV. I am not capable of lifting something this heavy. However you guys did not read the form and you sent only one person to do this job!! And clearly he wasn't able to do the job because the TV fell because apparently it was too heavy for him and my TV got damaged. My TV no longer works! This is so unacceptable, he didn't even apologize. He instead tried to blame it on me. I had told him that my TV was mounted at my last apartment for 5 years. This is 1,000% his fault. And HelloTech is taking FOREVER to refund the broken TV and damaged floors! AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

They were flexible with me possibly having to re-schedule my appointment at the last minute if the cable equipment had not arrived on time. The installation team arrived at the time promised. They were polite, clean and professional. They used shoe covers, which I appreciated. I bought my own bracket and they were very familiar with it. They even uncrated my 85" TV from my move, which required them unscrewing wooden boards -- much more work than simply opening a cardboard box. Then they measured precisely, putting guide tape on the wall that they removed without leaving any marks. They also cut a hole on the wall behind the TV to run the power cord behind the wall to the outlet near the floor. The work was professionally done and looked great. They ran all the cables along the bracket, which was important because the bracket and wall would be visible when I pulled the TV out and swiveled it to seen from the kitchen, dining room or the living room. The whole process took under an hour and they didn't seem to cut any corners. The estimate was not the least expensive I received, but I felt the thoughtful questions they asked before I even accepted their quote, indicated the attention to detail that I wanted -- and I was right. I can't say if all their teams work this well, but the one that came to my house was exceptional.
