I love using Direct Laundry. I've been using their services for a few months now, and I find them to be extremely reliable. My items come back with a great fresh scent, and are handled with care. I also find it convenient that I am able to text Direct Laundry to schedule my next pick up. Best laundry service in Hoboken! read more

This is the WORST dry cleaner I have ever been to! They ruined my very expensive skirt by putting two giant pins through it to attach it to the hanger, and now there are two giant holes in the skirt that cannot be fixed. Also, I dropped off a white cotton button-down, and they returned it to me with black stains on the collar that weren't there before, and the shirt super wrinkly. They also over charged us the first time we went there, although they did eventually refund. I don't know where all these positive reviews are coming from, but they ruined my clothes. read more

The most offensive, poor quality treatment and service I have ever received not just at a dry cleaner but at any establishment where I was a customer. The manager, Tom, is dishonest and incompetent. Direct Laundry destroy (5) Five of my dress shirts, admitted to it, and then did nothing to reimburse me for the damage. Tom was so inexperienced and incompetent at his job that he first apologized and said my shirts were "butchered" and then he came back and said "they look fine to me". Buyer beware for anyone who is misguided enough to think that they will receive quality care and respect at this ratchet shop. Happy to post pictures and text message conversations with the owner if necessary. That is how badly people need to be warned of this awful, awful dry cleaner. It is an utter shame Tony Q's closed down and was replaced by this most unreputable, sorry excuse for a dry cleaner. With so many cleaners in Hoboken, do yourself a favor and skip this one. read more

They haven't gotten a single order right since I started using them. They've ruined a number of my shirts and 2 silk ties with iron burns. Every time I get hanging clothes back, I need to re-iron them because collars are ironed in the wrong place, pockets are crushed, or things got wrinkled after being laundered because of how they transport their orders. One time, I got an entire order back smelling of cigarettes. After denying it, they told me the driver had been smoking in the car, but refused to refund it. I spoke with the owner 4 times about my past order, which he kept promising would be taken care of. Finally, when I asked when he'd be picking up the stuff that wasn't laundered properly, as he'd promised he would do, he yelled at me saying, "There are no guarantees in life. I don't need your business." read more

Damaged a RL Purple Label coat by destroying all the suede trim and patch. Took 1.5 months to fix. Their fix was drawing all over it with a sharpie. Still charged me full price. Un-fking-believable. read more

Direct Laundry & Dry Cleaning - Supposed to be navy suede, but then they drew all over it with sharpie. - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Hoboken, New Jersey

Direct Laundry is a fantastic service you never knew you needed. Door-to-door delivery of all your wash & fold needs. Who really enjoys doing laundry? Treat yourself. Your time is worth more. Direct Laundry has a great team all around from the delivery men to the managers. Always with a smile on their face and happy to see you. The (new) owner delivers a client service that exceeds expectations. I had an issue with a recent order and he immediately made it right. Great customer service is rare nowadays, which is why I felt the need to write a review. I highly recommend! read more

I've used them twice. The first time, laundry wasn't ready when I went for pick up. I received it about an hour later after some back and forth. The next time, the laundry came back promptly, but included several articles of something else's clothes including leggings and two pairs of underwear. I would not go back because of that. Positives were that they did do a nice job of folding and clothing smelled nice. read more

Direct Laundry has finally solved the dilemma of finding a reputable laundry and dry cleaning service in Hoboken!! I scheduled a pick up on Sunday for Monday morning and received a text from Tom saying he was in the area and could pick up the clothes sooner if I was available. Unfortunately I was out of the house already but I was soo appreciative that he reached out to ask me! Monday morning he called prior to pick up and delivered later the same day with my clothes perfectly laundered, folded and smelling sooooo fresh! I can't tell you the amount of times I had clothes supposedly "laundered" only to open my bag and question if detergent even came into contact with my clothes!! Direct Laundry is a fantastic company with great customer service that delivers on what they say they will provide!!! They have just gained new client who will do nothing but spread the word about how great they are!! read more

No complaints from me. Staff is friendly and I haven't had any issues! Once in a while I'll get a shirt back a little smaller than I left it, but that's what happens when you don't do your own laundry and can't pick out things to air dry. I believe you can ask for that but it hasn't bothered me too much. I hate doing my laundry and don't want to spend a day at the laundromat so this is a great option read more

Uniquely convenient laundry delivery service with friendly and quick-to-respond employees

If you are like me, you're getting too old and tired after a long week of work to spend your weekend in a hot crowded laundry mat in Hoboken! As I was planning to go to my usual laundry place, I noticed a sign on the telephone pole for Direct Laundry advertising free pickup and delivery! I called Tommy the very next day and he promptly picked up my laundry and delivered it the very next day! My laundry was clean, folded neatly and smelled really fresh! He was even able to get the smoke odor out of my clothing! Needless to say I am one satisfied customer! I highly recommend Direct Laundry! They are professional, courteous and reliable! read more

Having used Direct Laundry over a year. Have not any issues with the service. Pickup and delivery have been on time and clothes came back clean. if I called about an issue, would at least get a callback Not sure it is because I don't live in Hoboken and "does not deserve the same service." I don't know what happened. The most recent order was delivered a day late without a call or any explanation. The clothes came back dingy, the colors of my oxford shirts now look like they have been worm for years even though they are new. Whites. Don't send!! when I did I could no longer wear them due off-white old looking Could be because they changed detergents to a cheaper brand. HEARD the place was "under new management" Whatever it needs to fixed. I will no longer be using them If I could give no stars I would read more

Absolutely the worst experience I've had at a wash and fold in NYC area after 3 years and two moves. DO NOT go here if you want your clothes back on time or returned the same way you left them. The owner is rude and sexist, and attempted to intimidate me by backing me into a corner after a dispute about the company dying my white shirt. (They advertise that they separate colors btw) If you're wondering why the ratings are so high, take a look at the dates. They have not had one positive review within the past year. Stay away from this business. read more

We've been using Direct laundry for awhile. Underimpressed. A lot of our items come back shrunken and they clearly throw whites and colors in together. Nothing comes back clean looking and my recent whites were stained. read more

Great fabric softener, tight folds and spot-on customer service... Unfortunately living a mere three blocks from the site, pick-up and drop off times couldn't be met in the 2 weeks of business I gave.... Too bad. read more

Very fast and friendly pick up and drop off service. Website is easy to use to set up pick up time. Will definitely use them again.

I live in Jersey City and I found this laundromat through delivery.com. They came right away to Jersey City and brought my clothes back the next morning. Tom was so pleasant and he went above and beyond to get my laundry back to me sooner than expected. My clothes smelled so good and they were folded beautifully! Their rates are awesome and the customer service is great so I suggest giving them a try. read more

I used to always do my own laundry, worrying that if I sent it out something would get lost, ruined etc. I am so happy to have found Direct Laundry. I send my things away without a worry of any of those issues. The staff are all friendly and accommodating and I couldn't ask for better pickup and delivery service. I am so thankful for Direct Laundry! read more

I haven't tried every laundry service in town. But I love direct laundry. The smell of the clothes lasts the entire day and you smell soooo good and clean. My sheets and towels smell amazing for days. The pick up and delivery is basically free. Couldn't ask for more. I'm very very pleased. Plus you can pick low heat and click on all the items that are special. Duvet, sneakers etc. it's a step above the rest. Try It. read more

Direct Laundry has been a game changer since I've moved to Hoboken. It's convenient, fast, and affordable compared to my closest laundromat (plus who wants to schlep their laundry to and from a laundromat?). My laundry comes back neatly folded and after a long day it is a relief to just have to put it away. Tom is very friendly and is great about answering questions when I call. A great service and I'm so happy I found them! read more

They were super friendly and helpful. I have never had my laundry done for me with a wash and fold service, and I felt very comfortable leaving my clothing here for washing. The manager or could have even been the owner sought me out when I picked up my clothes to let me know if I am ever unsatisfied to let them know immediately. read more

Direct Laundry just opened across the street from me. I dropped off a few items to be dry cleaned, and I was very impressed. Great prices for the area and great service. Highly recommended!! read more

Been using direct laundry for a while now. They are fast and deliver in 24 hours when requested. If you have more than just standard wash and fold like me, they listen to instructions well as long as you clearly lay it all out for them in a text, email, or on a piece of paper. I give them my natural detergent to keep there and use for my laundry only. Tom, the owner is very open to hearing any concerns or questions you may have about delivery or their services. When there are problems (which I understand are sometimes unavoidable) Tom is very responsive and quick to come back to pick up any items that are in question. I continue to use them bi-weekly for all of my laundry needs. read more

Every time I have used them pieces of clothing were missing. I have also gotten other people's clothes with my laundry. The incompetence is absurd I have already told all my friends to stop using them as they have had the same issue There are other wash and folds in town stay away from this one read more

Quick, professional, and efficient. The price is right and the service is superior. Everything comes back neatly folded. HUGE time saver. Highly recommend to anyone in the Hoboken area. One year later update, I still consistently use them. This past week I accidentally dropped something sentimental and beyond irreplaceable to me in my laundry bag. I did not notice this until hours after I dropped off my laundry. I called them first thing in the morning in a panic and the entire staff went ABOVE AND BEYOND to retrieve my item. They kept me posted as they looked for it and it was found and returned to me so quickly. So not only a great service, but also phenomenal customer service. read more

They do a good job with wash and fold laundry and have a seemingly friendly helpful staff. Minus stars for losing my blazer and providing what I felt was an unsatisfactory resolution. I was wrongfully delivered someone else's hang dry items and they were appreciative of me letting them know. My advice would be to use their services paying careful attention to what you drop off to make sure you get it back. read more

The best laundry in Hoboken. Super accomodating customer service, fast pickup/delivery, very reasonable prices on both wash & fold and alterations. read more

I can't speak highly enough about Direct Laundry. For to door service! I love it. Prices are competitive and the quality and service are way better than the rest. Great addition to the neighborhood. read more

Gave a 5-star review initially but I really have to lower that now... I've used this pickup service for close to a year and it was pretty good until the past few months. A few months back I got 2 pairs of pants that shrunk, and the last time I used the service they were complaining because I asked for a few things to be hang-dried (to avoid the aforementioned shrinking)... also they lost one of my shirts and I just realized that one of my hoodies got shrunk too. I hate to give them a bad review because Tommy is a cool guy, but that's way too much clothing that I've lost through them and it's unacceptable. Never using this service again. read more

This review is for the delivery service. My delivery was not received the evening it was supposed to. No one was available to help me understand what happened so I had to leave a message and wait until morning. A nice lady called and said she would research what happened. To my surprise when heading to work I find my laundry was just left downstairs outside of a secure area, not even officially in my building. I didn't receive any calls regarding my delivery. This was very disappointing and was not the type of service I received previously. The whole point of paying a premium for a delivery service is to actually get the items delivered to your door and not left where anyone could take them. This may not be their typical service but I don't plan to take a chance again! read more

Awesome service!! They made laundry time a breeze. Just call up and they will take care of it all. Prompt pick up and delivery. They definitely earned my business. I have tried most of the cleaners in Hoboken and this one stands out by far. Working 60 hours a week doesn't leave much time for anything else, especially laundry and dry cleaning. These guys are worth every penny. I don't even have to leave my apartment. Keep up the good work. Welcome to Hoboken!! Thanks for a great job!!!! read more

Laundry is never back late, it routinely comes back on a faster turnaround than expected.

Will never go here again- my husband and I dropped off two bags of laundry. One bag was wash and hang dry only, which THEY labeled as such, this bag contained several expensive articles of clothing. The other bag was wash and dry as normal. We received everything back in one bag, immediately felt everything that was supposed to be hung dried was dried as normal- and I was right. I have about $400 of clothing that are destroyed and shrunk beyond wear because they were dried. They made such a HUGE deal when we initially dropped off that they will definitely hang dry and that they do it all the time. So so ups read more

They shrunk one of my really nice sweaters when I told them not to. Also hung it on a hanger so the neck and shoulders are all stretched out. It fits very weird now and I don't think it can be fixed. It's unfortunate because I liked the service that I got. Just beware. I won't be going back here because of my sweater. read more

The manager "Narisa" has no customer service skills at all. My laundry was ruined by whatever heavy chemicals they used even though I have them my detergent to use. My wash and hang dry was a total mess. I send hangers with my laundry. They decided to keep my hangers and put my clothing on thin wire hangers. #nowirehangers read more

Tom and the team are super! They are very considerate and helpful in getting our wash and fold/dry-cleaning picked up and delivered on time. The prices are a little pricey but seems to be comparable to the area. read more

Direct Laundry is hands down the best dry cleaner in town. They're professional and meticulous, and take great care of your garments. The entire place is clean and well-run, and the staff is AMAZING.
