I would not use this company again. The salesperson told me the boards needed to be replaced and…read morequoted me for that work. When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

He steared us toward quite mid grade carpet at best. When carpet was delivered installer advised that he wasn't sure we would have enough. Reality was that we did have enough for probably a closet or small room. After the install we immediately noted visible seams in the middle of the room and damage to the drywall base on new drywall in my sons room. We called Yanceys and the installer came back out and said that there was nothing he could do about the seams and that the carpet looked like "different color" to him. The salesman advised at that point they would get the manufacturer involved and that's the last we heard from them. Regarding the drywall we were advised to "get a quote to fix it and as long as it's not outrageous we will pay for it". I've never dealt with a company that just really doesn't care. Very disappointed and would not recommend them at all. I will not work with them again.

1 STAR IS 1 TOO MANY!!!…read more Pros: Jodi is very nice. Final install looks good, although there was a 6 foot stretch of carpet in my loft that literally came right up while vacuuming. Luckily I knew how to fix it. CON(man): Steve Rozak, the owner. Dealing with Steve Rozak worse than dealing with the shadiest used car salesman on the planet. Every word that came out of his mouth was a senseless lie. My girl Mary, left a very detailed 1 STAR review on Google, so I won't repeat everything. The important thing to know is, if Steve promises you ANYTHING.... HE WILL NOT FOLLOW THROUGH, EVER!!!! By far, the worst "businessman" I have ever dealt with. While Steve told me SEVERAL lies throughout the ordeal, here are a few examples: Typical Steve Rozak B.S.: The crew of 6 or 7 guys that he was bringing to "knock it out in 3-4 hours" , chaged to, "I've got 2 guys coming from Deerfield, and 2 guys coming from Indianapolis", to the actual crew of Steve and Dennis (Dennis is cool). LIE: "I can definitely have your carpet in by Christmas." FINISHED INSTALL FEBRUARY 8TH. LIE: "I will be there on Sunday (FEB 3rd), with 6 or 7 guys to knockit out." (We emptied every room 100%, and removed all old carpet and pad) HE DIDN'T BEGIN INSTALLATION UNTIL FEBRUARY 7TH, and it was just him and one guy. finished on the 8th. Do yourself a HUGE FAVOR, and avoid dealing with Steve Rozak at all cost. He turned something that we were extremely excited about into an absolute nightmare.
