My bulldog Bella came out so beautiful clean and happy !!! I love it and I'll be back again and again!!!!!!!

I have been looking for a groomer who could get it right for 2 years now. I finally found her at Dippity Dog. Cece, the owner, cut my goofy Shi tzu exactly how I wanted him. He looked better than I ever thought he could. PERFECT! I'm so happy to have place I can count on. Close, convenient, and I know my dog will be treated well. Thank you so much. Best ever grooming we've had. Will be a regular for now on. read more

Dippity Dog - My dog Easy chilling after his grooming at Dippity Dog. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Oceanside, California

Like most dogs, mine hates bath time! Unfortunately, he has skin issues that require me to give him 2-3 baths each week... which has been a nightmare! Someone at the dog park recommended I try bringing him here to make the process a little easier. I AM SO GLAD I DID! As soon as we walked in this morning, the staff was so helpful! They walked me through every detail and shampoo/ conditioner option and helped me get him up into the tub (he did NOT want to go up that ladder!) She checked on us every so often to see if I needed anything else. I will definitely be returning! Thank you Dippity Dog!! read more

REVIEW ON SELF SERVICE DOG WASH ONLY: We had a great experience here. My sister took my mom's dog and I took my dog here on Christmas eve. The front desk girl was great. She was very helpful and informative. My sister has relatively no experience washing dogs and the girl showed her what to do. I even learned some tips! They have complimentary shampoo, a spray leave in conditioner and perfume for your dog. They also have towls, brushes, a a blow dryer at your disposal. For an extra fee you can get special conditioners that specialize in either flea, de-shedding, etc. I chose the extra desheder conditioner for 3 dollars I think. Totally worth it! My sister chose the basic option but has a vizsla mix so shedding isn't an issue. She was happy with the basic option (14 or 15 bucks total) read more

Great place great service. I have a 3 year old dog and a senior 10 year old dog that needed steps to get in and they were very accommodating to both. Everything you need shampoo, brushes, towels, ear cleaner, dryers and much more! For such a reasonable price. Will definitely be a regular customer! read more

I love these guys. They're incredibly patient with my big wimp of a dog, who screams when the vet puts their stethoscope on his side or when anyone tries to trim his nails. My pup's always come out fresh, clean, and all the way dry (other groomers I've tried always leave him wet even though he's a short-haired dog). The prices are more than reasonable too (they're even more reasonable if you do it yourself, but if you've got a dog who's like mine, it's worth the extra cash to not have to deal with him screaming at the top of his doggy lungs). The only thing I don't care for is the kennels that they stick him in after he's done being groomed. They look like they're just the plastic crates that you buy at petsmart or whatever. Really, they're only bad because my dog isn't crate trained and whenever I come to pick him up all I can hear is a loud thumping of him trying to get out of it. read more

Worst grooming ever. Told them I did not want him shaved short. I said he has matting. I stated I did not want him shaved. They asked me to sign saying I understand he has matting. The girl said they would do their best. Told me about two hours. I returned to the shop, and he still was not done. I waited another hour. I asked if they had even started, they said yes left and after talking with my wife, who told me to return and pick him up. When I returned, I saw him on the grooming table getting shaved down - no effort to remove matting. Left very upset and sent my wife to get him. When she arrive, he was crated and would not come out of crate. He is a very friendly and happy dog. The groomer had to put a towel on her hand to drag him from crate. After arriving home, my dog would not leave his crate with exception to eat and to go to the bathroom. He was constantly shaking ears and biting his rear. Took him to the vet three days after the shaving, who said he was shaved improperly/tools, had a poorly expressed anal gland, and in shock. Which was causing him overall discomfort. He had inflammation of the follicles and was giving steroids for a week. All this being said worst grooming ever!!!!! Almost 3 weeks later, he is finally his loving self. read more

Dippity Dog is the only place I will take my yorkie to get groomed! I have been taking my dog Brody here for a while now to get groomed with Casey and he absolutely loves her. He looks so shiny, fabulous and happy after his appointment. I am always so satisfied with the service he receives! The staff is also very nice and willing to hear what you want for your dog :) read more

I was searching for a groomer for my labradoodle. After reading the reviews I sent a message to Dippity-Dog. The owner Cees responded promptly and I was able to get an appointment for the next day. When I picked up Addison I was pleasantly surprised with how great Addison's cut turned out. I will definitely use her service again and would highly recommend Dippity-Dog. read more

Cees has assembled a friendly, professional, and helpful team at Dippity Dog. I dropped Bowser off and a couple hours later, the dirt was out of his ears and from under his fingernails, his nails were trimmed, and his teeth were as white as when he was a little pup. I wish I had before photos-- he isn't a disgusting beast, but after weeks and weeks of playing in the "mulch" at the dog park, swimming at the dog beach, and generally accumulating filth, his coat was course and uneven. Right now, he's soft, all his knots are combed out (which he somehow gets with his short coat), and he is so shiny. When he was ready to go, I got a call from the team and showed up to a happy, clean dog wearing a sweet little bow tie (really lovely touch!). Overall, we had an excellent experience at Dippity Dog, and we'll be back soon. read more

Dippity Dog - So fresh and so clean, clean. Also, please look at the bow in his collar. So cute!! - Pet Groomers Near Me - Oceanside, California

Great experience, it was a little more expensive for a bath than my last groomer but it will be a lot cheaper for a haircut and bath once the days start getting warmer. Cees is incredible, Ginger absolutely loved her, I've never seen her happier and I don't know what kind of shampoo she uses but Ginger has never felt softer. I definitely recommend this place weather you want to do it yourself or go for the full treatment. I should also point out that the trim that Cees did was perfect to keep Ginger's tail, legs and feet cleaner when she goes outside...and I should point out, while I said the bath was a little more expensive than my last groomer I got so much more for my money it was well worth it. Also after her last experience Ginger has been very reluctant to trust strangers but she really seems to like and trust Cees and the rest of the staff, so I trust Ginger and you should too read more

We had multiple people recommend Dippity Dog to us. So glad we tried it. My Lab came home feeling and smelling so good. The owner and her daughter were so nice and loving towards Roscoe, giving me ideas to help with his itchy skin. They truly care about the animals! We will be back for sure! read more

$14 for me to bathe my Lab here instead of mucking up my bathroom and entire house when she sprints around rubbing wet fur everywhere? Yes please! I went on Sun afternoon and there was only one other dog there. The girl working there got us stairs and helped me coax/lift my dog into the tub, got her toes up in the tub ashowed me where everything was. I brought my own shampoo but used the towels and blow dryer provided. I was pleasantly surprised that my dog seemed to like this more than being bathed at home in the tub or shower. Maybe it's because it's open and I don't have the door or shower curtain up? She also didn't mind the blow dryer at all which was shocking. Totally worth it for no clean up! Also there is a coupon on the website for $2 off for first time customers! I will definitely be back! read more

Came here after traveling across country. At first was unsure how the service would be based on previous reviews, but there was only one girl on staff and she was more than helpful. Made recommendations based on each of my dogs coats. Tubs are used for sure but water was the perfect temp, dryer air was warm, soap is diluted but suds up just right and is thin enough to get through my girls dense coats. We will most def be back as the price is on point for what you get. Hopefully all the staff in the future will be as nice as the staff we encountered. read more

We went to Dippity-Dog for the first time with our corgi mix on Saturday afternoon. The place was uncrowded and the two attendants were VERY helpful in getting us up and running. They showed us all the features and items we could use which were included in the price. We took our dog in for a trim and the associate was very professional and very personable. He took his time and made sure we liked the results. The dog looked fantastic when he was finished. We are very impressed with this store and will visit often. read more

I am from out of town and was watching my sisters dog when she was sprayed by a skunk. The service here was accommodating and friendly. Used them a couple times always have had a great experience but the last time seemed like they didn't do the greatest job. I have an adorable but very old Bichon/Pomeranian and desperately needed a full service grooming the day before we left on a RV trip. I called several area groomers and everyone was booked. On a whim I wrote Dippity-Dog on Yelp, hoping they had a groomer in addition to their Self Serve component. Within MINUTES the owner, Cees wrote me right back and said while they are booked, she would squeeze Jersey in at 12:30 pm and she would groom her personally. I drove the extra few miles to her shop, grateful for her accommodation. Upon my arrival, I found Dippity-Dog clean, the employees friendly and very welcoming. Cees greeted me by name, started immediately showering love on my Baby, Grandma dog, Jersey and told me to call anytime during her grooming to check in, or to feel free to stop by, or just to go out for a couple hours and let her do her magic. I had a relaxing lunch with a friend and, as if on queue as we were wrapping things up, Cees called and said my Baby was done, did well and couldn't wait to see me. I walked into the shop to see my pristine little girl, all clean and perfectly groomed for Summer and sporting a dashing pink bandanna! As she spun around in excitement, wagging her tail in pride, Jersey was thrilled to show off her new do! I then saw Cees smiling behind the counter, knowing she had done a very special deed for someone she had never met...yet who will be forever grateful for her kindness, expertise and care. THANK YOU CEES. WE WILL BE BACK! XOXO read more

I had a wonderful experience at this dog wash station with my dog Molly. I help take care of my 88 year old Grandma's 108 pound golden retriever/ bernese mountain Dog mix, Bubba. I've tried to do my best to maintain Bubba's long curly coat myself and even took a turn at using clippers to give him an "adorable" hair cut. The outcome was terrible. After three hours of labor, Bubba suffered an incredibly uneven hair cut along with razor rash which resulted in infection, expensive vet bills, and weeks of medicated washes. After deciding that Bubba didn't deserve to go through all of that again, I searched out the professional help of Dippity-Dog Self Serve Pet Wash and their Professional groomers. I have now been a customer of Dippity-Dog Self Serve Pet Wash for well over a year. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable about pet care, proactively helpful with the self-wash, and fairly priced. I pay a bit extra because Bubba is a very large dog with a long coat and I genuinely feel that their services are worth every penny (especially after trying to do it myself and realizing how difficult it really is!)! Every time we leave Dippity-Dog, Bubba is clean, trimmed, and happy! He looks like an entirely new dog! I highly recommend Dippity-Dogs! They run a professional establishment with friendly staff and groomers and I could not be more thankful for the help they provide Bubba! Many thanks - Bubba and Keri Ann read more

I've been coming for years with my dog Sally, doing the self wash and a cut and groom by staff. Sally loved it, got a bow every time and a treat. Unfortunately two years ago at 17.5 we lost her to old age. She was a great dog, boarder collie and a lover. I just got a new pup, another boarder collie and today she will get a wash by me. I hope Kota likes it as much as Sally used to! read more

I've had multiple friends warn me about going to this place in the past and I defended it, but after my last experience there, I will be joining them in boycotting this place for good. I was given a Frequent Customer card to log visits and receive a free dog wash after I filled the card up. When I filled the card up, I was expecting a free dog wash, but instead was given ANOTHER card to fill up and told that the freebie would be honored when the second card was filled up with more visits. I paid for that visit and was hoping to clear up this issue with the owner on the next visit. When I explained my experience to the owner, she scolded me and raised her voice accusing me of not remembering that she verbally told me a year ago that there would be another card to fill out. First off, this is not the only business I have frequented in the last year nor are they the only frequent user card in my wallet, and secondly, it is unrealistic to give a card with X number of visits to fill up to a customer and claim that their verbal contract from a year ago trumps what is in writing. When I continued to discuss this manner in a legal sense, the owner threw her hands in the air and said, "oh! here we go!" and turned her back on me and stormed off to the back room not wanting to face the reality of a disgruntled customer with criticism of her business and it's policies. If you are going to own a buisness in this country and employ "bait and switch" tactics when operating your business, you need to grow up and be an adult and deal with customer comments both positive and negative about your actions and speech- not react like an immature teenager when a customer is coming to you with an issue and turn your back and walk away from the conversation. The owner's condescending and direspectful attitude towards this customer ruined anything good that might have come out of this business and ensured that I will not return to be treated like that ever again. The self-wash grooming market has a lot of competition- check out your other choices in the North County area if you are considering this place. read more

No more scratchy smelly dog. Everything was great. The shop is less than 5 minutes from my house, I will definitely come back.

Loved this place! I got tired of my German Shepherd mix destroying my bathtub at home with all his hair shedding as well as using gallons and gallons of water, and the mess when he gets out of the tub! This place offers everything you need to do it yourself without the clean up or the cost in water bills! For just over $11 I was able to wash him and dry him up in half the time it normally takes me at home. The staff is very friendly and helps you out with everything if you're unsure with what to do! I admit that sometimes I need a little help with my mutts' grooming, my dogs can be picky about who cuts and cleans their nails and hair. Thank Dog for Dippity-Dog. They do full service grooming all at a price you won't growl at. Of course, if you feel the need to wash them yourself, they have a number of personal self-wash tubs for scrubbing your furry family member. Great staff hard working and very friendly. At the Carmel mountain store. I would recommend pet owners to go there.

I recently relinquished possession of my Walter doggy to my sister. She has a big yard and a whole orchard for him to chase weasels and lay in the dirt. He's crazy for that stuff. He loves it so much that when they rigged up a backpack for him, he even helped them pick citrus fruit. (See my pics!) At home, I couldn't even put a paper bowl on his head to wear as a hat, let alone make him do any kind of work. Regardless, being a migrant worker is dirty business. So, when I visited last weekend, I had to show my sister how to bathe the mutt. At home, he will struggle until his death before he gets in the tub. Being 140 lbs, you can't just pick him up and put him in the bath. So, doggy wash it is. He acts a lot more gentlemanly in public. Jerk. The staff working here was very friendly and helped get Walter in the tub. The only real downside is that their tubs are way up high and they have to give you this ladder/stairs thing for your dog to climb up. I'm actually surprised my dog went up without trying to commit suicide first. I imagine that next time wont be so simple, now that he knows what's up. Also, the tub walls aren't very high... so, you really have to watch your dog so he doesn't make an escape. Other than that, it's a pretty great set up. The water is warm and each tub has it's own station with brushes, shampoo, and your own blow dryer. The doggy wash I used by my house had only one blow dryer and you had a 20 minute time limit when others are waiting. Walter is a fluffy beast and takes longer than that to dry, so he'd often leave a bit damp (and still stinky.) For a nominal fee, the staff will also step in and do things that you can't or don't want to do (anal glands, anyone?) The groomer cut Walter's nails and didn't even give him a panic attack. After his visit he was so soft and fluffy, and he didn't smell like an ape. It was especially hard to leave him. :( read more

My groomer Cees at Dippity Dog always does an amazing job. They allow for me to drop my dog off first thing in the morning, get to her right away, and do an amazing job. My dog is 14 and has moles, other groomers aren't careful and nick the miles, but Cees never does. She cuts my pup exactly like I ask, perfectly round face, short ears, short even hair, and a bow at the end. She comes home happy and clean and smelling great. Dippity dog groomers are sweet, they do a great job, and they have great prices. Highly recommend. read more

We love this place for self serve dog washing. We have a big black lab that sheds quite a bit and an older lab/Beagle mix both harder to bathe at home. We can do it in the house when it's hot out, but with the cooler weather it's great to come and use the self serve tubs and leave the hair behind! They give you a basket with a brush, shampoo and towel. They have aprons you can wear to try to stay relatively dry. Bring baby shampoo for your dogs face though, as the one they provide is not tearless. I also bring my own flea shampoo. The staff is super nice and the owner Ceec is really friendly and helpful. Susie, the assistant is really a doll, super helpful and nice. I come once a month read more
