Cute spot - everyone was taking out but clean, minimal decor and nice mural. First day of soft open - we waited patiently with throngs of others, everyone being quiet and understanding the newness of the business. 45 minutes later we raced home with our precious steaming bag emanating fried aroma and were not disappointed! The slaw is tasty, the sauces different and surprising (in a good way) and my favorite were the bone-in wings so huge I definitely couldn't eat all 5 myself lol Boneless wings were moist and obviously had been brined/soaked - so full of flavor I think the sauces added saltiness that wasn't needed. The crunchy coating flavor is still lingering in my mouth and I hope it stays for awhile. Only downside they were out of the sammich and the kimchi fried rice - but hey it's the first day! See you soon!

Decided to try this local place and wow they didn't disappoint. Food was so good. Chicken was fresh with the right amount of crispiness. Dipping sauces were awesome: we ordered additional side dishes and price was pretty good for the amount of food you get. We had take out but there were no little packs of wet napkins which we suggest you guys at least add those to the take out orders. Overall great food and we'll definitely come back for more. Yes we recommend !! Nice friendly environment with great customer service. Give it a try.

No. Everything was old. The chicken sandwich, chicken bites (kids meal), cole slaw was old I didn't even eat it. The only thing that was edible was the fries. Please don't waste your money. Look at the dried crusted up end of the old chicken. The kids meal looked promising but it was leathery, hardened, tough to chew, while other portions were fatty. The Cole slaw was slimey- very clear it was left out or made a while ago. Absolutely so disappointed to drive out to a new spot and literally threw it in the dumpster. I don't feel this food was safe to eat.

Tried out this Korean fried chicken spot and was pleasantly surprised--everything was pretty delicious! The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and cooked just right. What really impressed me, though, was the presentation--everything was boxed up so beautifully, it felt like unwrapping a gift. You can tell they take pride in their packaging, and it really elevated the whole experience. The variety of dipping sauces was a nice touch too. Most of them were really tasty and complemented the chicken well, though I wasn't the biggest fan of the ranch--it just didn't hit the same note as the others. I also tried a Dalgona treat for the first time. Besides realizing I wouldn't have made it past round two on Squid Game (my candy cracked immediately), it actually tasted great! Sweet, light, and a fun little nostalgic moment. Definitely a place I'd come back to--and next time I'll be more careful with my candy.

I highly recommend the kimchi fried rice and cheese corn, the chicken is ok not the typical Korean fried chicken you'd expect. The sauces pictured were also just ok I tried the miso ranch, Korean galbi and gochujang. I recommend the plum honey mustard one.

I ordered two miso ramen with a load of add-ons to go following the epic snowstorm... it was positively delicious. Broth was balanced, savory and had the perfect aspect of heat... pork belly was cooked to perfection and I love how they prepare the perfect tamago (egg). A special treat is the saki flight-- Hayro is very well versed in his tasting note knowledge and origins of the featured sakis and was ultra kind, consistent with his execution of dynamic cocktails behind the bar. Love the ambiance, music is always on point and the bar set-up is ultra inviting... I prefer that over sitting in a booth. Rafael, the manager, was ultra attentive and very gracious towards me as a waiting patron... he even surprised me with a little KFC Bao which was absolutely magical with the sauces provided! Professionalism 10.0 and so endearing! I would recommend double checking your to go orders, especially if the order is a bit complex or heavy on the add-on factor (my cabbage was left out but I believe it was substituted for a larger order of greens)... but Betsy was polite and patient amidst me being a picky foodie in my ordering process! I threw an order in for delivery through Uber Eats while I jumped in the shower. Took 30 minutes to arrive, the food was piping hot and presented beautifully, despite the foil and plastic containers. Overall delicious. The Saigon egg rolls are served with a Vietnamese dipping sauce fresh mint and lettuce wraps, and they were light and crispy and all the flavors together incredible. The KFC bao bun was a little on the dry side, but had a satisfying gochujang glaze with crunchy pickled veggies nestled in a soft pillowy bun. Kimchi fried rice was bursting with flavors and the creamy yolk from the fried egg added a velvety richness. There was a nice presence of bacon, fried shallots and scallion. Overall perfect. Excited to try the Ramen and Pho sometime!

The shop looks small from the outside, but once you step in, it's surprisingly spacious. Clean, well-lit, and nicely laid out. Comfortable for dining in. We were seated immediately. Our hostess, Amber, was very patient and helpful since it was our first time. We decided to order a little bit of everything, and that was the right move. We went with the five-piece drumsticks, split half soy garlic and half Korean BBQ. The chicken is double-fried, which gives it an incredible crunch on the outside while staying juicy inside. The soy garlic was savory with a touch of sweetness and very well balanced. The Korean BBQ had more heat and bold flavor, coated in a sticky, sweet-spicy glaze that keeps you going back for more. The meal came with coleslaw, which honestly surprised me. I'm not usually a coleslaw person, but this one worked. Lightly sweet, creamy, and refreshing. It paired well with the chicken and helped cut through the richness. We also ordered the seasoned fries, and they were excellent. Crispy, well-seasoned, and topped with garlic, parmesan, and parsley that actually added flavor instead of just looking good. Easily one of the better fry sides I've had with fried chicken. Everything came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with care. If you've never had Korean fried chicken before, Bonchon is a great place to start. I'll definitely be back.

They came warm, soft, and coated in cinnamon sugar with a sweet cream dipping sauce. Honestly some of the best donuts I've had, they were fresh, warm, and delicious. I'd come back just for those alone. I heard their fried chicken is good, so I'll definitely be back to try it. But those donuts? 10/10. Would absolutely recommend.

The decor is a lovely authentic izakaya with the wood paneling and everything. It's a beautiful homage to Japanese culture. Ok now menu. Lunch there is great but recommend going for the dinner menu over anything to have more options! The addictive cabbage is just as it says, addicting. It's acidic, savory and has the perfect crunch to it. The crab Rangoons are sooo good. They give you plenty of sauce and you can tell it's the good crab. The cold sesame noodles are perfect! A little bit of heat, a bunch of flavor. I'm drooling just thinking about it! The chili dumplings were good but a little too spicy for me! We also really enjoyed the kimchi carbonara and personally, I'm a sucker for udon noodles! And now the star of the show for me and something I've ordered three times now! The crab fried rice! The crab is so tender and buttery, like it actually melts in your mouth. And the pork belly chunks in it, also tender and delicious. I like dream of this dish every week! And the great thing is you can order the half size during dinner so you can try other things too! This spot is in my top 5 for 2026 so far! Please go try them asap!

The crab fried rice has nice large chunks of lump crab. The salmon don buri was light and perfectly cooked. Mochi was perfect. The only recommendation for Kawa Ni is to turn the lighting up a touch. Literally every table around us was using phone flashlights and the candles to read the menu which took away from the experience because the flashlights were going right into our eyes lol.

I mention an…read more"older man", because it was the description that fit the best as you are not a "younger man". I see you do not take criticism well. With that said, as a business owner, you should be ashamed. Your response is very unprofessional. Let's be clear, my review wasn't written out of spite. I spoke the truth. I don't go around bashing small businesses. I support them. But this experience deserved honesty. The mention of "video footage" was odd, are you implying some kind of threat? Because yes, we ate there. That's why the review exists. If anything, I hope the footage captured how disappointed we were and your gawking eye as I walked by. Food was not on par with the pricing and we both got sick that night. We would have gladly paid any price if the food was amazing. It simply was not. We took 6 takeout containers because we couldn't justify paying $180 plus tip for the bad quality we had, but it went into the garbage anyway. We tipped 20% bc we are not assholes and even with the food and service not being great. Bottom line, it is not the cost, it is what it's worth. Disputing the food only not the service, bc the servers still deserve their pay. But keep it. Saying you had 50 take out orders that's why you were too busy to tend to our table is absurd as we watched our server going back and forth with nothing in his hands many times and did not check back in until we had to call the bus boy over to get our check. There is no excuse. That is poor service. Are you in the restaurant business or not? The server brought out that many containers when he saw how much leftover we had of each dish. It's great that your regulars love the wings and mandu. My bf actually liked the flavor too, but this was his first time at a Korean restaurant so he didn't know any better. Mandus are known to be big juicy dumplings. If you look at the picture that's an over fried gyoza. I'll say it again, the wings-dry, mandu-dry, bonchon-lacking most places do way more. We didn't want a refill on the bonchon. We got violently ill that night. I haven't written a review in years nor do I care to, but for this I had to. I did dispute it, bc the more we thought about when we arrived home we became more upset. But keep your money, though. This review is enough. Do better.
