I found the duck and sausage gumbo to be incredible. The spice was perfect, for my taste, and I'd order it again in an instant. I also enjoyed the empanadas - they reminded me of Jamaican beef patties, and I really enjoyed them. Their preparation of red snapper was perfect, in my opinion. Their draft options are limited, but the staff was very helpful in choosing other drinks. They had two different bartenders in my visits, and I believe both tried very hard to make me happy, even though I was just a random walk-in. They had quite a few locals who got to-go orders during my visits, and everyone seemed very happy with their food. Desserts are all homemade, and are good, and very large, even if not what I would traditionally call by the same name. Bread pudding was outstanding, but the cannoli was closer to what I would call a creme horn. In all, I would certainly return, and strongly recommend the duck/sausage gumbo. I'm

The process to paying is interesting but you can figure it out. Some people called in orders but she seemed a bit busy to deal with this. Shrimp poboy is good but the shrimp are a bit small. I think I would go back for a standard butterfly shrimp plate. The bathroom smells very unpleasant.

I was in town for work and came here three times in two days. I've lived in New Orleans so I know good fresh boiled crawfish and this place delivers. Very flavorful crawfish. I got regular level of spiciness and it was plenty spicy so I don't need to know what it tastes like if you order it extra spicy. Not only that, but their shrimp is freshly fried and tastes fresh and from the gulf. And the okra was hot and freshly fried too. Delicious meal. Service is friendly and nice, and food usually came out under ten minutes from when I ordered. Got charged different amounts each time I went but it wasn't a big difference.
