Last year, I proudly named Mudbugs my pick for the Best Crawfish in Mobile, and to be fair, they're still holding it down when it comes to juiciness, flavor, and size this season. That said, I have to talk about quality and cleanliness. I pulled way too much seagrass out of my bag, and I had five straight tails (if you know, you know)--which usually means they were dead before boiling. For this price point and reputation, I expect better attention to detail. My Breakdown: * Flavor & Size: 5/5 * Cleanliness & Quality: 2/5 Still love the flavor and the heat, but consistency matters. I'll definitely be back--but I'm hoping next time I won't have to sort through seaweed and dead crawfish.

I got regular level of spiciness and it was plenty spicy so I don't need to know what it tastes like if you order it extra spicy. Not only that, but their shrimp is freshly fried and tastes fresh and from the gulf. And the okra was hot and freshly fried too. Delicious meal. Service is friendly and nice, and food usually came out under ten minutes from when I ordered. Got charged different amounts each time I went but it wasn't a big difference.
