Spectacular experience! Achieved what is known to be a quite difficult fashion color to accumulate: rose gold. My stylist, Desiree Vargas, was by far the best stylist I've ever had. Being a color specialist, Redken trained professional, & previous color instructor, Desiree was for sure the best stylist I could've had to help me get a color I've wanted for years on my thick, curly, virgin black brown hair. I was astounded by the results of her efforts and was overjoyed to have not only the color I wanted, but also the perfect shade of the desired color. In addition to this, she greatly educated me on how I can care for hair damages I previously had, as well as even the sciences of how coloring hair worked! I had the best afternoon yesterday. I had booked a color and cut with Tabby and could not have been more pleased with the results. I was a brassy over processed brunette and now I'm a gorgeous Champaign Blonde! Tabby was just the sweetest. We chatted about what I thought I needed and because of her expertise I also listened to what she recommended. She shaped up my old hair cut and gave me a new fresh stylish cut. I highly recommend Dions South. The decor of the salon is elegant and the atmosphere, inviting. I have found the staff to always be hospitable, friendly and helpful. Having dark hair, I greatly appreciate the application of color being consistently natural looking and blending in well. I've been very happy with the excellent hair products they use, and I love that I can always count on getting a great haircut! When I injured my neck, they bent over backwards to accommodate my needs and comfort. I have been a client at Dion's South for years and always had wonderful service but my last appointment went above and beyond. I discovered that one of my most precious and sentimental earrings had been knocked off and washed down the drain during my shampoo. The bowl was immediately shut down for other service and they had a plumber there within minutes to take the sink apart and retrieve my missing earring. All at no expense to me. My trip to Dion's was a good experience. Great customer service and good cut. However I was told that bang trims were free while I was there, but upon return a month later for the service they tried to charge me and then made me feel like I was getting a special circumstance when they agreed to not charge me. When I returned the next time to get my cut freshened up the stylist did not take her time with me. I felt like the cut was rushed and and mediocre. I will not be returning again. read more

Cindy Link did a color melt for me. I went in with full highlights and I wasn't happy with my root line. I told Cindy what I was looking for and she knew exactly what to do. The color melt is definitely a timely multistep process but it is perfect for not having a strong root line and is low maintenance once you have it done.
