Their locations are familiar and comfortable, perfect for friend and family gatherings; for visits the hark back to times past and present memory building. We love the culture of service and kindness of the employees. They are consistently supportive and welcoming. We love the crust options so my wife can have original and I can have the thinner and crispier gourmet. So many options for salads, sandwiches, breads, and pizzas. Dion's is so good-family friendly, great service, great food. Aside from their fantastic pizza, I love their turkey and provolone sub (great with green chile!) and their salads! Really everything on their menu is good, and the dressings bring it all to the next level! Ranch, Caesar, and Greek are my top 3 favorites dressings. read more

Wow this location constantly disappoints. I picked up 2 slices and the two pieces together were basically the size of one you would normally get. And it was cooked too long and bad. Usually single slices are much bigger. Last time 2 times I was here the quality was awful, felt rushed, and most of the time when you order online the pick up time is not valid and you still have to wait 15+ extra minutes. I remember waiting 25 minutes after I met my pickup time from the online app. All they offered me was a free soda. This location is a joke. Tha management here needs to figure it out read more

We absolutely love Dion's Towne/University location To order online is always seamless and there's very little wait if ever ... all the young customer service personnel, extremely bright and cheerful. I did have one problem with the menu. We wanted a thin crusted all meat pizza, but couldn't find that as a selection on the take-out menu. $28 for a large All-meat pizza is a great value! read more

I want to commend Joshua the manager of this store. I accidentally ordered my pizza's at the wrong location and not only did Joshua move the order over to this location, I watched him help make my 4 pizza's then he walked all of the pizza's over to my car. While I was waiting he also offered me something to drink. You don't get customer service like this anymore - Joshua is an asset to your company. read more

I have been going to Dion's since I moved to Albuquerque over 30 years ago. I went to the new location on Universe NW yesterday for 2 slices of pizza and my favorite Ranch salad. The Italian sausage pizza was inedible - old, crusty, dried out sauce; just overall bad. My salad looked and tasted great and I really like the romaine/spinach mix. A couple of hours later though, my GI system decided it had enough. The likely culprit was the lettuce and tomatoes. The grape tomatoes, cut in half (Dion's are we getting cheap with tomatoes?) tasted like they weren't quite ripe and smelled chemical but I chalked that up to vegetable wash. Regardless, I have to give this Dion's location a less than 1 star review and absolutely will not be back again. read more

So I moved from New Mexico back in 2020. But when I come to town Dions is always one of the first places we stop. I grabbed my favorite ranch salad and cheese toast. I was extremely disappointed with the cheese toast because it looks like it was from the bottom of the bag or it was the last piece used. read more

Second time here, first time ordering online. The order was ready at the time specified, and the drive thru was pleasant. Small chicken Cesar salad was ok the chicken chunks were good size and moist. The Cesar dressing was watery and weak flavored. Some grated parm would have been nice. Thee pizza slices were ready and oily. The Italian sausage pellets looked like the kibble I fed my dog earlier this afternoon. The sausage had no flavor so I just removed them. I had ordered onions as well for the pizza but I guess they forgot them. This is not only the best deals Pizza City you have to say it's the best pizza in Albuquerque. The general manager gives it his special touch keeping everyone operating as a team I worked in a piece of parlor in my youth and I have to say that the consistency has remained the same since the first time I tried Dion's the 19th '83. I have to give a shout out for Dion's on the west side near Cottonwood mall. The service is refreshingly amazing. From the moment I walked in the door halfway across the restaurant I was greeted with the "welcome to Dion's". Halfway through my meal, the young lady who took my order came by to see if I needed a refill or anything else. Way to go Dion's you're doing it right. And of course, the food/pizza is delicious. Quick turn on a large order 32 pies in 35 minutes. I brought in a diverted airline flight into ABQ that ended staying on the ground for several hours. When we decided to get food for our 160 pax Dion's was the name the local station said would hook us up. They were right, and Dion's kicked out 6 different pizzas for a total of 32 pies in 30 minutes. Quality product and our paxs really enjoyed the different variety that Dion's was able to provide. This place use to be good but they placed "managers" with no actual experience to handle anything. I placed an online order 40 minutes before I got there my sub and salad were ready and they told me to wait for my pizza. I look at my sub and they put the two things that I asked them not to so I go back and have them remake it and I'm ignored for the first 10 minutes there everyone just keeps walking by not acknowledging my presence. Finally, the lady comes and I tell her what happened and she doesn't apologize nothing she just like will remake it. The sub that comes out doesn't have enough meat on it. The bread is burnt and I'm still waiting for my pizza. I waited almost an hour for a small pizza, and I kept having to go up and checking and finally after the third time checking the had placed my order on someone's else's and realized it was mine. I look at the pizza and it is burnt. I finally was so frustrated of waiting and asked for a refund and now had to search for dinner plans last minute at now 8pm. All the "manager" said was sorry nothing we can do, and "we can remake everything and have you pay again. Extremely frustrating with customer service and overall quality of the food is the most disgusting part. read more

Best Pizza and Ranch Dressing in ABQ. I visited this location from Phoenix, AZ. Clean restaurant, friendly staff. Pizza slices are HUGE, and the green Chile ranch is out of this work amazing. I love Dion's. For me it has always been a place our family went after sports games or events. However, the last few times we've gotten pizza the bottom is always burnt. Doesn't seem to matter which one we go. The bottom is over cooked. In the past we would call, get it replaced and go back. Tonight I'm just to tired. Came here because I told it is a MUST to try while in town. There is a guy named John who works here who is so uplifting and positive. John for President lol. The food was good. Staff were friendly. I only gave four stars because the area is kind of sketchy. There is a bus stop right outside and when I was there, there were a lot of police officers patrolling the area since a lot of homeless people like to hang out in this area. read more

Dions food is quite good when they get your order correct ! The problem is that they always make mistakes when it comes to getting the order right! For example, we have to order no cheese pizza for my son who has a dairy intolerance and they constantly make it with cheese just about every other order! either that or if you order more than 3 ingredients the pizza ends up being soggy because, they don't cook their dough long enough...feeling like they've been in business long enough to work out the kinks.
