Dion's is such a staple of New Mexico that I sometimes forget it's local. Over the years, they've perfected a highly efficient call-in and online ordering system that keeps wait times to a minimum, making it easy to grab a meal even during busy hours. What keeps me coming back, though, is the consistency. The food is reliably good every time. Their sub sandwiches, for example, are made with fresh ingredients and served on crisp, flavorful baked bread that elevates the entire sandwich. Whether you're picking up lunch for yourself or feeding the whole family, Dion's continues to deliver quality food and convenience that have made it a local favorite for decades. And don't get me started on the ranch dressing. It's the best ranch dressing, hands down. I recently read an article about foreigners trying American ranch for the first time and being amazed by it. If they started with Dion's ranch, it would absolutely blow their minds. read more

It seems like everyone in Albuquerque goes nuts for Dion's Pizza. My dad really likes it so we came here for a late lunch. There is a little observation deck with steps so that you can see the pizzas being made through the glad. That's pretty cool. The decor is quite dated, but very well maintained--very 80s with Tiffany style stained glass light fixtures. Were ordered a large pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and green chili, an Italian sandwich, and a turkey and cheese cheese sandwich. I didn't taste the sandwiches, but they looked really good, and I was told that they were good, too. The pizza was deeeeeeeelicious! The reasons I knocked off a start is that we had to wait for players (paper) because they weren't stocked, the wait to get a refill drink was sooooo long. Also, they keep the bathrooms locked--someone with my group almost peed there pants waiting for a key! read more

I wouldn't even give them one star. This is the poorest management of any company I have ever seen. They don't care about customer satisfaction. If an order is made wrong and they don't take accountability for it they expect you tot only wait for it to be remade but to pay for the own errors. This has happened to me many times coming to this location. The manager doesn't understand what customer service or customer loyalty looks like. She's terrible. At the location on Montgomery and Morris I had an order that was made incorrectly and not only did they not accuse me of ordering it incorrectly, they didn't even ask. They instantly remade it and took it off my bill even though I asked them not to. That location knows how to keep a customer happy. It's much further from my home, but if, and that is a big if, I choose to go back to Dion's I will choose this location because that management knows what customer service looks like. read more

I suggest you order ahead via phone otherwise it's a long wait. The pizza was amazing . We had the hand tossed crust. Like pizza we've had on the east coast read more

I've lived in Albuquerque for almost 7 years now and I have yet to experience better customer service at any other establishment. 10/10 they were attentive, kind and helpful, I'll be coming back regularly just because of the amazing staff! read more

"General" manager Adam was a total asshole. Came out and said he was cancelling our order because we refused to pull up when we arrived early for our order that we had already paid for. I've dealt with enough locations that will promise an order "on time" while sitting there beyond service time I wasn't going to move from the window. Let's see if this refund goes through because he was even refusing to give a receipt. Shady manager and will never be returning to Dion's. I guess supporting local means supporting trash business read more

The service at Dionne's Pizza is absolutely fantastic. Been going there for several years and always and I mean, always have polite courteous, great service. Don't know who trains these kids, but the rest of Albuquerque should go there to learn how to give great service, the food is also excellent. My dad's favorite place for Pizza. Answer subs are really good. They get the chicken caesar salad family size , and it's got lots of chicken , not just a couple crumbs read more

These thieves just tried charging me $30 for a medium pepperoni. Prices for medium pizza shouldn't be this high at all. This is robbery.

Dion's is my daughters favorite pizza place. So if she is in town you can bet there will be one dinner night with a family salad and pepperoni pizza. I can also guarantee there will be one going home with her when she leaves. I will be honest Dion's isn't my favorite but I love their salads with Ranch dressing. So here I am waiting for my pick up time. The app is super easy to use and makes this convenient since it's on the way home. read more

Great pizza, service is good enough. Our visit was spoiled by screaming children, not by the pizza.

Sad to see a Filthy Dining room at 3PM. Quality isn't the same, iI hate when places you loved as a kid lose the allure and nostalgia of the deliciousness and expectations you were used to. Oh well everything these days is sadly sub par from Before Covid. Let's all Do Better. I don't mind the costs going up as long as it's what I remember... I guess o meed to find my next pizza experience. Dions will still be hard to beat. I won't lie but.... read more

Ya know, one might make the assumption that due to this particular location's location it would be, dare I write, a $hithole? However, to the contrary, we were really impressed with how nice it was inside. No one would ever know what part of town they were in if they didn't look outside occasionally. Nevertheless, let's talk about the pizza, shall we? It rocks! Hello! However, everyone knows this, right? I mean, if they don't, they've just never wandered into a Dion's. Look, do yourself a solid, order the "Carnivore" with extra cheese and you'll be in true carnivorous bliss! It's that good! I promise! Cheers! read more

Dion's on Central & Elizabeth SE is the place to go. The food is excellent and I have never had a bad meal there. I use the convenient drive-through service and have never actually gone inside. Mega kudos to the training staff, no matter who I deal with on the other side of the window, they are always friendly, cordial, and the look on their face tells you they are happy to serve you. read more

We always order from Dions, a real favorite! However, the medium chef salad I ordered had no meat and no hard- boiled egg. Pretty disappointing as I drove quite far to pick up. read more

As usual, great service and a good product. Ordered pizza for pickup. Loved it. No line for pickup and the pizza was essentially a meat lovers! read more

Dion's is a local favorite and it doesn't disappoint in terms of quality and value! During Covid, lines would wrap around the parking lot bc they were so busy. Dion's is a family favorite bc you can get huge tasty pizzas and large salads to feed a family of 4+ under $50! I enjoy the local favorites like Green Chili and Pepperoni and just plain Pepperoni. Their crust is the perfect crispness and thickness where the toppings are full but don't slide off from being soggy. We've only had Take-Out for convenience and now Covid, so that's impressive that the pizza still tastes pretty fresh. It also helps it's like less than 5min away. Reheating the pizza in a toaster oven is still just as magical. The only con for me is that their salads are great, but when they add the croutons or crunchy noodles inside the containers, they can get kind of soggy. But I could ask next time to put them on the side. I haven't asked yet, so I'll see. Also, the salad with the edamame is my fave, along with the raspberry vinaigrette. read more

This location has gone downhill so badly the past 6 months. The last pizza I got wasn't even edible - nor was it even sliced! It was just slimy and undercooked. I emailed to complain, got a fake butt-kissing response and was offered a complementary re-do. However, the general manager who contacted me, Griffin Quigley, never responded when I told him the order I wanted re-done. I guess their crappy service rolls from the top down. Seriously, a Kroger brand frozen pizza is way better than this slop and a lot cheaper. Too bad, Dion's used to be excellent for lower-end pizza but it's just a waste of money now. read more

Oh Dion's such a New Mexico classic. Green Chile on everything!! Pizzas are good but not out of this world they do seem to be a big hit and may love the pizza. The pineapple with green chilies is an interesting one for sure worth a try. The pineapple really balances out the green Chile. The sandwich's are where it's at for me! The veggie sandwich is sooo good! It does come with mushrooms but you can ask them to leave them off, which I do of course. You can sub out anything veggies or kind of cheese you want. I usually get it with extra olives and no mushrooms or tomatoes and provolone cheese it comes with green Chile and it's so good too.. I've been converted.. what can I say, gotta add green Chile! What makes the sandwich is the dressing that comes on the side that you poor over the sandwich as you eat it!!! sooo tasty!!! You can get fruit as a side or chips, there might be another option can't remember... they are very generous with the chips. Service can be hit or miss, I have gotten my sandwich made with all the things I asked for it to not come with but not a huge deal, I just take it off. Service is usually friendly and fast though! read more

Local Pizza chain that does a darned good job. As soon as I saw the parm and hot pepp shakers, I knew we would be fine. And rollin' into the ABQ in the evening, we were grateful they were still open. Folks were all friendly, and the place was clean. Prices were great. A 16" basic cheesy is $11.70. And let me tell ya, the pies are bigger than the advertised size. I tried their 505 (pepp & green chile), and ordered a 14". It definitely exceeded it's radius, and was mighty good. Another great deal is their family-size salads for$11.95. We ordered Chicken Caesar, and between four of us we couldn't finish it. Obviously, we took home quite the nice snack for the next day. Great job, Dion's... read more

Really good pizza and subs. There must be 15 people working behind the counter and only one person working the register. When a person is taking 10 minutes to order how about opening another register for the folks now piled up in line. Nope just cold pizza by the time I get it. Needless to say the service at this Dions is atrocious. Dirty lobby when we walk in and something resembling vomit rite in front of the entrance. I'll stick to other locations which are amazing. read more

I love Dion's. We are here for a few days and had to get our Dion's fix ;) We ordered a large pepperoni and green chili pizza and a family sized salad with ranch dressing. The pizza was huge. We had plenty of food to go around for the four of us - as well as leftovers. The food is always amazing and well priced. For $28 we feed the four of us and will have enough for dinner. Food: I ordered the small (12") pizza and paid $10.25. The pizza is called "The 505" and includes pepperoni and green chiles. A New Mexican specialty! The pizza has plenty of toppings. The crust is hearty, with w crunchy exterior and chewy interior. This pizza rivals anything made by other pizza chains like Pizza Hut and Domino's, and given a choice, I would select this one! Drink: Sweet Iced Tea has a nice balanced flavor--not too sweet! Cost for a large drink is $1.95 and pitchers are available for $4.30. Service: Order at the counter, pay, and they call your name. It takes about 20 minutes for the pizza. The Service personnel are courteous and efficient. Ambiance: It's a fairly large place (similar to a Pizza Hut in size), with many tables and booths. All tables were clean and an employee was constantly clearing tables, filling napkin holders, etc. Summary: Good food, good service, clean dining area, and good prices means 5 Stars from me! Highly recommended! read more

We love Dion's turkey and Swiss sub sandwiches! Great bread, turkey, veggies and Greek dressing. Yum! Also love their tossed and Greek salads. My family loves all of their pizzas. I think they are good but prefer a little more tomato sauce on my pizza. Great prices and service and always fresh. Good value for the money. read more

Busy, efficient, friendly, well-oiled, well-run, professional machine. Passing through, lucked into picking this spot for pizza. Had the "Original," pepperoni and green chiles - excellent. I order from Dion's several times a month and it's usually very good. The only complaints in the past have been the long line (which is not Dion's fault, I know they're just that good!) or that sometimes when I get there, they haven't even made my order and I've had to wait longer than expected (this doesn't happen so often that I want to stop going). However, I've noticed lately that the price of my usual order fluctuates every time I order it. It's the same exact order to the person on the phone every time but when I get to the window the cost of the order is always a different amount and I never know how much money to have ready. This never used to be a problem until this month. I check the receipt and the order is always registered differently. Sometimes I get charged an extra topping cost for ordering something on the side and sometimes its registered as having ordered 2 sides. One time they were charging for an extra pizza that I never ordered! I'm finding this increasingly inconvenient as I usually have the money ready before getting to the window and now I'm having to hold up the line even longer because it wasn't the same price as it was the last time I ordered. read more

I know my pizza and this place is pretty good. Great customer service. They accidentally burned my pizza, but they bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. Would definitely go back. read more

Like elsewhere, service has gone downhill. Perhaps with the legalization of marijuana (I don't know). Order on the app and they tell you to pick up your pizza and salad in 30 minutes. Then you show up and the suggested time and your pizza slice is cold because it was probably ready in 15 minutes like they used to tell you. Then you get back to your office only to find out they didn't put your salad dressing in the bag, no napkins, no fork. Seems like a recurring theme on the reviews here. I wish they'd quit apologizing and fix the problems. read more

Always been a fan and never had any problems in any of my visits. I am also a worker at the location and I work with amazing staff

Ingredients are always fresh and service is always great. They work hard inside here--always a ton of workers managing multiple orders.

It's Dion's, an Albuquerque staple. So what else can I say? Great pizza, a number of great salads, green chile ranch you'll quickly get addicted to. However there's a few annoyances. I order online to make for a quick lunch. I select "Dine-In". But why bother asking? Half the time I'm given my food in Take-Away containers & a bag. Save yourself the money for the containers, save me from having to dig out my meal from a bag and eat it from to go containers in the restaurant, and since you changed your trash cans, it's harder to every thrown away. Then your employees need training in something as simple as loading a napkin dispenser. I can't remember the last time I saw one correct. Upside down, backwards, the napkins & holders are actually designed to be loaded a certain way so you're not trying to dig out the napkins. That short side should be faced outward and up so you can grab it instead of claw at the block of napkin. read more
