Huge selection!
Pete B.

Great place for breakfast and donuts! The selection is huge, and I got 2 dozen for the Soldiers....huge hit and great way to show your staff you care. All were fresh, the coffee was great....what more can I say, treat yourself if you are in the area!

Great donuts. Specialties go for $2.50 each versus $2.25 for each of the classics. They pre-pack by the dozen or you can pick your own. I've never had a bad donut here. This is my favorite donut shop in Anchorage. They make it pretty clear they prefer cash. What business doesn't?

Came here for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised let surprises with the huge selection. I'm not a huge yeast donut fan but cake donuts are one of my favorite things, I was so happy to see they had so many different flavors. I brought them to work and everyone loved them.

Well I went in thinking I'll get like 2 or 3 donuts. But ended up with a dozen! Don't know how that happens. Was looking at the different options and said I can't just do a review off of one donut. So I ended up with a dozen specialty donuts. The price per donut was unmatched. Tried the maple with nuts, blueberry filled and the Apple fritter. The maple was delicious, but wished it had a bit more glaze on it. The donuts are so nice and fluffy. The blueberry filled was surprisingly great. Nice soft outside and great jelly filled inside. I'm glad the filling did not run out of the donut. The Apple fritter had too much of a cinnamon taste. Couldn't really taste the apple in the Apple fritter. Over very great donuts to satisfy your cravings. And to get a cheat day on your diet.

A dozen doughnuts we brought to a morning meeting: Dino bones, chocolate cake, maple raised, and old fashioned.

The doughnuts here are top notch. We have friends who come from Massachusetts every summer (where there seems to be a doughnut shop every 2 blocks) and they claim these are the best in the country. They sell a great variety, classic and more modern takes. I love cake doughnuts (pumpkin, maple, devil's food, cherry...), one son loves old fashioned, and the other members of my family tend towards raised (Dino bones, bacon maple, custard filled...) and donut holes. There is something for everyone, flavors change for seasons, and the quality is good. I once created an October stampede at work by announcing I had brought pumpkin cake doughnuts from Dino's... they were gone in 5 minutes. This business allows pre-orders, I've seen them deliver, and they have offered donut decorating parties to children. I feel they could use a little more seating and they have a lot of turnover in counter employees, but the doughnuts are very, very good.

The search for a perfect blueberry cake donut continues. Unfortunately, Dino disappointed on this end with no blueberry cake. They redeemed my taste buds with a delicious maple bacon glazed donut. There were fine little pieces of bacon crumbles on top and a delightfully sweet glaze underneath. I couldn't tell if the bacon bits were freshly crumbled bacon or not, but if they were, well played! The service was impeccable. They had three people behind the counter and they were on the ball. Even though there were four or five people in front of me, they had me in and out in less than 2 minutes. Very clean with cool posters and signs throughout. Also, they serve more than just donuts. I saw salad, sandwiches, and more. If only they had a blueberry cake donut....

I called in my order from California to send donuts to my brother in Anchorage for his birthday. Dino's succeeded in delivering a huge surprise to him. Thank you Dino's for delivering such a special birthday gift!!

I door dashed 1/2 dozen donuts the other week for an afternoon pick me up. They were delicious! They were all assorted so I didn't know what I was going to get. But the ones I tried were all pretty good and the donuts were a good size. My daughter devoured the sprinkled donut! My fave is probably the glazed donut. Will definitely order again!

Donnie is for sure a local favorite. When asking locals where to pick up donuts for my staff in the office, everyone pointed their finger in 1 of 2 directions. The new fancy Krispy Kreme and Donnie's, opted for the later. They have regular size donuts and super sized versions. Locals also enjoy coming here for special espresso drinks and the such. Coming from Dallas where there are individually owned donut shops every 3 blocks. These were par for the course. They were very sweet but you can tell they are relatively fresh. Typically would rate it 3 stars but gave it 4 stars as it's unique to Anchorage and one of a couple around.

I test donuts shops on their Apple Fritters. Dino's Donuts, your Apple Fritter is AMAZING. It's only taken 4 years to find a place in Alaska that I like. Also enjoyed the other donuts I tasted from our dozen mixture.

Love their doughnuts. Usually what the boss brings in to work. So glad they DoorDash just wish there was an option to choose your own dozen. Strawberry is my fav rn (not pictured, didn't come in the dozen this time)

My doughnuts were tossed in the box. And the "supervisor" because the boss is out of town for the week is completely disrespectful

Better than a grocery store donut, but far from the best donuts in ANC.

Dino's donuts are by far the best in town. Prices are a little higher but it's worth it. Love that they deliver.

I want to start by saying this we don't have a go to donut place but one morning months ago we went…read moreto *another* donut shop and when we got there they were sold out. At this point we had already promised our kid a donut so we drove back to Wasilla and came here instead. They were low on donuts at the time but we got several cronuts and I wasn't all that excited to try them but man I was wrong. They were delicious. This has become our go to spot. We stopped back in the other day for the apple cider donut and pumpkin donut as well as a few usuals. The woman working the window was very kind and helpful. The prices are completely reasonable. The pink building is fun and eye catching. The best part? They truly make an effort to serve the community. Not only do they make delicious donuts but they do their best to keep the donuts in stock past 6 or 7am. They also make a point on Facebook to encourage customers to make large orders ahead of time so they don't run out for everyone else. Good food. Good people. Good business practice. We will continue to support them!
