This restaurant is incredible. The food is awesome, and the service is even better! We were there yesterday, and I have a cold, the waitress we had was not the same one, but the one we had yesterday cam and sat by us and asked if I was feeling better today! I have NEVER had service that that anywhere. My husband had their 1/2 fried chicken special, $7.50!!! he couldn't even finish it! I had a bite , it was delicious! We now have a wonderful place to stop on our way to Kansas City! It is worth going in to town and sitting down instead of hitting the fast food chains!! read more

Typical small town Main Street diner. Could use a little spiffing up and time for a massive spring cleaning. Waitresses were all in a hurry with business as usual. The food is scrumptious. Wonderful, simple diner with awesome food. We were visiting from NY to drop off my dog to a local dog trainer and this diner was recommended. After a great breakfast and a look at other nearby dining options, we returned for a great dinner. Will return to Dino's the next time we are in Missouri! If you're looking for diner food, look no further. This is where the locals eat, a bit off the beaten path but real close to I-35 and Hwy 36. Huge portions cooked hot and fresh, fast friendly service, Big Bang for the buck, seriously. Hubs had corn beef hash,eggs and pancakes, very happy with portion and taste. I had tenderloin sandwich and soup. Tenderloin was exactly that, SO tender, and served piping hot. The soup was a creamy spinach soup and pretty good. The menu is huge so something for everyone, I would think, and they were hopping busy but service was still fast and efficient. We'll probably head up there for dinner sometime just because sometimes you know, you just need diner food. Hubs was not a fan of the coffee, but came back to the table from paying the check shaking his head at how reasonable it was to eat there. Nice! read more

This is a great place! My sister and I were in Cameron for a show choir competition and happened upon this place. We ate at Dino's for lunch and it was so good they had our dinner business as well. Both meals were very good and it's much more than a typical diner. Breakfast is served all day and they have a great selection of sandwiches, wraps and salads. Steaks, fried chicken, ribs and shrimp on the dinner menu. I had meatloaf and mashed potatoes and my sister had hot turkey sandwich. Dinner was fried shrimp and a chicken Philly. Their carrot cake is the bomb! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. If you want some good comfort food, this is the place! read more

Great place and lived up to the hype! There was 6 of us including my very, very loud 3 year old. Everyone was very tolerant of him and I can't appreciate that enough. The BLT soup was my favorite. I was starving and over ordered. I had the mushroom, the potato skins (yumm), my kids had the kid's breakfasts which were very generous portions ( I thought they were the adult plates) and my husband thoroughly enjoyed the hot tenderloin smothered in gravy. This diner is open and airy inside, the staff is very friendly, and the food (breakfast for us, served all day) was GREAT! Hubby had the omelet, with hash browns that were just perfect -- still potato-y on the inside, crispy on the outside. My eggs, pancakes, and sausage were piping hot and delicious. We had a great experience. Arrived in the middle of a long car trip with kids and broken car charger. Hostess graciously let me charge phone. Food was fresh, fast and homemade. For instance, delicious vegetable beef soup that contained generous chunks of pot roast. Even my pickiest child loved her meal. Would go back and hope to do so. read more

Great spot. One of the few breakfast places in Cameron. Just a few blocks off the interstate. This location has had several tenants, none of which worked out. Dino's has figured it out. They will be here for the long term. Breakfast was really good. Eggs, hash browns, and breakfast eats top notch. Complete menu with something for everyone. Home cooked was really good. Easy to get to from highway. Service is the only complaint I had. Seems like everyone was having an 'off day'... including no toilet paper & no soap. Clean, good service..it is our regular stop on a Friday night... typical dinner food...but they make really good fistlh, gyros, and even good barbaqie ribs, nothing on there menue is expensive... they have home made soups and there all good... 4 stars only because ...well they are not fancy and there a dinner so there decore is lame...LOL food is worth it. read more

Grandson's recommend place to eat after a day of fishing. Arrived around 5, seated right away, orders soon after. Place was pretty much empty. Kid had a sweet tea, full rack ribs, hashbrowns, salad and a milkshake. I had Chicken Fried steak, mashed potatoes sweet tea and a salad. This kid rowed us across a pond back and forth for 4 hrs today and he could not finish half of the ribs. He did eat and drink everything else. All I could do to finish mine. I had the Dino skillet and my kid had the pancake, which was quite a good size. The skillet was very filling, lots of food there. The place is clean and has a good atmosphere. We enjoyed it. Didn't have a chance to try the many pies, which looked good in the display case. read more

Checked this place out because of Yelp reviews. We were staying in Cameron for one night. Wow!! Very cozy place with great service and really good food. Ordered the chicken strip dinner expecting a couple of small strips. They brought out five big strips battered just right. The gravy was also excellent, as was the corn. Thinking that corn was locally grown. If the free hotel breakfast doesn't pass muster we'll be going back here in the morning! read more

There's a reason the place is often busy. The prices are reasonable. The food is good and you get a lot of it. The staff is friendly and helpful. In fact, I accidentally and unknowingly dropped my Chapstick on two different occasions and the owner brought it to me before I got to the cash register both times. He is obviously very attentive. The recent fried chicken shout-out on Yelp prompted me to share a secret: Dino's has fantastic fried chicken. If you are ever in Cameron, or on your way between KC and Des Moines or other points north, it is totally worth it to stop in for the fried chicken. It won't be fast, so order a salad or some other appetizer to help you wait. And if you have room, you should finish up with a slice of one of the cakes in the glass case. They are not made by Dino's--can't remember the bakery but you can order whole cakes and pies at Dino's. Like the fried chicken, they are worth every calorie. read more
