MANAGER LIED I ordered $35 worth of tea from them off of Uber eats & waited & waited while it said they we're preparing my order. After a hour of waiting I called the location, after the 5th phone call I finally got a answer & asked to speak to the manager. I told her that I was waiting over a hour & she said they never accepted the order because they were busy. Mind you I already received my food order I placed after I placed this order. She then said she was so sorry & that once I received the order there would be a gift card with it for our next visit & THEY CANCELED THE ORDER. We stopped here on our way home from LA. We needed some quick caffein and this was the perfect way to get it. It's a small simple place- not fancy but very authentic. The staff was young but nice and friendly. The cashier was happy to explain the different options to us. They actually shake your drink by hand in front of you. Made with freshly brewed teas. We had the Thai Milk with Bona and the Pineapple Black tea with coconut jelly. Both were delicious and truly tasted like tea. It just sugar like some other places. read more

I've always liked Ding Tea. They have a bunch of locations but this one is definitely my favorite. They have a bunch of parking and the center that it's in isn't super busy so it's very easy to get in and out of there. Plus, the workers make the drinks super fast so you're never left waiting. I always get the Honey Milk Green Tea with Boba. The regular version of it is a little bit too sweet for me so I always ask for it to be made less sweet. read more

I saw they were finally opened. Ding Tea exceeded my expectations! I've been a few times and thought I would finally do a review. While the 'milk' teas were a tad too sweet for me, i love their reg. teas. I've tried Passionfruit and Mango with boba and it was very fresh with the right amount of ice and boba, they shake it up so its nice and frothy too. The boba was very fresh and chewy. I asked to try a few samples of their other bobas and jellys and i'm going to try the coffee flavored jelly next time, it was really good. read more

So I walked in to get a tea. Asked about the sugar they used. The girl at the front didn't know. She shows me this giant bag with what looks like syrup in it. & says this is what we use. I asked what milk product she has. She says it's a powdered non dairy milk creamer. Doesn't explain it to me or anything. I was being polite, but it felt like her & another coworker were just annoyed by my simple questions. Then I accidentally leave my phone in there. I walk out & walk back in to get my tea. I ask her witch one is which. She says "it's on the label" with an attitude all while kinda shrugging me off. I was looking for my phone. My friend starts calling me. I walk back in to the tea place & the girl is like "oh is this your phone". But she had just seen me walk back in. & had heard me talking about my phone. If your gonna work at an establishment, assure yourself that you know what products your using to sell to people. Especially when it could be based off an allergy. When working in the service industry you have to be aware of what your feeding others. Knowledge is important in the simplest jobs. read more

I am a huge fan of Ding Tea, preferably the one on Bolsa. But I can gladly say after visiting this one, that it's very similar to it. The drinks are very balanced and well made, along with the boba itself. The customer service here is very friendly and excellent. Essentially, the boss is very pretty and lovely, she knows how to handle the issues professionally. After reading the great reviews , I decided to come here with a few friends after some shopping. We ordered the regular milk tea, mango green tea, Hokkaido oolong milk tea and the chocolate milk tea. We were all so very disappointed !!! All drinks were watered down and none had any tea flavor. My chocolate milk tea tasted like carnation hot cocoa powder mixed with twice the recommended water. The mango green tea tasted like the leftover juice in canned fruit . Just awful!! I really don't like leaving one star review but something must be wrong when all four drinks were messed up. read more

I went to this Ding Tea location yesterday to order a small Taro milk tea; a drink that costs $3.75. When I pulled out my debit card to pay, the cashier told me that they only accept cash for transactions less than $5 and asked if I "could just buy a large instead". While I realize the actual dollar amount difference isn't hugely significant, I am shocked that a chain franchise won't accept debit for its purchases; its not like this is some tiny family business. How is anyone without cash supposed to buy a drink smaller than a large? Further, this seems to be limited to only this location - I normally go to the Ding Tea in Orange, and have never run into this issue. It feels like a ploy to force customers to spend more money. Horrible customer service! So I'm a DoorDash driver and I went into pick up an order. I got there at 3:37 PM the order should've been ready by 3:40 PM. They were still inputting the order in to their system when I walked in. I was left there to wait about 20 minutes while they made other peoples drinks instead of completing my order first. people who walked in 10 to 15 minutes after me got their orders before me! that is absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable I don't care if I'm a Doordash person or not you don't put me behind other people when I've been waiting. The quality of bopa tea places has a wide range, and this place is among the top. I don't really have a preference for their golden tapioca pearls vs the traditional black, but it does have a good texture - soft on the outside, yet firm and chewy inside. You can tell they are fresh and haven't sat in a bucket for hours to get mushy. I've tried their house tea which is akin to the traditional black milk tea, and their taro tea. Both were good. You could taste the tea, and it doesn't taste artificial like some of the other bopa places I've been too. You can also control the quality of the sweetness, which I love. They warned me from the start that their drinks are sweeter than the average place. I forgot one time to ask for less sweet, and it was definitely more sweet than I'm used to. They were nice enough to offer to make me a new one, but I hate waste, so I just had them top it off with unsweetened tea and it was perfect. This is definitely one of the better options in my area for bopa tea. It is also reasonably priced for the quality. There are places that charge more for the same quality bopa tea. There are also places that charge less, but I can always taste it in the product - they tend to taste canned and the tapioca pearls are mushy or really stale and hard. Finally a good bopa place nearby so I don't have to drive to Irvine for a good bopa. I'm taking off a star because during a recent visit, after I selected my tea and tried to add bopa to the order, the guy helping me said they were out of bopa. He said it as an afterthought too. As a bopa place, I would think one of the things you lead with is "we're out of bopa." It's like going to a burger joint that is out of hamburger meat. I was incredulous, so he said "Yeah, we just had a really big order so we're out." Okay... Shouldn't you make more as you notice your supply is rapidly diminishing? Also, on some of my visits, there is a huge line and the wait can be pretty long. I think it's just the nature of this particular chain, which is pretty well-known. read more
