I ordered a hazelnut milk tea with 30% sugar (~$6). I forgot that with some of their drinks, the flavor syrup is the sugar. So cutting down on the sugar = less flavor. When I tasted my drink, it was like drinking WATERED down milk tea from a mall food court boba store. I politely asked if I could have additional syrup added, and the employee made a new drink at 70% sugar. The new drink had a faint nutty, hazelnut flavor. BUT not enough to justify the hefty $6. I assumed it children's fault for poking the straw through too hard but as I was about to throw it away and eat the cost, I realize it wasn't our fault, as I stood there for a few minutes waiting for Acknowledgment from the two workers who were still working on my sandwiches, when finally one came towards me I asked for a new cup since there was a cut at the top. The Hokkaido Coffee slushie has a smooth coffee flavor with caramel sweetness that's great anytime. The Báhn mi cold cut sandwich has a hidden flavor that makes it savory; pâté. Yum. The place was so inviting with its decor lighting, nice furniture and wall decor. We of course went to the drive thru to see how it went. It went smoothly and we got our order right away. Apparently they have other locations through the US and their specialty is the golden boba. It tastes the same just a different color. We ordered the beef bahn mi with all the garnishing. It tasted a little dry for me. It was still good but next time I'll probably ask for extra sauce. I also got a slush milk tea with red bean and golden boba. I love this place so much, I had to create an account just to give them 5 stars. Probably one of the BEST boba and banh mi place in town. Great little spot for milk teas. I'm not looking for anything fancy and I see that they apparently have issues keeping boba in stock. When I went by I saw they were out of things as well, but I'm not a boba tea fan. As for the milk teas, this place is great. It's close to where I live, has a drive thru, and they make everything super fast. I've had the strawberry milk tea, jasmine milk tea and honey milk tea and each time has been a flavor explosion. They are cold, tasty, and soothing. I highly recommend giving it a try if you can. I'll try to explore some other options in the near future, but for now the experience has been great. read more
