The young woman who served us was friendly, took our orders, and a short while later returned with our meals. I had pancakes, eggs and sausage while my son had biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were huge and tasted great. I could only eat about half my breakfast. My son enjoyed his breakfast as well. Several times throughout our visit our server checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. As we ate, more people started to arrive and filled in the dining room. At one point our server went out the door in order to help an elderly gentleman with a walker navigate the ramp and door. This is everything that a small town diner should be. I look forward to a return visit when I find myself in the area again.

While we were ordering my husband and I heard someone say "I didn't know we served people like that here" and "well we're all republican here." Now I know they cannot manage conversations that are happening while people are enjoying their food but it still made me feel VERY uncomfortable. Our food was okay. I got fish and chips which were pretty bland. No seasoning at all. My husband got BLT wraps and he said they were actually pretty good! My father had the meatloaf and he rated it 8/10. My son had the mini corn dogs and he seemed to like them. Pricing was really decent other than the fact that when we asked for ranch she brought over packets of ranch and failed to ask how much we wanted and also failed to mention there was an extra charge. I will not be returning. I felt discriminated against and that the service was horrible. Your food is not good enough to make up for your bad service.
