What an awesome breakfast spot!! I love the classic diner feel. And the prices for breakfast are out of this world!! Great prices I got the "best in town" breakfast and my partner got the Uncle Larry's (which came with sausage biscuit and gravy). Everything was delicious!! For $7.99 each you can beat that!

Travel back to the 50's with the best biscuits and gravy! This place has a cozy as heck interior and very slick retro exterior. The staff was super welcoming and quick to get our order and food out. I can't recommend this place for breakfast enough. Just LOOK at my plate! The biscuits and gravy were amazing, with generous pieces of sausage. The crispy potatoes were blanketed by some equally crispy bacon and even the sunny eggs were delightful.

A diner with all the throwback feels. This is a classic retro diner serving up big portions of tasty food at darned near unbelievable prices, so reasonable! The service was great, very polite and upbeat high-school/college kids greeted, served and checked us out. The menu has something for everyone and no joke, the prices are half of what you find in larger cities. Thanks for the great time!

The Good Lord sez dis diner offers great service, food, and olde time ambiance!

So good. I was looking for somewhere new to go and I chose the right spot to go. Very yummy and it was so filling. The special looked very good. The portions were very big and worth your money. Huge pancakes and potatoes were very good. Fries were very good and the sausage. Restrooms were clean. Great place to go..

I was greeted upon entering and told ti seat myself. I decided to sit in a booth. Very nice country music playing at a comfortable level. Nice. Breakfast is served all day. I arrived at 1:45pm. They close at 3pm. Fridays they stay open till 8pm. Fridays offer ALL YOU CAN EAT FISH. Summers bring Cruise In nights. That should be fun. The atmosphere takes you back to a diner from the 60s. Food is very reasonably priced. Free Wi-Fi. I ordered the: 62 Classic Breakfast "The Best In Town". $5.99 That is a large pancake, 3 strips of bacon and 2 eggs. Total deliciousness. Service is outstanding. I think I will come for the fish fry.

Love the 50s atmosphere and it's a great spot for classic car shows! Good service and I like the French toast.

Maddy's fit the bill for a break away from work lunch while on the road. Right out of the 50's, this gleaming location greets you with chrome, red bar stools, the requisite "Kiss My Grits" tin sign on the wall, and 50's music piping from the speakers. The special that day: double cheeseburger. $6. In today's economy?? Only $6?? All the menu items were priced nicely, easy on the wallet. While I was tempted to try a burger, I wanted to see how a diner classic would pan out, so ordered the country fried steak. Placed my order, and before I could manage to take in all the deco on the walls the food arrived from the line station right behind the counter. They serve you a steak knife, but you don't need it, the steak is fork ready, as it should be. They give you two sides option, so I went with green beans and taters, of the french variant. Both were spot on, and I left full and satisfied. I think the total bill came in under $10 or right around there. Good food, filling, and super light on the budget - what more can you ask for? If you find yourself in Waverly, OH, and you would like to fill your belly without worrying about a side hustle to pay the tab, head to Maddy's.

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).
