This only gets a star just because the waiters we very friendly. Maybe being from Cincy and not a a small town really threw me for a loop. But this is a old dumpy place. Went on Easter and they only had the buffet. We should have turned away when noticed it was a make shift line with sterno warmers. And a salad bar well just looked at the picture of it, no need to explain. Food was not tasty at all, lacking flavor and many at 1st were 3/4 empty. The only tasty item was the ribs and BBQ sauce. Our mistake was sitting down. Please don't make the same mistake.

Be sure to ask for bread. It's available but only offered with salads. Delicious

Very pleased with this hole in the wall we stumbled upon during our special get away. The sweet potato fries are delicious. I had the garlic chicken with veggies and my dinner companion had the burger and fries. Everything was hot and delicious. The ketchup was even cold! What a rare treat! The ambience is great at Cohearts and everyone here is treated like a friend. Prepare to wait for your food because it's made fresh for you and its' worth it.

This is one of the great steak & rib joints in Ohio. The rustic atmosphere of the restaurant adds to the ambience, and there is an excellent collection of memorabilia on display. The meat smokers are outside to the rear of the restaurant and worth a look when you come to visit. It's an amazing process. Portions are substantial. I have posted some photos of menus for your review. The interior consist of meandering rooms and a bar for seating. I have never found reservations to be necessary. And frankly, I'm not sure if they even take reservations. Carry out is available and when I come for lunch or dinner, I'll usually order an extra meal to take home. The food is that good. It all travels and refrigerates reasonably well.

I've heard people call it "the best steak I've ever had," which mostly made me wonder... where else have y'all been eating steak? Feels like the philosophy here is: "Why focus on quality when we can simply give you enough meat to feed a youth baseball team?" That said -- the service is great, the atmosphere is classic local favorite energy, and you will absolutely not leave hungry. Cheers to you, want rush back-but may find myself here again.

I got a tray with a pulled pork sandwich, cowboy beans, and coleslaw. The pork was very flavorful with just enough smoke for my tastes, and it went well with the barbecue sauce it came with. I was also impressed with the cowboy beans. Typically, I do not care for beans cooked with beef, but these had a good balance between the two. It also had different varieties of beans that I appreciated. It was savory and filled me up. Lastly, the coleslaw was also good but nothing to write home about. My lunch left me satisfied without being stuffed, which is often an issue I have with barbecue. The only complaint I could see with this meal is portion sizes. While it was a comfortable serving size for myself, I could see others finding the amount of meat given too little for their money and stomachs. Even with the sides, I considered this meal to be lighter than most barbecue I have had. After this experience, I cannot wait for a chance to have a meal at the actual restaurant.

We laughed at an adorable cat, that has been hanging around the restaurant. A group of young guys were loving on the cat. It was nice to see. My mother's ribs were delish. She raved about the slaw and the greens. We intend to support this excellent mom and pop establishment. My wife had the Mae Elizabeth Salda also served with the Italian vinaigrette, consisted of salad greens, sweet onions, peppers, baby tomatos cumcber, carrots, ham, turkey, topped with provolone.
