These days, furniture delivery services rarely offer removal of old furniture items when you buy new ones. Trash Warrior really came through when I needed them to remove furniture I loved that had been severely stained by a leaky roof. I am not sure if they repurpose the furniture. I hope so. I loved my experience with Trash Warrior. The process was easy and seamless. I booked on my cell phone and selected a date and time. Trash Warrior matched me up with a provider and the provider confirmed the time with me day of pickup. The folks who showed up (Omar and another person) were awesome. Great attitude, very professional, friendly, efficient, on time. I had a large fridge and 4 bikes for removal and it cost me around $170. It is clear from reading some of the other comments that some people didn't have as great an experience with the providers they were matched up with. The trash hauler contacts you before the pick up to confirm and texts you when they're done. You don't even have to be there! Upload some photos of your trash so they know what they're picking up. Their quote was the lowest. I paid $182.75 tax included, to have my sofa removed. I originally booked the pick-up time for 5:00 PM. The rep from Trash Warrior called. They can come at 1:00 PM. I agreed, that was better for me. At 12:38 PM, the provider called and told me he will arrive at my condo in 45 minutes. At 1:30 PM, the providers' arrived. They were efficient. I booked this company for same day service on a Saturday (5/8) for 5pm. By 5:30 I had to call as I did not receive any communication on delay of service. The representative called me back and said the truck and driver had to cancel. They charged me and confirmed my refund 3 business days later and as of 5/24 I still have not received my refund. It was easy to schedule my junk removal with Trash Warrior. They asked for photos of the items I wanted removed, and then promptly sent me a quote via email. It was very reasonable and we were happy to not have to wait long for our junk to be hauled away. Unfortunately the pickup was a bit later than expected, but they did complete the job and removed everything we had requested. I recently bought a new bed and needed my old bed picked up and taken away. This bed was a beast, Cal King Bed, Double Pillow Top, and like 15 years old and about 200 pounds. I reached out to a few trash pick up places and most came back well over $300. Trash Warrior was super easy and their pricing was amazing. I was matched with Jason and he was great. He was super professional and great with communication. He messaged me 30 minutes prior to arriving and then when he was about 5 min away so I could meet him. I live in a condo downtown long beach so parking can be a pain. It took him all of about 10 minutes or so to load up the bed and take it away. Do not trust this service. Absolute scam. Scammerific, scamtastic. I was quoted 50-ish dollars to remove a single pickup load of broken down boxes. Sounds good, booked the appointment. When the truck arrived, the independent contractors they gave the job to loaded the cardboard, and Trash Warriors called me with their 'updated' quote. Trash Warriors tripled the price to 152 dollars! I unloaded the truck, tipped the independent drivers, and will find another way to get rid of my trash. Disgraceful. Trash warrior is a great junk removal service. Though I'm usually skeptical of "gig economy" company models (there's a cartoon video on the site proclaiming that the service is like uber but for trash), I highly recommend these guys! I had a couch, table, and other smaller furniture that I wanted cleared out after moving out of my old place. Time was running out, and finding an affordable service was stressful. I got one quote for $700--more than the value of the furniture combined! One company wouldn't provide an exact estimate without being on site, which was really inconvenient. The genius of trash warrior is that they charge per item as opposed to volume. It ended up working in my favor. Once you place the booking, they match you with a contractor. I was really happy with the contractors that were sent to me. They were super friendly and professional. I was prepared to help them with the job, but they happily did it themselves. It was a huge relief! Just note that, at least for me, all communication leading to the appointment was online or through email. I'm old-fashioned and prefer to deal with a person over the phone. One issue was that I was only able to input my zip code instead of my full address for the booking. I tried to resolve this issue through the agents, but it didn't seem to work. Luckily, it didn't create a problem for the contractors' arrival. Like a lot of other businesses in LA, junk removal has become a racket. Trash warrior levels the playing field. read more

They set us up with someone who ended up having to postpone due to family emergency (which is absolutely understandable), but after that delay, and at our re-scheduled time, ghosted us entirely. We asked the company direct to contact Casey, the assigned person to come retrieve our Cal-King-Size Mattress from the third floor. They said they would get back to us. Hours later, we find they didn't, nor did someone else get sent. We had to do the moving of the mattress ourselves, which nearly had me injured and resulted in a few things getting broken. You guys really need to change your name, if this is the level of service you provide. No 'warrior' ghosts a job they're meant to do. Trash Deserters seems more fitting.
