Gabe & James are super! They have taken stuff from our house, when we had a huge pile o stuff from a re-model which had been sitting there for a while. I think we had Gabe that time, he even pulled up some chunks of concrete that he said needed to go, and scoured the yard for any small pieces of debris that he could throw into the truck. I swear that truck could hold the Gulf oil spill and still have room for some old tires and stuff. Now we need to clean out our huge garage and you can be sure we'll be calling them to come get all the junk that's been sitting around since my hubby was 15. read more

Shamwow! these guys are good. They promptly returned my call and answered all my questions. Can you haul a motorcycle tire? (Yes!) Cinder blocks? (Yes!) Old batteries? (What size?) B-batteries. (Yes!) James gave me a very reasonable quote and was able to schedule my haul the next morning. Gabe showed up on time and finished the job in under 30 minutes. Gabe explained the load was smaller than they thought and lowered my price. Wow. These guys are a class act. See my before and after photos in the Yelp gallery. read more

In two days I talked to James on the phone, met with him in person, got a quote and he had his guys out there the following week. Love fast, friendly, efficient procedures and service. My crap was gone within a week of my first call. read more

Holy cow. Strong, fast, friendly and professional service. I didn't know how big a job I really had for them, what with things that needed to be broken down and hauled out in pieces. They were more than happy to swing by and size up the work. The price they set was great -- just what I was hoping for. The next day Gabe showed up on time and worked his magic. In an hour, years worth of junk and construction debris gone, never to be seen again. Can't say enough good things about them. I'll never put off my hauling tasks again, now that I know how easy it can be. read more

I've called these guys 3 times and never gotten a call back. That sucks since they have good reviews. read more

I called to have about seven pieces, all various sizes, taken from my apartment. I got a quick quote on the phone, and set up an appointment. On the day of my move, the guy actually called to say he was running about ten minutes late due to the huge fireball pg&e fire on polk street that afternoon. He still showed up only three minutes after the appointment time. My elevators were also knocked out due to the fire, so everything would have to be done by stairs. He started right away, hauling things faster than I could have ever done. I helped him with some of the bigger stuff, but he was super fast and knew what he was doing. He was a great guy first, and a great worker second. Easy to talk to, kind, and willing to help with anything I asked. I would recommend these guys to anyone, and have so about three times since. What a great company. read more

Great Service! Had just finished doing a major remodel of my house, and had loads of crap in the garage. I had old paint cans, rolls of heavy carpet, tack strips, cardboard, and broken mirrors. You name it I had it! Called them on Tuesday and James was able to come out Wednesday morning to give me an estimate. He was actually 5 minutes early, which was a blessing since I had to rush into work. He gave me an estimate and actually asked me what I deemed fair. So I gave him my price and he agreed! He was even able to get a hold of Gabe and they were able to do it the same day. Great Service! Came home to a clean garage and I couldn't be happier. Would definitely recommend! read more

SF Haul is good. They returned my call promptly, rescheduled with ease when I had to postpone the pickup, and they showed up on time. Their price was better than 1-800-GOTJUNK, which had done a previous pick up at my house. I would hire SF Haul again. read more

These guys are the best and here's why... 1. They bleeding return your call in a very prompt manner 2. They are professional on the phone 3. They assess the situation quickly and give you a REASONABLE rate 4. They are punctual 5. They are prepared 6. They are efficient; fast but not careless 7. They do what they say they will 8. Seriously? They can do the impossible. And lastly, they are really, really nice. Ask for Gabe. They have ALL my business from now on, plain and simple. read more

Sent an email last weekt for a pretty big stump removal. The stump had been pre-cut from the ground and only needed to be hauled away. Since they had one picture of a stump on their web site that was slightly larger than mine, I used that as an example and asked for a ball park. I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from James in the morning with quote of $100. Fair enough, I called back and got Robin (?) on the line. Not super pleasant, but that's ok, we're all busy. He said he was going to go look at it today and asked that I call back later in the afternoon. "This was likely to cost $150". Price just went up by $50. I called back at the end of the day and was told that they would go see it tomorrow. I asked for a finger in the air estimate because i needed to make a decision soon and he answered $200. Double the price in 48 hours, that's great. In addition to the price increase though, I really felt like the person on the phone had better things to do. Won't call again. read more

I have no idea how we accumulated so much CRAP in our apartment over the eight years that we lived there. After sorting through all our stuff for our move, we had a TON of stuff to get rid of. There was no way we would have been able to haul it all to the dump ourselves (nor would we have wanted to). Luckily James at SF Haul was gracious enough to come and get our junk on short notice, and for a reasonable rate, considering the volume of crap we had. He and another guy came (even showed up 30 min early), loaded our stuff into the truck quickly, and even swept the driveway afterward! Highly recommended. read more

Excellent professional service. Gabe, the owner, came by to give me an estimate within a few hours of my first call. The estimate was reasonable. They were flexible about scheduling, showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would for the price they quoted. I would definitely hire them again. read more

Great guys. Great Price. Great Service. As Tony the Tiger says, "Just Great!!!!!" I am a very critical person and they were absolutely wonderful. Early and fast. Very professional. read more

SF Haul was great. I couldn't believe all the stuff they fit into the truck, and how quickly he loaded it! Also very friendly and professional. I would totally use them again. read more

Had a pick-up truck sized pile of trimmings, vines, compost, etc.. James arrived 10 minutes early and was done within 20. Nice guy and very reasonable. Thanks again James. read more

SF Haul rocks! I had two huge cement planters (weighing in excess of 100 lbs) and these guys came and hauled in under 15 minutes with no issues. Great prices as well. Very trustworthy guys, and they follow up with great customer service. read more

Had a very good experience with SF Haul today. I found them a little gruff on the phone yesterday when getting an estimate, but when I was concerned about the cost (I'm on a serious budget at the moment!), they offered to come down a little. Just a little, but I really appreciated it. I appreciated that they could come the next day, too. I really needed to get rid of this stuff NOW. When I met the fellows in person (Gabe & James), they introduced themselves and I had a very positive in-person impression of them. Really nice guys. They quickly loaded my stuff into their truck. *And* I asked if they could give me a quick hand moving something a little too heavy/awkward for me, and they did so happily. Yay! I'd definitely recommend them/use them again. read more

I can't say enough about James, his attention to detail, his professionalism, his great attitude and on and on. I have used him now three times and always get perfect results. He has never asked for more than the amount quoted, he is always early, he has always called me back promptly and has communicated well. I've used him for a home move, yard and construction hauling and he picked me up 2 cords of wood for the winter. Do yourself a favor when you need anything moved.... Call James first! read more

I've been meaning to write this second review for months. We first used SF Haul back in February of this year. We used them again in mid-March to remove debris from a bathroom remodel. I called up, mentioned my name and got the type of service and attention that one would get from being a valued, long-time client. The only question asked was "when do you want us there". Just like the first time we used them, SF Haul showed up as scheduled, they were courteous, professional and their pricing was fair. I know that we will be using them again and again. I can't recommend SF Haul highly enough. read more

We had Gabe come and haul mixed debris from our backyard construction project - this is the 2nd time we've used SF Haul and have consistently been impressed with their responsiveness, timeliness, friendly attitude, and professional job. Oh, and the pricing is great too! I will be calling again the next time I need hauling done. read more

Would definitely recommend this service!!! and hire them again anytime!!! read more

Awesome Job! Called them yesterday to remove all our boxes from moving and construction. They showed up today and quickly removed not only our boxes but the trash we had as well. Will definitely use again! read more

As others have stated these guys don't return phone calls and the one guy I did talk to was pretty rude. He had to hang up and call me back which of course he never did. After 3 attempts to spend money with this business I give up and they earn the coveted one star. read more

Excellent, fast and efficient!! Got rid of all of my junk and I couldn't be more grateful!! The price was more than fair, would recommend to anyone getting rid of unwanted stuff!!! A++++++ read more

SF Haul is phenomenal. I first used them when my apartment building had a fire and I needed to toss out most of my smoke damaged belongings. Then, I used them again when I was planning a move and needed to downsize even further. Just got off the phone with them and they easily and quickly agreed to come by tomorrow and take all the rest of the stuff I am throwing out before the movers get here. They are consistently friendly and provide excellent service. They are also FAST! I have used Yelp for years, but rarely do I review. I appreciate this company so much that I just had to make sure everyone knows what great work they do. I'd give them 15 stars if I could. read more

Getting rid of stuff. That's sometimes a difficult task for people to initiate. And the longer you've been at one place, the harder it becomes. For some, it's easier to kep on collecting stuff until folks start whispering 'hoarder' . Well, one can nip this in the bud and start feng shuing their living spaces by calling SF Haul. James and his rugged pickup will be there in a jiffy as evidenced by my experience today. Being in the process of moving, I had a list of stuff that needed to be removed. Yep, even that bowling ball given to me a decade ago. Out with the plastic lounge chair sitting out back and all the empty paint cans as well. I called in the morning and he was over promptly at 330 this afternoon. He will take five or less gallons of paint but anymore will be trouble. In five minutes I had cleared enough space in my apartment that it started sounding echo-y. And for $90 I couldn't complain, having no vehicle to carry this all to the dump. Nice guy and quick. That;s SF Haul. No need to become a hoarder with this business around. read more

SF Haul was a great solution to my junk-filled garage. They are affordable, punctual, and super fast! They were friendly and accommodating and I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I would definitely recommend SF Haul to friends and family. They were really professional as well as friendly. Returned calls promptly and were on time for the actual job. They were also very careful removing old furniture from the apartment so as not to damage the walls and floors and the price was totally fair. Great people. Great job. read more

Fast and easy. Showed up early, hauled away 20 heavy contractor bags filled with debris. Competitive price. We'll use him again.

I had a lot of scary stuff from our back porch to haul and they showed up on time and in the rain. Originally it was going to be a lot more than I could afford, but they came down to meet our budget needs and also because this is the second time they came to our apartment. They were super quick and even though James may sound gruff on the phone, he is very sweet, nice and polite. read more

These guys are fantastic. I've used them 3 times for hauling loads of everything from mounds of soil from my backyard to mounds and mounds of nail-laden wood and plaster debris from a ceiling demo. Each time Gabe and crew have come promptly, given me a fair price and cleaned and swept up after they were done. They're cool, mellow guys too. No BS. Highly recommended. read more

Just used them for the 3rd time, and can't say enough good things about them. They are super responsive (all 3 times came within 24 hours) and took everything we needed them to take. Definitely would use them again! read more
