OH SHED! We're getting the house ready to sell. One problem, an ugly broken down shed out back full of junk. After searching through the shed and saving what we could, we began our search for someone to tear it down and haul it away. One place said it was too dangerous, another one had no insurance. But our excellent realtor had someone she uses a lot, and hooked us up. So this big truck arrives a little before 9am and two little guys jump out! I was expecting at least four big guys! Anyway, I take them out back and say I want this all gone, down to the concrete slab! I gotta tell ya, these two guys amazed us! By noon they had all the junk loaded in the truck! The truck was packed! The one guy takes the first load to the dumps while the 2nd guy keeps working. Wall by wall, these guys worked late into the night. Twelve hours of non-stop hussle! These guys impressed the hell out of us! So the plan now is to clean the concrete pad and place a round patio table with umbrella and chairs. This will make the house much more appealing to buyers! read more

I have used junk it for the last few years. Ivan has always been very professional and prompt. He always shows up at the time he says he will be there. He has even helped me out in a pinch and take care of me on short notice. I would highly recommend Ivan and junk it. They are my go to whenever I need junk removed. read more

This business is LEGIT! Great customer service from beginning to end. I was able to text photos of the junk/trash to get a rough estimate the other day and scheduled a pickup for this morning. What's nice is there is no obligation to use their service once they're onsite and issue an official quote. For the amount of trash, size and overall weight of the items, the cost was reasonable. I felt it was money well spent vs. getting an Uber to uHaul + wait in line to checkout + rent the U-Haul truck w/insurance + pay per mile + drive to the house to load + drive to the dumpster to unload + refuel + drop off uHaul + Uber back to my house. Basically, doing it myself would've taken at least 3 hours. They finished in less than 15 minutes. Carlos and Luis were fast and efficient. Both were friendly and professional. I would highly recommend them to family and friends! read more

Our tenants moved out recently and left a lot of their trash at our place. The weekend rain didn't help either since the place became messy with soaked huge cardboard boxes. We called this service and was able to get an appointment within a week at a very reasonable cost. We have used another similar service and that was very expensive. The team showed up on time and behaved very professionally. They cleaned up the place nicely, took some additional items with a small extra price and completed the work in under 30 minutes. I would call them next time when I need similar service. read more

I have gone with this company 3 times now. Each one has been exceptional. They are very quick to get back to you and are fair in pricing. They are professional and all business. The first time they came was to simply remove trash from the side of my house. The second time, they emptied out and tore down an old aluminum storage shed. This past time was a huge haul. I had a kitchen table and a bunch of old stuff from a remodeling project we have been doing. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. See for yourself. Don't take a chance. Go with these guys. Ivan is very professional and responds to each inquiry right away. He and a partner showed up in the agreed upon time and were expert at taking apart a treadmill and removing it from the 2nd floor along with other items from the first floor. Fast and efficient! They were able to get me on the schedule for the following day! Great service and reasonably priced!

The crew was wonderful. They were nice to work with, took down my old shed, cleaned up the site, and were done in less than a half hour!

Awesome service! Fourth time with them. Owner (Ivan) and Junior were in and out in like 20 minutes. Always fantastic service and will use them. Decent pricing and can work with you on schedule and everything. They quote before doing the work so you don't have to worry you're being taken for a ride since you can send them off if you don't like the price. Always a pleasure, Ivan! read more

Junk It - Experts In Junk Removal - Thank you, Ivan and his wonderful crew! - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me

Like all other folks Marie Kondo-ing their lives during this shelter in place, we did a huge junk cleanup around the house. Sent out a request through yelp to get some estimates and these guys responded so fast. They charge by the truck load. For us, the amount of junk we had was more than a truck load but they suggested that we just load one truck as much as possible. These guys were able to get all of the larger furniture and most of the bulky junk items. Thank you guys so much!! read more

I am a corporate fixer asisting clients directly with the issues no one else can deal with. "What's a corporate fixer?" You may ask. Don't worry about it. Really, all it means is that I fly all over the country helping our clients through what are usually disasters and/or insurmountable obstacles. The company I work for does business in a very narrow niche within the finance sector. All that being said, often for me to perform at the expected level I rely on the ability to find dependable venders in a wide array of trades. Sometimes I need to ship a vehicle or I may need to move an office on short notice. There have been times when I need to confront a criminal element somehow attached the our client or there interests. Needless to say, I want the people I contract to do work for us to do so efficiently and with discretion. They need to be dependable and honest. I want people who are competent and who understand the unique nature of some of our jobs and can be flexible. I don't always find what I'm looking for, but I can honestly say that Ivan and the crew over at Junk It embody the attributes above. We have a number of clients in The Bay Area. Anytime I need to dispose of anything in the area I call Ivan. A straight talker with little fluff, Ivan often is able to schedule pickups for me on the same day. I have thrown a couple of nightmare jobs at the Junk It guys and they have taken care of it. They don't waste time standing around, trying to pad the clock like some companies I've worked with. They show up, they do the work, and they leave. It bears noting that I am required to submit competing bids and I can confidently say that the Junk It quote always wins by a healthy margin. Dependability is the reason these guy get my business, the price just takes away the headache when it comes time to submit expense reports. read more

Problem: non-functional, 15 year old hot tub. 44" high, opening in gate 42". It will have to go over the fence or cut into smaller pieces to got thru the gate. La Diabla will not let me explode it into smaller pieces, damn! Used yelp quote to request quote from 6 different companies. 1 message sent to all at the same time. 4 replies within minutes. Not everyone will demolish a hot tub. 1 was not bonded, I wasn't going to roll those dice even if they were $150.00 cheaper than other quotes. Junk It it is! Appointment time & date set. They called ahead of time advising they were running late. They were on time. In 1 hour, 2 guys that knew what they were doing made it look easy! Loaded into their bright ass green truck and cleaned up after themselves. I'll call them again when I have more junk. I still want to blow something up. read more

I highly recommend Ivan and his team from Junk-It, they did an excellent job as you can see from the photos, It was definitely not an easy job. Our family is very pleased with their work, customer service and pricing. Will definitely use Junk-It again and will HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ALL OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS. read more

Looking through the reviews prior to contact, I understand what was going through all of their prior customers' minds. They were unbelievably responsive and helped me with same day (within 2 hrs) service. They removed my biggest pieces of furniture with ease. Really helped me streamline my move. On top of all that the price was more than reasonable. Thank you again, and I highly recommend this business. read more

Super easy to book. Reliable. The person that came to remove my dinning table was a beast! (In a good way) I have a huge and heavy dinning table and he was able to take it away by himself (takes me and one other to just move it a little to the side). Came during time frame they said - I forgot and he called and it worked out but he didn't make me feel bad for forgetting. Appreciate the work! read more

We bought a fixer upper and one painful backyard eyesore was a 5 person hot tub that didn't work. After 6 months of frowning and baring it, I finally called around to have it removed. Out of the 4 companies called - Junk It was super friendly, gave me the best guesstimate AND could have someone out to me in 2 hours the same day to finalize estimate with no obligation to engage their services. 10 minutes later got a call from Ron confirming that he was coming by and when. Then as promised Ron and Pablo showed up, gave me a no-brainer good estimate and I said yes. They quickly dismembered this yard canker-sore relic of the 1980's, were super friendly and cleaned up after themselves. Wish I had called Junk It 6 months ago - now I know and hopefully so do you. read more

Excellent service! We had a bunch of junk we needed to get rid of and were looking for a hauling service. We literally reached out the noon prior and they arrived right on the scheduled time, and cleared out everything the next morning! The best part is they give a free in person quote on arrival which you can accept or reject at no further cost!!! Not a single item was left out and they also cleaned out any debris in the front yard which I personally commend to be a great value add. Really appreciate the clean service, quick response time and attention to detail! The price was also very much within our expected range and budget and I would definitely use Junk It in the future as well as refer them to all my friends! read more

I have used Junk It twice to remove garbage/construction debris from my residence and both times they were very professional, efficient, and affordable. They were responsive in returning my call/request for a quote, getting back to me in less than 30 minutes, and were able to get me an appointment the next day. They showed up on time, provided a very reasonable quote, and within 1 hour were able to load up 2/3 - 3/4 truck with construction debris I had leftover from a remodeling project. They cleaned up the area afterwords, provided me with a receipt and were on their way. I highly recommend Junk It if you have a need for garbage/debris removal in CA bay area. read more

Bought a new house. The previous owner had a massive dog house with 2by4s and an asphalt shingle roof. He also had a massive cage. I guess his dog was not a Chihuahua. To top it off he also stuck the posts in concrete. I broke the whole thing and pulled out the concrete and needed to get to a dump. I have kids so driving around looking for a truck rental is a nightmare and losing a work day is expensive and annoys your managers. I got some ridiculous quotes from people. I called these guys, answered after three rings. They asked me for some photos, gave me an honest quote for the work. Arrived the next day, picked the stuff up and voila. Now I have a nice and tidy yard. Thanks a ton. I'd recommend them and use them again if I needed them. read more
