Greg was great, arrived and quickly tackle the project, removal of junk. Fair price for the service.

Greg was recommended to me by a colleague, and when I texted him about a big junk pickup in the morning he responded within minutes and scheduled for three hours later. He took everything I asked about plus a few extra things that I'd missed in my original request, then he helped me clean out a big recycling tilt truck too. AND he did it all with a smile and a friendly demeanor. He was super efficient and I was thrilled with the value provided - well worth what I paid (plus a few cold drinks because he worked so hard!) I'll definitely call Greg directly for any future junk hauling needs. Thanks Greg! read more

I highly recommend Mr Junk Haul! Greg was friendly, responsive, informative & punctual throughout the entire process Our HOA didn't have a junk removal service to suggest, so I went searching on Yelp and and found Greg. He replied quickly, reviewed my list of items, clearly explained what he could and couldn't take (which I really appreciated), and provided a fair quote. We scheduled the pickup after the holidays, and Greg showed up on time and completed the job efficiently. Everything was handled smoothly and without hassle. He's definitely going to be our go-to person for junk removal in the future! read more

Mr. Junk Haul just saved my day. Imagine this: I'm moving. Out of the state. Today. Sold the house, packed my stuff, going, going, about to be gone! We scheduled a "bulky pickup" from the trash company, Republic Services. They give you two bulky pickups a year *as a courtesy*, and that's the key part. You can't actually say, pay for a third bulky pickup, because they don't actually do this as a service. They do it *as a courtesy*, just because they're nice. And so today, the day we are LEAVING THE STATE, we had a scheduled bulky pickup service, and a pile of junk at the end of our driveway. And then we got a phone call this morning from Republic Services. Due to coronavirus, they are canceling all bulky pickup service, as it is not considered an "essential service" out of safety concerns for their workers. But. . .but. . . but. . . there's a pike of junk at the end of my driveway. People are going through it, tearing open my garbage bags to see what I'm throwing out. It's getting dangerous out there, and I'm leaving today, and it's going to what. . .just stay there? Indefinitely? They suggested I could self-haul it to the Fremont dump, except the dump is closed to the public on Mondays and Tuesdays, and only open on Wednesdays through Fridays, AND I'M LEAVING THE STATE TODAY. What to do? I suggested to Republic Services that they should honor their already-scheduled pickups and just cancel scheduling new pickups. The lady on the phone was really nice. She explained that she understood my suggestion, but that I should be aware that the trucks are not rolling, the drivers are union, and they aren't going to be picking up my scheduled bulky pickup. She said "You need to find a different solution." --and she was right, of course. I googled "Fremont junk hauling" and in the little map that shows up there was a star right over Fremont. It was Mr. Junk Haul. I called. Got the voicemail. I left my name and number and said "I have a pile of junk in my driveway." --and then prayed (and I'm not religious). Mr. Junk Haul called me back right away. I texted him a photo of my junk pile, and he got back to me right away with a quote. I accepted, and he showed up in about an hour to make my junk problem GO AWAY. Such pleasant service. I explained to him what a pickle I was in, and how he literally just saved my move. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU Mr. Junk Haul! Seriously; if you're in a pickle and you have junk you need hauled, give Mr. Junk Haul a call. He was so nice and prompt with his quote and service. 5 stars WELL EARNED! read more

Greg, the owner, arrives a bit earlier than our scheduled service meeting. He says he remembers we had to be somewhere and that we were pressed for time. This alone made us like him right away. He did a great job hauling away some very old items filled in big heavy boxes. Friendly, very affordable, efficient and, at the end of the service, he even swept our driveway. If I could give more than 5 stars for Greg and his company, I would. For the first time, I can't thank Yelp enough for leading us to finding Mr. Junk Haul! read more

Super pleased with Mr. Junk Haul. After online inquiry, by that evening i received an email - Greg was super quick to respond! I texted a few pics of the items i needed to get rid of and he again was quick to respond with a quote. Price totally reasonable and he was able to come out the same week. I wasn't able to be at home while he was there and there were a few items that got left behind that i was hoping would have been taken, this was simply due to miscommunication with my husband who was overseeing the job but Greg came back the next day and took away the remaining items.. Super happy the junk is gone and super happy to help a local biz. :) read more
