I need some things removed that I could not donate. I called and the owner sent a message thanking me for my pending business with his company. Why is that important? I DO NOT have to give anyone my money. To understand that idea is great. The two-person crew came to my house, 10 minutes early, EARLY! When they arrived they acknowledged they were early and asked if they should wait for their time. WHAT!?!?! Who does that? I said oh no, start now. They came into the home, gathered the items, I paid (a very fair price) and they were off. Thank you goodbye, right? WRONG!!! Out of the Closet was coming to get the items I wanted to donate. They were very late,the drive was super rude and they did not take ANY of items I wanted to donate (later for them). I am now in a panic. You see, Out of the Closet makes you put your items OUTSIDE. I could not just leave them there. I called the crew that just left with my removal items and asked if they could come back. They said they could but it would be about an hour and a half. That's fine, just come back! They were able to come back, get those things (a sofa was in the mix) and charged, again, a fair price. They were nice, fast and understood my frustration. I got the recommendation for Responsive Hauling from Angi/Angie's List for someone to haul away and dispose of our very old washer and dryer. Enrique contacted me right away to get more information about the project and scheduled an appointment for 2 days later. Since we had a gas dryer, Enrique informed me that he would need to make sure the gas connection was in well working order and if it wasn't we would need to call PG&E for safety reasons. Up to the day and time of the appointment, they kept me up to date with an appointment confirmation, reminder, and notification of arrival time on the day of. Enrique and crew were extremely professional and courteous. After looking at the gas connection, he determined that it was in good working order and they safely removed my washer and dryer and hauled them away. The entire process was smooth and quick. I had a bad experience with a "hauler." He didn't finish the job which was time sensitive. I needed to get everything hauled away and cleaned the next day. I called Responsive Hauling at the end of the day Thursday and spoke to Jose Diaz. He promised me that his people would be there on Friday early afternoon, arrive on time, be efficient and said I wouldn't even know they were there. Responsive Hauling and Enrique were exactly as promised by Jose Diaz. They were at my house early (!) and finished the job within an hour. What took the other "hauler" 5 hours took Responsive Hauling ONE HOUR! They also cleaned the area after hauling everything away. I had some Furniture to get rid of in Fremont this morning. My first thought was to call 800-got-junk as they are everywhere. The customer service rep on the phone was super polite and gave me rough estimate.. I made an appointment, they came by.. to pickup a couch and love seat they quoted me $386. That is unreal? I could do it myself and it would have cost me a fraction of that. However for lack of time and convenience I decide to give yelp a shot and contacted Responsive Hauling. They came within 40 minutes of my call! Which I thought was super Fast. They are very professional and polite. Did the job for $150! That's a business that does things right and I wish them the Best. I'm very satisfied with this company. They are highly responsive, quick workers, and attentive to the circumstances: they asked me if they are allowed to pull their truck into the driveway. Since our driveway is not suitable for heavy vehicles, I said no, and they politely acknowledged that. They left the truck along the street and moved the whole pile from the driveway into the truck manually. They were dressed in clean uniforms and the truck looks new and well maintained. They notified me about 45 minutes in advance about when they would arrive, and followed up again 10 minutes before they arrived, so I did not have to spend time waiting. I highly recommend this group. I had a very large and heavy pile of wood grindings/mulch in my driveway that needed to be removed quickly. I called Ricardo late Monday afternoon and when I told him I needed the pile moved quickly he had a team at my house at 8:30 the next morning. It had been raining all week and the mattress, three sofas and chairs were completely waterlogged, which he warned me could raise their rates--but in the end, they didn't take advantage of what could potentially have been a very expensive haul to the dump and stuck to the agreed terms; actually going hauling well above and beyond the items that were discussed. Heads over tails a better bargain than the hauling service we had previously employed for my mother's house. Enrique and his team of one were super efficient!!They arrived on time and haul my ridiculously heavy wooden piano away in under 10 minutes (includes the time to load onto the truck). The team arrived promptly at 8 AM, but I neglected to hear the doorbell, however instead of getting upset, they waited outside patiently until I came to the door. once I showed them what needed to go, they got right to work and in a matter of minutes they were done, and I had a huge amount of things to get rid of. they swept up and left the area so nice and clean. both individuals were extremely professional, very kind and courteous which you don't find a lot these days. This was our second project with these guys. Enrique was very helpful and tried to keep everything within our budget. Our first project was removing the old shed attached to the house. They did a great job for a portion of the price compared to other estimates. The second job was to remove a lot of soil from our side yard. The previous owner made it "nice" by piling gravel and pavers on top of the existing soil. The ground level was too high and we were having moisture issues.
