Nixxit was great! I called them on a Monday early afternoon and they were actually able to come the same day (though I ultimately opted to have them Tuesday.) They called me saying they could come earlier than the arranged time but that didn't work for me and they said, "No worries." They then showed up at exactly when the arranged time was, were super nice and efficient. Cost was right in line with what was estimated on the phone, even without photos provided. I like that it's woman and locally owned and that they will try to donate the furniture that they could as opposed to sending it all to landfill. I would use them again in a heartbeat. We have used Nixxit 3 times. The first two times, they removed couches from our home that were too heavy for us to lift. This third time, they removed several pieces of furniture from my father-in-law's assisted living apartment, after he passed away. I've had Nixxit out twice now while clearing out my parents property. After living there for 35, and bringing with them things they had already been storing 35 years prior to that, it's been quite a feat going through it all! We are taking our time deciding what to do with certain things but knowing that they are not just hauling trash but will recycle and donate usable items has saved me a lot of time and energy running around to different places. There are really no words to describe how much Nixxit helped us and our situation. They handled a massive property clean up for us. This was a 16 day job on an acre and a half. A complete hoarding situation after a family member passed. From the very first meeting with Bryce, the owner, we felt confident that his company was going to be able to tackle such a big project. The team at Nixxit is incredible. They came to my aid in my hour of need. The job was to clear out my mother's house so we could clean it up for an open house 48 hours later. I called on a Tuesday, and they were able to fit me in by the weekend, which was perfect. From the beginning of the engagement, I was impressed by their planning and preparation skills. As I fed them information about my mom's property, they adjusted staffing and vehicle requirements in real-time to ensure they could complete my junk removal job by my Mission Impossible deadline. Throughout the process, communication was impeccable during planning and on the day of the job. The office kept in constant contact with me via text. And on the day of the job, the assigned 3-person team communicated early and often. They even arrived early. Once onsite, we quickly assessed the haul-away effort, tweaked the scope of work, and then kicked off the clear-out. The team hauled away more items than expected. They had a playbook for sorting items for landfill, green waste, recycling, and donation.
