I love Dimassi's and have been to a a few locations around the metroplex. This one is no different from the others. They offer a wide variety of both hot and cold dishes as well as desserts. The dining area is big and clean. They have someone constantly walking around clearing plates and cleaning tables. Just know everything else is self serve including your drinks and silverware. We came in on a weekend and everything was fresh and delicious. Love Dimassi's!

Great quality food. The service was kind and the food was delicious with lots to choose from. Desserts were amazing as well with many halal choices. Drinks were great too. Rice is a bit dry but that could be due to that fact it was out too long. But with the prices of $17.99/person, it's hard to beat.

Empty plates cause I ate it all up!

This place rules! The veggies are all fresh and all the meat is delicious. Well, i don't know about the fish because i didn't try it. I don't want to be a liar but I would bet it's good. But yeah, very good food. I just can't say it enough. Everybody should go here and bring everyone they know but just not all at the same time because that would a logistics nightmare. Maybe we could arrange alphabetically or something? I don't know but we will figure it out. Just go and make sure and get a Lamb Shank. It's great when it's pipping hot!

I've been to Dimassi's twice & it's been consistent in experience and satisfaction. When you walk in you're greeted by who appears to be the Owner. Not much decor but there's plenty of seating. You have the option to enjoy their lunch or dinner buffet w/first come first serve seating or pay by weight if you don't want to dine in. If you dine in what's cool is you pay when you leave. Walking up to the buffet, you'll notice they have boxes of gloves sitting out for guests (which I love for sanitary purposes). The buffet is always fresh with a variety of different food, drinks and desserts to choose from. They also do a great job of updating the name tags so you know what you're eating if unfamiliar with the dishes they serve. All in all I think Dimassi's is great and worth a try if you're looking for something different to eat, be it a meal for yourself or your family to enjoy.

Very consistent. Large selection of choices. Friendly, clean, simple. Lots of salads, hummus, baba ganush, chicken drumsticks, fish, gyro, beef kabobs, falafel, (for dinner only, braised lamb shank), lots of veggies, try the eggplant, pita, baklava, soft serve ice cream, and soda. At around $20, it's a bargain as well as very good food.

Open 365 days a year even on holidays. Wonderful food and drinks selection. Very clean and polite staff.

Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet is a huge dining hall buffet that serves over 40 different Mediterranean items. Hummus, falafel, baba ghanoush, tabouli, rice etc ..most of the items are vegetarian. The meat items include chicken, gyro slices and fish. $16 AYCE. The price is right but the food quality is mediocre. The interior tables are arranged in three long rows and looks like a school cafeteria. I found the roast chicken, the baba ghanoush and the desserts the better items. They do a brisk lunch business. Plenty of parking. Self service. Just pile the used plates on an open table. Don't forget to get your utensils and extra napkins at the counter.

We ate here on Sunday for dinner. It was moderately packed. This is a self serve spot where you seat yourselves, and get both food and drink. The food was decent. The salads were good, but when it came to the dishes that were hot, it was just a little warm even after getting it right off the line. I was disappointed in the gyro meat especially because it wasn't that flavorful and dry. The lamb was decent, but not very flavorful. The best thing on there is probably the hummus, pita bread and cauliflower dish. Rosewater was really good. Tried it with a dash of Sprite and it was even better. I personally wouldn't go to this location again. There was kids running around like crazy, and families were letting their baby who just learned how to walk, roam freely. Poor kid hit her head on a chair and started crying. It was crazy and it probably ruined my dinner experience for me. We sat at the end of the buffet line, but I felt the place was real good. If I were to guess, probably around 64ish degrees. Overall, food was below average for me, a busser picked up our dishes, and the atmosphere was kids going crazy. Parking was easy.

Very decent Mediterranean food. There are quite a few options to choose from. Please note that they will charge you per pound of food that you do not eat so don't load up your plate with food that you cannot eat. You must wear gloves when handling the food (thank God). I have had better Mediterranean food, but not for the price. I'm used to $20 a plate for lunch and this was $17. The restaurant is huge with plenty of seating. Everyone we encountered was very nice and asked us how we were doing today. They have a great drink selection that includes rose water. Yummy!!

Afrah is THE place to be for Mediterranean food - before Greenville Ave became Arab central, before there was anyone, there was Afrah. A beautiful, airy restaurant with gorgeous seating, a bustling dessert case, ice cream center and so many treats to offer under one roof. Afrah is to the Muslim community in Richardson as a glove is to a hand. It truly is a one stop shop for all your nostalgic cravings, and it would be a grave injustice on my part if I didn't stop by here and sing praise to one of the most loved Mediterranean restaurants in the DFW area. We visited here recently for an iftar buffet experience and were very very happy with the food we got. The buffet line was running smoothly, from staff working diligently to hand everyone a tray with napkins, plates and cutlery already set for you. Waiters were going around the massive dining hall clearing plates, making sure everyone had what they needed, seating patrons and asking if everything tasted good. This establishment runs like a literal well oiled machine and I am so impressed. The food was as always out of this world. Carefully prepared menu that satisfies everyone's taste buds. A good selection of classic cold appetizers like the baba ghanoush, hummus, and variety of salads. Always including something unique for a typical Middle Eastern flare. Hot lentil soup available with bowls carefully placed in the vicinity. So many different types of kebabs and freshly made hot pita bread being replaced like clockwork. The buffet had many of my favorite classics like Shawarma meat, beef kebab, chicken kebab. Lamb, chicken stew, baked chicken, everything was present in abundance. They even had salmon which I deeply appreciated as a seafood lover. My only complaint is the food wasn't hot enough which can be annoying with a buffet that is serving so many people during a busy time like Ramadan. Everything tasted absolutely phenomenal and when I returned for dessert, I was greeted with six different types of sweets from all over the world. That's the thing about this place. There's always something for everybody. The dining hall was bustling with not just Muslim patrons, but also a lot of American white patrons who equally enjoy the food here as much as we do. Inclusions of dishes like shrimp pasta, fried fish, chocolate mousse, and other fan favorites is a humble nod to non-Arab customers who love to frequent this place as much as we do. If you are looking for a quality Mediterranean experience look no further than this long-standing Mediterranean Haven. Thank you for nourishing the community.

There wasn't really any service to speak of since its buffet style. The ambiance was a pretty typical cafetera style restaurant. The sauces are amazing - tzatziki, hummus, baba ghanoush, and more. I personally love the chicken cooked in a yogurt sauce, roasted cauliflower, and chickpea moussaka as my top standouts, but truly there are too many delicious things to name. I love how many chicken options there are as someone who isn't crazy about beef or pork. There is also falafel and plenty of beans for your vegan/ vegetarian friends. There were markers for allergies / preferences on the labels, but I didn't attend too closely as I don't have dietary restrictions. They have tasty rice pudding topped with pistachios and fresh fruit as something sweet to pair with your meal. I enjoy the lentil soup for dipping pita bread in. All you can eat buffets are always the best for getting to try everything and making everyone in your party happy. It's a bit on the expensive side (around $25 per person before tip), but it's totally worth it for special occasions. So he said it was over $84 for three people. I complained a little to him about it and went on, THEN my wife heard the lady next to my male cashier charge someone the $25 flat with no tax!!!! I of course went and asked her WHY???? She said because the other guy paid with cash.... There is not tax!!!! I said you mean a credit card fee right?? She said NO.... If you pay cash there is no tax!!!!! I'd like the Great State of Texas to look into this one. I bet the comptroller would like to know about this!!!
