This is the first time we've been here and we'll be back. The atmosphere was very nice and it was very clean. There was a wide variety of foods and they were very good. We left full and very satisfied. I would have given this place 5 stars, but the front of house staff needs to really step up their game. She was on the phone 95% of the time, there were 5 dirty tables that remained dirty the whole time we were there, the iced tea was empty and the ice cream pretty much was too. We miss the atmosphere and quality of Terra Mediterranean since it closed, but Dimassis actually has many more options for vegetarians. We have been to the Richardson location and now the Fort Worth location numerous times. Always enjoyed the food, but sadly to say the food this time was not good. The only decent dish was the beef kabob and meatballs. All the other dishes were sub par. It is a shame but we will not be going back. read more

My husband loves Greek food so we decided to try this place out. $45 for two for the weekend buffet and they are cheaper during lunch and during the week. It's completely self service and casual setting. We were so impressed with the food. Everything was fresh and delicious. My favorites were the gyro meat, the hummus, and the AMAZING baklava. I have eaten here several times over the last 4 years. First it is pricey for a buffet. 50$ for 2 people. Second I rate a restaurant on the soup. For the last three years the Lentil soup was so full of flavor. I usually have two bowls. I visited Sunday 5/19. The lentil soup tasted like they were adding hot water and lacked flavor. The Greek salad was also my next fave. This i literally had to dig to find two olives. The rice was overcooked and mushy. The lamb was boiled and bland. Also they are mixing in curry dishes now. Curry and Mediterranean don't taste good together. I hope this place and get back on track with great food with a Mediterranean flavor profile and leave the Indian food to the Indian restaurant s. read more

I've only picked up from Dimassi's, but I've enjoyed it every time. If you order there they give you a container to fill from the nice buffet, gloves and masks are required. If you order online or call in they have it bagged and ready to go on the counter as walk in. Easy peasy. The food is tasty and fresh. Definitely the best pita on this side of town! read more

We walked as first timers to the place not knowing what to do. Asked if we seat ourselves. Didn't get an answer. Found a table then went to get a plate. After 5 minutes of searching through the " clean plates" trying to find an actual clean plate, we gave up and left. Just not big on whipping dead gnats off of plates. read more

Well let's start with the place it clean nice and the employee all use mask. Let's get to the food well it was not bad but for Mediterranean and the lamb was good. The rest of what I tried was ok. Food was pretty bland... I love the concept and there were certain items that were good but overall needed more spice to be considered Mediterranean. The place is clean, has a great ambiance and is well staffed, as there were new trays being brought out constantly. I have never left a Mediterranean buffet hungry but this was so bad we barely ate. Chicken was so dry it was like sawdust. Hummus was bland and the rest of the food was just not good. I would not recommend this place and I would not go back. Also, there was a Muslim prayer service in the middle of the restaurant while we ate dinner. ******FYI: There was a large group of employees and patrons that cleared out the tables, put down rugs, and prayed on floor. NOT COVID19 SAFE We visited Sunday and were pretty disappointed. We love both Houston and the woodlands location and were very excited for Dimassi's to open a store front in Fort Worth. Sunday night's visit was far more then underwhelming. Everything on the buffet line was was cold and the women sorting the utensils at the hostess kiosk wearing gloves was picking her nose, touching her face, texting on her phone and coughing into her gloves hands while sorting utensils during our entire visit. I didn't want to post this review but I feel as if it's necessary especially during these time. Granted, im sure the food is wonderful, hell, their fresh pita was great, but this rating isn't based on what they had, it's based on what they didn't. How the heck does a Mediterranean restaurant run out of Gyros? I was a bit disappointed when they didn't have it on the buffet, but I wasn't angry, for all I knew, the restaurant never had it (though who would believe such) When I went to pay my tab (nearly $20 with not a slice of Kronos lamb to be found) the young lady at the till asked "how was everything?" To which I replied that I was disappointed with my first ever trip there... she replied "gyros, right?" THAT was when I got angry... they KNEW it was a main draw, they KNEW that customers would not be happy, and yet they did nothing to let people know of the shortage, while continuing to charge full price. The young lady dutifully said "sorry one of our suppliers didn't deliver today, we will have gyros tomorrow." To which I replied, "I am here today, I'll not be coming back tomorrow" Right or wrong, I was left feeling cheated and foolish for paying nearly $20 and not getting what I wanted. They could have posted a notice on the door stating their lack, or even dropped the price by a buck or two as a way of letting their clients know that they understood the customers position... but no, they simply hid the lack of arguably one of their main attractions in the interest of keeping profits up. I don't give a DARN if they never run out of gyros again, because, I for one will NEVER give them another dime of my money. read more

BUT the kicker was the baklava was TERRIBLE.. as in inedible. No self respecting Greek restaurant should offer this disaster. Since Terra closed doors An on West 7th I was excited to find another Mediterranean buffet. We went for lunch on a Monday and they had a great selection of salads, sauces and meats. I was disappointed they did not have roasted cauliflower but my meal was still great! I love the big variety of items on the buffet, but several of the items have a vinegar/sour like taste and smell. The dips all do especially. Any of the eggplant dishes they offer tend to be a little bitter to the palette. I've checked them out 3 times so far and none of the buffet items have changed. The staff doesn't come by to check on any of the tables n quite frankly, they are lacking on any customer/staff interaction. Other then that it's still a good place for a quick bite. read more

First the only reason I didn't rate 5 stars is because of the pricing. I loved the buffet style of this place and the plentiful options of vegetarian and meat but for the both of us it was about $50. The food was outstanding my favorite was the tabbouleh and his was the lamb gyro meat. When we first came it there was a very kind lady that greeted us and explained their system you can come in, grab a plate, and pay before you leave everything's completely self serve and there was plenty of food. It's nice, spacious, and clean. Will definitely come here again but wish I took pictures!! read more

Huge spread of delicious Mediterranean food. The vast majority is delicious. If you ever wanted to sample the glory that is Greek/Middle Eastern, Dimassi's is perfect. This is a buffet, but very little of the dishes tasted old. They tend to keep the food rotated well. Salads are fresh and crisp. Meats are well cooked and hot (sometimes a little on the dry side, but hey...Buffet!!). DE-LICIOUS food and great decor! I went here for the lunch buffet, and it's some of the best Mediterranean food in the DFW Metroplex. The buffet was yummy, plentiful, and clean. It had something for everyone--veggie and meat lovers. The rose water and multiple types of Baklava with soft serve were a nice touch. Plenty of space. Would definitely recommend sitting in the indoor patio area during the day--the sun comes in and heats the room nicely. There's also a seniors discount. Had lunch here today and the food was amazing. Food bar was super clean, even had disposal gloves to west when getting your food. All of the 30+ food dishes were beautifully decorated and prepared with little cards explaining what each item was. When you choose to go to a buffet you might find they're very rare now. But if a buffet can do it right this would be one of them. They did it right because there's hand sanitizer at the front of the line as well as hand gloves, so you don't have to touch every spoon. I love that, very smart. my 4 star review should be a 3 star but I think they can improve. This was on 12 March 2023. I was in the neighborhood getting my toenails painted and noticed this restaurant. The reviews were hit or miss, so I decided just to try it myself. You can't go somewhere and get a bunch of dishes and expect all of them to be the perfect temperature or the perfect look but pick your favorite and try and compare. The chicken curry was a little watery, but tasty. I love the peas inside them. The Gyro meat at first plate, which is only one piece to try, was a bit dry. But once I saw them reload, I tried the meat fresh or just off the rolling pin and yummy. Pretty tasty. They have a huge selection, but if you see that you like some thing and it's dried out or been sitting a little longer than usual wait for the reload and go pick out the Hot items, sometimes at the bottom of the pan as they circulate who knows. The cauliflower is one of my favorites, and it was very tasty. The hummus was OK, and the Tahiti was good. There was quite a few dishes that were really good. I like how they have small little plastic cups for different sauces to keep separate and I like how they have bowls next to the curry. Rice was delicious The bathroom was very gross. The female bathroom that is, even the worker came in there and had to clean the toilet really good just for her self to use the toilet. All the toilet seats are loose and need to be tightened. They should be done on a regular basis when you have multitudes of different people using the bathrooms at different weights and sizes. I don't know why Businesses are so lazy to tighten the toilet seat the toilet and the bathroom are definitely neglected. The walls should be wiped down any peoples fluids should be wiped off regularly just as much as your wiping and keeping the dining room clean, it makes me wonder about the kitchen. The food is beautifully portrayed on the buffet line and there's a lot of selection at least if you try it once you won't be let down, but you may or may not come back. they do offer a military discount and I was grateful for that. Thank you very much. The lady who's cleaning the tables did come through and clean my table. I did let her know not to clean my table when my table was not ready to be cleaned and she listened and was nice. The lady at the front checking people out. I know it's a little different than it used to be but I don't recommend having an earpiece in your ear doing something else like texting or calling or listening to music that person should also be running around if it's that slow and helping people get refills on waters, etc. etc. that might get them some tips or at least put them to work doing some other things like marketing but not just watching a YouTube video or listening to music I don't like that. read more

This Mediterranean buffet is the cleanest buffet I've ever seen! There are many options to choose from no matter what your diet is and the food is delicious! You just walk in and go straight to the buffet and then find your table, it's very easy in and out! Great for large groups and no waiting if you're not one of those who doesn't like to make reservations. read more
