The BBQ puffs were my favorite they were delicious!!!! the server was friendly and attentive, Sam the manager? Was also waiting on us and too, was friendly and answered all our questions. They were still working to perfect their trade when it came to customer service, but since they just opened a week a go I can't expect them to be perfect. The quality of the dim sum I had before was not as good when I came and ate there today. The shrimp dumplings look so sloppy and the pork dumplings are so bland that I need to actually put more soy sauce than usual. The front house staff are ok with their friendliness but got over exaggerated they even asked me 3 times how is everything and asked 2 times if they can get my plate even though there's 2-3 more dumplings left which really disturbed my lunch time. And when I walked out the door they did not even said thank you for visiting their place. I studied, worked, and trained for the restaurant industry for 7 years. Our favorite Chinese place is closed due to the holidays we were craving Soup so we came here and first of all they give u the choice of where to sit which is cool. We sat down at a booth and it is private no one can see you. Our food was out pretty quick and looks fresh and yummy it was very tasty I got the sizzling rice soup and my boyfriend the war wonton soup can't complain it is almost as good as our favorite Chinese place. The place also looks tidy and cleaned up which comforts me the waiter was on point with our drinks also. We will be coming back for sure. The price is a little expensive but the food is good. We ordered much more than we could possible consume, but that's the fun part of dim sum! We had shrimp dumplings, pork dumplings, sichuan dumplings, pork and shrimp rice rolls, steamed Chinese broccoli, vegetable dumplings, sesame balls with sweet beans, and hot tea. Everything came fresh out of the kitchen and we never had to ask for a refill on anything. We ordered the lunch specials I ordered kung pao shrimp, and my husband ordered Mongolian triple plate, For appetizers we ordered shrimp balls and veggie spring rolls. The food itself was the definition of "meh" - tasteless. I ordered the shrimp dim sum, pork dimsum and then a BBQ beef or pork dim sum in a large sweet roll - it was mostly roll, hardly any filling.
