Good food! I got the pizza burger and my fiancé had the tee burger! Will stop whenever I'm in the area!

No Fast Food....Fresh, cooked to order. Reasonable prices, great shakes and food. I highly recommend the Old Fashion Cheeseburger.

I get being slow because of COVID, but extremely rude staff and 45 minute wait for very average food.

I know there isn't many ice cream places around, but even if there was Willy's would top the list…read more Willy's ice cream is the best. I'm a fan of soft serve ice cream, and the combination of desserts that Willy's offers are amazing. I've tried many different items from Willy's and I have never been disappointed. I am a milkshake fan so that's usually my go-to at any ice cream place. Willy's has a great milkshake. Blended perfectly. Simple and filling, but not overloaded. The prices aren't bad either. Also, if you're a fan of chocolate and peanut butter then try their "peanut butter lovers parfait" with chocolate ice cream. That's usually the item I go for if I don't get a milkshake. They also have a flavor of the week, which they change every Monday. Not in this order, but the flavors are: Strawberry, blueberry, black raspberry, black cherry, lemon, orange, coffee, banana(which is new), and maple(there beginning and ending flavor). They're all great! It's fun to blend some of them with other flavors as well. It's great place to sit around at any time of the day and enjoy a nice cold treat. They do get busy, and they don't have a drive-thru so be prepared to stand for a little bit if they are busy. The staff is really friendly and do their best to get things out efficiently, though. It's unfortunate that their only open for 7 months out the year. I would grab some Willy's ice cream throughout the whole year. Something to look forward to after they close up. I would absolutely recommend Willy's Ice Cream.

Note: While we waited we were able to review their menu option of items which were listed on the board beside the window where orders are placed. I got the Cookie Monster and my hubs got the Oreo blizzard. We sat at one of the nearby picnic tables under the trees in the shade and enjoyed the tasty treats. Overall I'd recommend this local staple.

I grew up with Tastee Freeze, the first soft-serve ice cream I can remember. I loved that you could…read moreget your cone "dipped" in chocolate or butterscotch. They also had pretty good burgers and hot dogs. The chain started in Illinois, and at its peak had over 1800 locations. There are only 22 stand alone spots now, 6 in Virginia, 1 each in North Carolina & South Carolina. We were on our way back from Richmond when I saw this little place, and we swung to grab a snack. We ordered a cone of Vanilla, and a Chili Dog. The chili dog was very good, but the ice cream was outstanding, as good as we'd remembered it being!

Our 8 year old girl got a banana split and really enjoyed it. Our other 8 year old girl got an Oreo milkshake and said it was as good as Dairy Queen. Our 5 year old boy got a cone with chocolate ice cream in a chocolate shell and really enjoyed it. I got a Reese's Cup blitzen and it was very good with the vanilla ice cream and Reese's Cup mixed in and was hard. The blitzen was way better than Dairy Queen. My wife got a hot fudge brownie and there were two brownies with vanilla ice cream in between. She said it was good but the brownie could have tasted better. Overall, we all really enjoyed it. It is now call Sundae's Restaurant now which was why our phone map app didn't recognize "Tastee Freez" when we typed it in.
