Been there a few times years ago. Just ok beer and food. Always busy. Would not go out of my way.

Food was dry, overcooked and burnt. Even the french fries tasted awful. Hamburger was $24

What a cute dam brewery! We came here for flights and dessert and loved everything about it. The root beer float was on point! All of the beers I tasted were right up my alley and I was happy there were so many Porter/stout options - nothing goes better with vanilla ice cream! Our server was really attentive and made sure our water glasses were always full. Parking was tight in their lot but we managed to get one right as someone else was leaving - phew! read more

Stopped here on a cross country drive. If we planned to stay the night we would have tried some of the adult beverage options, we had to skip those. The French onion soup was delicious, the Flying Dutchman has a apple slaw that is unique and will create a flavor craving. We had great service and would definitely recommend stopping in. read more

Such a fun place with affordable eats and yummy food. We really enjoyed our meal, highly recommend trying them out.

Everything we had was really good. Love eating at Breweries and this one was recommended by the locals. Has an extensive menu. Good beer. Nice craft beer and wine selection and desserts menu. Everything we ordered was really good: Seafood Chowder, Beer & Cheese Soup, Buffalo Blue Burger, Chili Mac n' Cheese. Server was good and food came out quick. Nice experience, would recommend. read more

We stopped in yesterday after realizing that Breckenridge was insanely inundated. The Brewery was also very busy (Duh, Saturday and first day of Fall AND CU game on) but they handled it like pros! We got drinks at the bar and watched Coach Prime get his butt kicked. When we got our table we lucked out. We had the BEST server, Laurie. She was friendly and upbeat, not just with us, I watched her with all of her tables and she just rocked! Our drinks were never empty, she told us her favorite menu items which turned out to be what we were eyeing...The Caprese salad (OMG!) Ale onion soup and Chicken fried Chicken. I am a member of The Clean Plate Club now! I've been to the Brewery many times and have never been disappointed but this experience needs to be noted. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome THANK YOU Dillon Dam Brewery and Laurie, You are Great! Janna & Jonny read more

Wings, beer, and a great view what is there to complain about. We stopped here before going to the ice castles (beautiful). We had both the sauces for the wings and both delicious. I would stick with the tradition if you r weak with heat but try the habanero if you think you can handle. I also had the green chili! Very good and spicy! Perfect for the cold day. We sat upstairs and they have a huge window with amazing views. Cabin feel. read more

Fun place to eat, not a terrible wait, The beer cheese dip was not very good, it was clumpy, almost powdery. Some of our food was good, some needed a little more seasoning & a burger that someone got was as hard as a hockey puck! I really wanted to give this place a 3.5/5. It's solid but not somewhere that you're going to have an incredibly memorable meal. read more

Letter to Dillon Dam Brewery, Dear D.D.B, Thank you for a wonderful dinner! I didn't mind waiting 30 minutes on a Thursday night or 60 minutes on a Friday night just to eat your wonderful, flavorful burgers! I was so glad you offered vegetarian options too! The beers were fabulous and one of the weirder things I've ever drank was the Christmas Tree in a Glass, which was beer flavored with Blue Spruce tips. Wow, that was nuts. I also liked the Chili-flavored beer. It was spicy but not enough to burn my mouth like the Ghostrider Veggie burger with meat options - that one had candied jalapeno peppers. I didn't like the Green Chili Alfredo, though. That one was bland and flavorless and to tell you the truth, I make better at home. The Seafood Chowder was just alright. It had really tiny pieces of sea creatures in them; not too sure what I was eating. The Monster Brownies were insane! It was $8.50 worth of a LOT of ice cream and really yummy brownies. Your servers were very friendly and so were the bartenders. I just walked up to the bar to order a beer and got one immediately, even though there were about 80 people standing around me. The prices are super good. For three dinners, two beers and a Monster Brownie, we paid around $59 without the tip. That's amazing. We loved the merchandise as well. We bought some Dillon Dam biking socks ($13) by Sock Guy but skipped the bike jersey because we didn't need any and it was expensive. The parking sucks, but that's a testament to your packed establishment. Next time we'll definitely be back, but we'll only order the burgers and beer and the desserts and skip all the other meal options as they weren't very good. Thanks again for the dam good food. Aloha and see you again in a few years. read more

The burgers were excellent and juicy. Best burgers hands down! The service was excellent as well and even though wait was a long time they did provide a nice and very relaxing place to sit and wait. The ambiance was so nice as well that there is very little room for any improvement. I loved this place! read more

Unfortunately the Dillon Dam Brewery was a great disappointment. Despite having a reservation we waited to be sat in a dismal table with a server who waited 15 minutes just to great is, lean against the table getting far too close to me waist high and to ask for our order with an extreme level of rudeness and lack if care. This was made even more apparent when he only brought one of our beverages out leaving my husband and I to share the one beer he actually delivered. The rest of the meal was equally as rude and neglectful. We are a young and chill couple who are happy to be patient and have compassion with busy servers. However, this restaurant as a whole (including other servers) seemed to be intentionally rude and neglectful of anyone not a local or friend of the manager. Sadly this was our dinner experience for my birthday celebration pre-concert. read more

We stopped by the Dillon Dam Brewery on our way back from Vail--we'll definitely return. The food was excellent--especially the chili. Jen was our server and she was amazing--friendly, fast and fun! She had a fabulous and genuine smile and really made our lunch enjoyable. read more

We were driving back to Vail from the Georgetown railroad loop and randomly saw a sign on the freeway and decided to come here for lunch! It was pretty busy for a Thursday afternoon but we were seated immediately. Service was great! My husband ordered 4 beers on a flight and enjoyed all of them - so much we even brought back a crowler of IPA for $10. My husband ordered the dam bison burger and I built my own chicken burger with braised onions and bacon - no bun. The food was delicious! The chicken was super good and my husband really enjoyed his bison burger. Really neat spot and I'm glad we decided to spontaneously check it out! read more

Literally the worst food I have ever had! Husband ordered fish and chips that were so old and rubbery- he couldn't eat it. Fries were old and ice cold. I ordered Bbq pork sandwich. Came out ice cold with old, cold fries. Daughter order chicken tenders. Tenders were edible but fries were cold and crunchy. This is after waiting 30 minutes to order. This restaurant use to be good but is no longer worth the wait or hype. You are better off eating at McDonald's!! Horrible food and service. STAY AWAY!! read more

If you like beer, hearty food, and a little spice, this is your place for the after ski meal while staying in Summit County. We came over after a busy day at Copper Mountain during Thanksgiving Break 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed our early dinner at Dillon Dam Brewery. The memories of that chipotle stout beef stew over smashed potatoes are making my mouth water as I type, and my dining partner loved his chicken fried chicken. Portions are huge and the seasonal brew selection offers something for everyone (who likes beer). My choice was the Winter Chili Ale and it burned in just the right way. Oh, yeah, there's also a kid's menu, and our son loved his huge bowl of buttered curly pasta with asiago cheese ($7 with fruit cup and a drink). My only complaint (and I'll admit it's a pretty flimsy one) is that it's nowhere near the actual dam & has no lake view. Maybe they should have named it, "This is as close as we could get to Dillon Dam Brewery." That doesn't quite flow off the tongue as nicely, though, I suppose. Other good-to-knows: - Brunch served Fri-Sun, 11a-3p - Vegetarian and GF options available - TVs at the bar for watching sport ball - Beer & cheese soup, yes! - daily specials & HH discounts https://www.dambrewery.com/deals-coupons/ read more

Our server, Jen was amazing! So friendly & helpful! We have been coming to the Dillon Dam Brewery for years and our favorite food item had always been the Colorado Poutine! We were so disappointed to find out that it had been taken off the menu!!! We spoke with Jen about it and she had it re-created for us & it was just FABULOUS!! PLEASE consider putting this back on the menu!! And if you want to know how it was made, just ask Jen!! She explained to the chef what we wanted & it was perfect!! read more

Service was good, great selection of beer, food was just average had the chicken fried chicken with green beans and it was all very salty.

Despite being packed on a Saturday afternoon, our 45 minute wait was only about 25 minutes. We had time to look over the menu and promptly ordered as soon as we were greeted by our server. We ordered the nachos and a warm spinach salad. The nachos were huge and could easily feed 4 people. Although they were pretty darn good, they really skimped on the black beans. Just a few were sprinkled in the middle as more of a garnish versus the main ingredients. The spinach salad was wonderful and I would order that again and again! The service was so-so, our waitress never once checked on our table or made sure our drinks were full. She was never unpleasant, perhaps a bit overwhelmed but a check in at least once would've been nice. Overall, this was a pretty good restaurant and I would give it a go the next time in town. read more

We actually ate here twice on our trip. Our kids are at the perfect age that the restaurant name is hilarious to them. Aside from that, the food was tasty and the beer was good. Service was good each night. A great place after a day of skiing. read more

This place was such a treat! We did have to wait about a half hour before getting a table but I can see why. They have distanced indoor dining as well as outdoor by the fire pits. They do to go drinks and have an amazing selection. Good beers and great cocktails. The staff is very attentive and was very polite. I love that they ask your names and phone numbers to do contact tracing. I have yet to see any other restaurants or businesses do that. To eat we had a burger and nachos. The burger tasted great and the nachos were huge, could easily feed a family of four. If your in the area I highly recommend a visit here! read more

Dillon Dam Brewery is a must-visit for burger fans. The burgers are delectable, expertly cooked, and thoughtfully presented. But what sets this place apart is the outstanding service, particularly our waiter Shamus who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor were much appreciated. We highly recommend Dillon Dam Brewery for its exceptional food and service. Had some issues with the chicken tenders being undercooked...1/3 tenders on both my plate and my boyfriend's was ICE cold. Never experienced that before. When we told the bartender, I was kind of turned off from the tenders and changed to the sloppy joe. We understand mistakes happen, so we weren't upset at all but the manager Brandon came by and comped our meal, he was so sweet. Sadly, the second time my boyfriend's chicken came out we could see the fries were covered in grease and the chicken was literally sizzling on top of the fries and pretty much burned. He was pretty turned off by then, so he boxed it up to go but threw ended up throwing it away when we got home. Sad this happened because this was one of our first date restaurants. Regardless of the chicken fiasco, the French onion soup was amazing and my sloppy joe was great. read more

Jen was our server, fun, funny, knowledgable, quick and hospitable! Food and beer were great too!

The food was ok but nothing to write home about. The fish and chips were more breading than fish. The burger was decent although the bun was so thick it felt like eating way too much bread. The service was great. The beer was sortof disappointing, especially after trying other nearby breweries. read more

We had a really lackluster experience here last night. We arrived to a full parking lot and a 45-minute wait. We agreed because the reviews were so good. And so we waited with a beeper. And waited. Finally, I took the beeper to the desk and asked how much longer the wait would be. The server told me they had "forgotten" our number and blamed the mistake on a shift change. No apology but we were seated immediately. And then we were ignored for another 10-15 minutes. We ordered two appetizers, the sausage & pretzel bit skewers, and the wings. By the time the food arrived, we had been waiting a full 90 minutes. The food was completely edible but unremarkable. The beer was OK. We left unsatisfied and went to the Baker's Brewery up the hill and got a big cookie for dessert. There are several breweries in Silverthorne-- don't go to Dillon Dam Brewery unless you enjoy feeling like part of the herd. read more

Based on the reviews and how busy this place was, I was really expecting it to be good. My fiancé and I showed up on a Sunday night around 7pm and it was packed. We didn't mind waiting and the host told us we could grab a beer from the bar and hang out while we waited (15 mins) for our table. Before we even got our beers, a table became available, which pleasantly surprised us. After being sat, our server (who's name I can't remember, sorry!) was prompt and friendly. I ordered a cup of green chile with a side salad and my fiancé got a burger and fries. My green chile was okay, but nothing to rave about. My fiancé's burger tasted good, but was over cooked to his liking. The amount of fries as the side to the burger was disappointing and some of them were luke warm. Neither of us finished our meal. All in all, a pretty mediocre experience. I expected more from a place that had a good sounding menu and lots of business on a Sunday night. read more

What's better than cold weather and beer? Not alot friends, not alot...... Stopped in here the other day while perusing around the town of Silverthorne. This place totally reminded me of Dumb and Dumber and has a lodge feel to it making me feel right at home in the mountains. They have a huge wrap around bar and were pretty packed for a Saturday afternoon. For it being a brewery there were tons of kids in the place but the acoustics worked well so we really didn't hear them as much as we could've---thank you Dillon Dam!! For there's nothing more I hate than a child interrupting my peaceful shopping trips or when I'm drinking a cold one. The beer didn't disappoint and it was lighter than other raspberry beers I've had in the past and both sweet and tart. In the past taking a chance on brewery food has been a crap shoot. When I saw the sandwiches were named sammys on their menu, I really didn't have too high hopes for their food. I wanted something warm and that would fill me up but didn't want to get too fill from a cheeseburger so I ordered the portobello sandwich with cheese, spinach and chopped roasted peppers. Alright, let's talk food. This completely took me off guard-the size, the flavor, the hot, fresh fries, it had it all! By the time I was finishes, I was practically licking my plate. A few others had a side of their homemade ranch to dip their fries in and it was some of the best I've ever had (if you see the size of my booty, you would see I've had a lot of ranch in my day) all in all, a solid meal and great beer selection. They could offer better drink specials instead of $1 off the beer of the day but that's just my cheap self talking. Great place to stop while in Silverthorne! read more

3 1/2 stars. One word to describe it would be 'OK'. Menu and decor probably hasn't changed in 20 years and both could use a deep clean and makeover. The food was good and comforting. Quality beer, lots of beer choices, good vibe! Great place Dillon to chill after skiing.

I came here after a long day of snowboardijng at Breckenridge around 4pm and we were immediately seated. I ordered the beef stew with bread bowl and I loved it! The beef stew was so flavorful with the stout and chipotle flavoring. It was extremely filling and the bread was just the right crispy. Beef is cooked just right and not dry. I paired the entree with the Schwartzbier, german Lager, and they complimented each other well, neither overpowering the other. I was absolutely stuffed after devouring everything and left very satisfied. read more
