The big deal is that it's not usually open to the public and when I saw Nadine C post of her discovery I just had to check it out for myself as I do love their items and don't we all use their gift bags at one celebration or a simple gift. Located right in Kalihi right beside the 7-Eleven they do have a few dedicated stall making it easy to swing by, as I've passed here numerous times and never knew it as here lol! The deal is amazing though it's a minimum of $50...okay I thought that I could do it though with many items that are dedicated for Christmas including their newest design of Spam Musubi all are just adorable but just too much for me. I circled around and really wanted a few items but realized that I won't make it unfortunately as this tiny shop is filled with so many items including all sizes of cellophane bags, gift bags, tags, gift card holders and even a clearance rack in the back. Loved seeing this place and very generous to introduce themselves with an open house and appreciate allowing us to view their inventory was something that I really enjoyed. Thank you!

My wife and I originally stopped in to pick up a few goodies to mail to family in the mainland, but as soon as we stepped inside, I got completely distracted by all the beautiful items on display. To top it off, they were running a 20% off sale, which was a wonderful surprise. I've walked pass this store several times over the years at Ala Moana and never knew what it was. They do have some really nice high end items that are being sold on eBay. Got to Ala Moana Tuesday morning at 10 am when they opened up. My family and I were buzzed into the store. I said I wanted to sell items to them. We were told only bags, purses, muumuus, aloha shirt ok, but no shoes or toys. The three items I could sell to them was a new with tags Michael kors purse I bought in 2020 that I never used. People online were selling the same purse at $255, a 2013 San Diego comic con original Batman cast swag bag and a new and unused Victoria secret marketing bag. The very sweet clerk put the items into a bin, gave me number and said it would take 30-mins to review the items. We took a few minutes to browse the store and they do have some really nice items. Really good place to come to if you were eying a specific LV purse a few years ago that sold out before you could get to it. It might be here for a few $100 less. Im told that LVs in good condition tend to keep their value. I didn't have breakfast so we headed to the food court. While eating, got a phone call that they were done with evaluating the items. I kind of knew what I was going to be offered for my MK purse and I got a bit more than I expected. For the other two items, I'm surprised I got an offer but they were in really good condition. All in all, I made $51. This was a great learning experience and we will definitely be back to both sell and shop. Next, looking forward to trying a consignment closet.

I never ever considered shopping at a second hand store let alone to sell my items that I no longer need/use that I usually do donate rather than to just toss it away is always a great solution not just to make some extra money but just knowing that it's not the end of the road for many loved items. If Eco-Town Select which is located ocean side in Ala Moana Center is located on the street level which is one level below the mall level sounds familiar they do have Eco Town in Iwilei which does buy more standard item while this Ala Moana location is much more selected. It's understandable and quite refreshing to see their inventory of upscale and brand name items along with more popular trend items as well. While I was browsing around I was more interested in some of their jewelry more costume ones that were holiday themed that I do have an idea for its use is cool to see along with vintage Japan Airline bags, various brand Aloha Shirts, totes, shoes and even Disney ears which I have a similar one that lights up. The staff there is friendly as they greet each guests that walks in the door and even made sure that they're always open to purchase our items. Small business like this that gives items life is great as the price isn't only that's nice but the selection of item that's selected as well. Thank you!

When…read moreyou have some items that you no longer use a trip to Eco Town should be your first stop as it could be rewarding more than you know though it's been awhile since I've taken anything to Eco Town and since the pandemic a lot have changed. First of all the many items they once have taken like kitchen ware (mugs, and some decor) and clothes (aloha shirts are still needed) they no longer accept. They do still take shoes and bags and plushies many items have shifted as the supply and demand have as well. Now knowing that i did have a few items that were pretty much brand new and they did take two of the three items which i wasn't surprised at all but one item they didn't accept was a huge disappointment but was glad that the other two were sold. Keep in mind that it's never going to be the price you have in mind but making the quick sale is a great option and Eco Town is that and who know you may find !something you like in return making it a great deal for items that is needed. There is always something new and I'll always find a rare collectible or nostalgic gem. It's a pretty medium sized space with what they have and it can get a little congested in the aisles if there are already two people there. As a buyer, I do enjoy it since the deals are decent and not bad for certain items. Now, as seller, it's a different story. I wish I saw the reviews before selling here. It was my first time selling at Ecotown and I had some old wallets and bags I wanted to sell since I no longer use them. They're just collecting dust and chillin in my room. Granted some of these are brands and also collectibles. For my fossil wallet, usually can range $30+ I got back $3. It was used but I kept it in good, functional condition. A rare character backpack that is still in mint condition, not used, and no longer sold anywhere besides resold online, I got $30 back, but I checked that it can go up to $50+. I was rather disappointed by the outcome, but it is what it is. I believe as a seller, I'll come here as the last resort or if I just need to just get rid of items. They do ask if the amount is ok, but if I'm trying to just clean out my space and get rid of items with no hassle then so be it.

She helped my 11-year-old son with the Warhammer tiny models, taking the time to explain everything needed to get started in painting. Her thorough and detailed explanations really made a difference. "Kaitlynn" was incredibly authentic and genuine - it's rare to find such dedication and care in customer service these days. I really appreciate her outstanding work and wanted to applaud her for it. Located in Pearlridge Mauka, near Macys, this store is open 10 AM to 8 PM daily except on Sundays when they close at 6. They are an anime store, with a lot of inventory of toys, action figures, and other type of collectibles. They are on the more expensive side, but tbh honest what isn't? You may find a better deal at maybe animation magic upstairs but I feel like Mini Q has a better selection and is geared more towards anime. The workers there are also very nice and helpful. Just as a tip, I just call them to ask if they have what I want in their store or something equivalent. They offer good recommendations when possible and even suggested I check out Razor when they didn't have the item I wanted in stock.
