I have heard that this is Lincoln's most well known 'dIve bar'. As dive bars go it is actually very nice. There's a great vibe, a fun and energetic crowd and the place is clean and quite respectable. And, it's been around a very long time. We came for dinner at 6pm and easily found a place to sit. In the main bar area there are primarily high tables with bar type seating. It's comfortable and just fine for a meal and good conversation. It is loud and gets noisy, but hey, it's a bar! The service was incredible, friendly, helpful, attentive and right on the mark for what they do. They deserve 10 stars. We were walked through the available beers and I had an IPA, on tap, that was excellent. At one point the owner came over to introduce himself and talk with us, a really great guy with a sense of humor, and you can tell he really enjoys and appreciates the business and what he does. 10 stars too. That alone prompted me to want to return. On Friday and Saturday night they have prime rib, our main reason for coming here was to try it out. The meal was humongous with a large cut of meat, mashed potatoes with cheese and bacon, plus some veggies. I had my cut medium rare. There was enough that I took some home. The flavor, taste and variety was truly quite good, at a very good price point. The only issue, which really is not great, was that the potatoes and veggies weren't nearly warmed. The server was very apologetic and ready to get it corrected. They have music and live entertainment which is a great compliment, and on this evening had karaoke. Overall, it was a very nice experience, albeit the one glitch in the food temperature, but everyone there was definitely out to make it a good experience. Dillian's is definitely a "dive bar. " That being said, the food was fairly good (but not great), and the staff were super friendly. However, it's not a place I'd expect to return to as I felt it was overpriced. We went for lunch and opted to try their brisket and cheesesteak sandwiches. The cheesesteak was by far the better of the two. Our waitress also suggested trying it with the au jus (from their French dip), which was certainly an upgrade. It came with a handful of fries. Overall, I did feel that it was expensive at $18, especially for the portions and considering this is a dive bar. The sandwiches were good-sized, but you don't get much fries with them. It's a small, cozy space and they only have high-top tables (no ground-level options for people so be aware if you need ADA or have someone who may not be comfortable staying up on the chairs). At lunchtime on a Saturday, there was 1 waitress/bartender helping out, but no wait. They had a small stage and dancefloor set up with what looked like karaoke, there was a fancy jukebox with pay-to-play for songs. Fun and friendly staff! The karaoke nights are a blast and everyone is really supportive. I've only eaten here a couple times and I believe I got the tacos which were enjoyable. The vibe is divey and comfortable, and it is apparent that the staff knows a lot of the regulars that come in. The owners make frequent appearances and since I often visit on my own, I feel like he's always looking out for me. I'd totally bring some friends for karaoke night. read more

Went there a few weeks back and while the food was decent, there were many customers who had way too much to drink and it made for an uncomfortable environment. Hate to start the New Year off like this, but it has to be done. I'm a Lincoln native and have been coming to Dillian's for years and I will give it credit for being a fun night-time spot with an awesome karaoke crowd.... But today's lunch was just soooooo disappointing. We usually call-in nacho orders from this place because the Steak Nachos are always a hit. Today we came in for lunch and the whole vibe was off. There were less than 10 other patrons in the establishment and from what I could tell only 2 of them placed food orders. I got a turkey, avocado melt and the Mrs. got an order of "sizzlin" steak fajitas. Luckily we had the good judgement to Split a 1/2 order of nachos, the saving grace. After about 20 minutes of waiting we overheard that the kitchen staff had "taken a break" and food would be out shortly. Cut to it being a total of a 30+ minute wait and for what? Overcooked, under-seasoned steak fajitas (but definitely not sizzlin) and a sandwich that was executed messily and tasted underwhelming... oh and while we specifically asked for no sour cream on the nachos we were treated to a nice fat dollop in the middle of the plate, so cool. I still have a nostalgic love for this place in my heart. But it's unlikely that I'll be coming back for food anytime soon. I'm a rating it a 3 because the restrooms were ridiculously unclean, female bartender was rude, margarita was not good, and their was water all over the floor. They have two separate areas and one has games (darts, shuffle board, etc) and it closed off from the general bar area and not as loud. Really liked this game room (Minus the water all over the floor. The female bartender was rude. Overall rude. I Understand you get busy but I'm the queen of politeness and I overheard several customers complaining about here while the regular customers reported she was always that rude. The beers are good. I had lunch with my lady today at Dillian's Bar & Grill. We had a quick drink there sometime ago .... but had never tried the food. Nice, laid-back, neighborhood bar atmosphere with friendly, helpful service. Several well positioned TVs offered the would-be viewer multiple sporting events from which to choose. I had a glass of the Wise Villa Red Blend and she had a Boggle Chardonnay. The menu options were surprisingly plentiful, and it took us awhile to decide on what to eat. We ultimately opted for a Turkey Club (me) with fries and the Turkey, Avocado Melt with a side salad for her. The food arrived quickly, and I enjoyed mine very much. Both the sandwich and the fries were good. My partner was less happy with her sandwich which she felt was a little over-saturated with mayo. Still not bad. Prices were very competitive, service was great and I would return for the fries alone. Give this place a try. read more

Simply awful. My partner in crime and I went here. I ordered two Chardonnays over the time of our visit. The young girl suggested two. No clue what I was ordering, my two glasses of wine were $12.50 each!!! Seriously?? It's Lincoln! Not even a decent pour. Complete rip off place. My boyfriend and I took his 80 year old mother and his sister out to Dillians to watch football, we have been there many many times it's one of our small town bars that can be really fun... they've had a lot of business problems and was shut down for a while because I think they weren't following all the rules but anyways we were having a good time until we got our food. We wanted to give them a good time and have food and drinks and football but that's not the way it worked out we get horrible food that is so salty that my saltacholics couldn't eat, now this is after we had to send the wings back because they gave us hot wings instead of barbecue wings. Well, my boyfriend complained once again and said the wings were too salty and he was being very nice but the bartender told him he was being a problem I guess when you get bad food, you're the problem there, and when he went back the next time he was told he was kicked out of there because he is a problem that's not the way you deal with feeding people bad food I don't think I'm ever going to go back again. They don't care about their people they don't care about their business we take people there all the time and that is not never happening again. read more

Last night was my first night at Dillians. My Best friend and her husband are regulars and love it so I was really excited to give this place a try. For the most part the karaoke was fun and depending on the bartender, they can pour a heavy drink. The only reason I am complaining is because of the bartender Cassidy (Brunette). I was closing out my tab when she aggressively said "YOUR CARD IS DECLINED!" And tossed it at me super disrespectfully. As I was investigating what could be wrong with my account, my friend offered to pay with her card and Cassidy rudely waved her hand in my friends face and told us to just leave. After I investigated the card it turned out that she had given me the wrong card. I let her know and she swiftly grabbed my card and tossed it on the bar. I still paid it because I'm not a thief but man was that embarrassing and rude for no reason as it was her fault. Also the salsa is really gross and tastes like water and tomato juice. read more

Definitely an awesome place to go to in you are in Lincoln, CA. The staff are very friendly and customer service is really amazing. This is a bar and grill kind of place that also has Karaoke. Ordered Vodka Cranberries which were quite huge with a lot of vodka in them. Next, I tried the most delicious prime rib dinner. It was tender and cooked perfectly. Much better than the one I made for Xmas. The vegetables were also tasty, along with the delectable garlic mashed potatoes. All for a very low price. Sooooo good--you must try!! It's a karaoke bar!!! Stopped in Lincoln on the way to see FLorida Georgia Line. For a little pre gaming .The bartender was super nice and accommodating, offered great service. Do not go to this bar and grill! I went there with a group of friends because they had karaoke night on the night of my friends birthday. At first everything seemed OK but then later in the night a huge fight broke out. Apparently it was over a woman as far as I was told. The entire bar ended up breaking out into a huge riot. Everyone was fighting and you could not escape. I was a designated driver so I had not been drinking and I was totally lost in the fighting. I was one of the lucky ones as nobody attacked or hit me. I kept trying to push my way out with my friends in tow, when suddenly the police showed up and they sprayed pepper spray all over the bar and grill. Suddenly I couldn't breathe, my eyes were watering, and I was gasping for breath. My friends are older so they immediately went to the bathroom to rinse out their eyes but I didn't know where they went, so I pushed my way towards the exit/entrance until I saw a police officer near (he was just standing there doing absolutely nothing!) and asked him if it was safe to go outside. He said the pepper spray was even worse outside but I could try my "luck." Even with the police there, the fight continued. As I said previously, it was more like a riot which I have never experienced before in my life. I was extremely frightened and one of the bouncers even made the comment that he was giving up and he just walked out the door. I was finally able to get outside and I ran across the street where my car was I got away from all of the pepper spray and fighting. Unfortunately there were a couple of people sitting outside all bloodied up from the fight and in handcuffs. These individuals hadn't been the ones instigating the fighting. They were, in fact, innocent bystanders who had been forced to protect themselves when multiple people jumped and began attacking them. There was also an ambulance taking somebody away who was not even conscious and he was covered in blood as well. One of the staff members had come outside and was standing near me and I asked her if this was a normal occurrence at this bar and she said yes. Apparently fighting and being pepper sprayed is an everyday experience. I used to come to this bar when it first opened and back then, it was a laid-back cowboy bar where people came to have a good time. After this experience and what I have heard, I will neverp in my life go to this establishment. I have never been pepper sprayed before and the after effects of it was awful. Let me add that I was not directly sprayed with the pepper spray but the police were spraying it so much that it filled the entire room as well as outside the bar. My eyes stung and my throat swelled so I couldn't breathe. I definitely never want to experience anything like this again. So if you're looking for a laid-back karaoke bar, this is not the place. If you're looking for a brawl then definitely go there. I would not recommend bringing my family there even for an early night dinner because you never know when a riot will break out and whether the staff is going to do anything about it. This is one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life at any establishment. I also want to say that I was not impressed by the police presence. It didn't seem as if they were trying to get involved at all. They were more interested in spraying pepper spray than anything else. The instigators as well as the innocents were sprayed. While I was outside, one man was screaming that he was going to sue the police because he was not fighting and he was directly sprayed in the face with pepper spray. This is not the kind of behavior I expect from a police force. They're supposed to be there to protect the innocent not pepper spray them. Anyhow this is one of the most awful experiences in my life and I will never go here again as I have said previously. Go at your own risk. read more
