This review is for the James Avery counter inside Dillard's at International Plaza. The selection is generally nice, although a few display spots were empty, which may have been related to the Valentine's rush. My bigger issue is staffing consistency. Each time Ive visited, its been a different person at the counter, and on 2 occasions I was told to come back in 1-2 hours because no associate was available, even though the store had been open for several hours. When someone is there, the service is genuinely helpful and unhurried. I removed one star only because the counter is not reliably staffed during posted hours. read more

I went to Dillard's Wednesday 3/14 between the hours of 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM, and It was a scavenger hunt to find a sales associate to ring up my merchandise. The restrooms resembled bathrooms at a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game. I used the toilet when I first got to Dillards and before I got on the road. The restroom was never cleaned or restocked. read more

Been to many other Dillard's that have those store body guards lol this one doesn't. Staff leaves u be in peace. I got approached after a while looking at their beautiful shoe collection. Like my god! They are beautiful!! They have a 10%-40% sale on some. The store is packed! Perfume area seemed nice, i stay away cuz they always get me! this one has a second floor, with many options to buy or explore. Camping stuff, house stuff n clothes. Im just bummed out this one is way to far for me to drive just cause. I'm happy i came here, sense i parked in this side i will definitely do business with them. They have some shoes i want. I purchased a few polo shirts and two pairs of polo pants on 2/12/25. The shirts were fine. I laundered everything that night. The pants fit terrible after laundering. When I purchased them I told the sales associate my plan was to go home and launder them to see how they fit. If it was bad I would return them. She said no problem. Less than 24 hours after purchase with bag, tags, and receipt in hand the manager told me they don't take anything back they can resell. I was treated terrible. Bad attitude. Etc. I asked her for the trash can and threw them away behind her counter and walked out. I will never ever shop there again. What a ghetto experience. They were 115.00 a pair. Went to Nordstrom and made my purchases. read more

Dillard's is a store with a terrible name, but some good quality stuff. They have a pretty nice Tommy Bahama section as well as some quality shoe choices as well. 5 stars for the shoe guy who answered my questions and assisted me. But 1 star to the associate with which I inquired about an item I was looking for that I've seen at other Dillard's locations. She was standing in the walkway of her section and when I asked, she said she hasn't seen that item. That was pretty much it, no "let's go look it up" or "hey Joella, have you seen xxxxx item this guy is looking for?" Nope, ZERO interest in helping. a customer look for something that could have been looked up somehow. I like shopping at Dillard's, but seriously, what else did she have to do? Ugh. I continued to browse on my own then decided this store didn't need my business. It's amazing how 1 person can completely ruin a perception of a place. read more

A relatively clean and well organized anchor at Tampa International Plaza. We walked through here and explored both floors. I like to check out their accessories and shoes. I didn't find anything to take home this time, but only cause the shoes I liked weren't in my size. The staff we encountered was friendly and offered help. They have staff in section and it was easy enough to find them if you needed them. They also had several register locations open, which was nice. Overall: B Solid anchor location with everything in its place and helpful staff. read more

Normally I stay away from department stores due to cost and variety, but this Dillards has me by surprise. It was mostly due to the kind associate that helped me and my boyfriend find new clothes with only 10 minutes to close. She was very helpful giving input in what kind of shirt would go good with his new pants that we gotvfrom her suggestion earlier. Not at all rushed and was patient when my boyfriend was asking questions. She also gave us a heads up about upcoming deals and whem yo come back to complete the new wardrobe. This associate definitely went above my expectations when comong to a place like this. The price wasnt too bad either considering the items we got. The shirt and pants came out to $86. I'll consider coming back next time im in need for some new clothes and gift ideas. read more

This Dillard's is located within the International Mall in Tampa. Despite the fact that there are several Dillard's across the Tampa Bay area, this one is by far has the largest inventory. I usually make a special trip to this Dillard's for the discounted prices on men's shirts. Don't get me wrong, this is not a discount store but it just has a large area for discounted menswear. There's always lots to choose from. The store is always clean and tidy however, it could stand for a little upgrade of their furniture and fixtures. read more

Came here on my lunch with my coworkers and went straight to the sale racks for purses. WOW, was so amazed at the sale that was happening. We found a few wallets and a purse that were on the 65% off rack but the tags on the items didn't reflect the percentage off. So I took them over to a clerk, who did a price check and since they didn't ring up for the 65% off she honored the price. She was so friendly and helpful. This store is laid out well and is huge. Has its own parking garage as well which makes it nice for parking your vehicle to avoid the FL heat or rain. read more

What a horrible experience. I bought a pair of $100 Dolce Vita sneakers from Dillards of Westfield Brandon mall. Only to realize 3 months later the soles on both shoes would fall apart. I went to exchange them and didn't think it would be a problem considering they still have the shoe on the display shelf and I have the receipt and the box they came in. WRONG! The manager said I couldnt exchange them and I would have to deal with the manufacture but yet I was just in there exchanging a pair of my husbands shoes with no problem. As I mentioned I was just in there exchanging my husbands shoes, the manager informed me they make exceptions case by case. I am torn on this review because while I love their selection, their staff is hit or miss and I'm not a fan of their return policy. I was walking around the store and was looking for dresses. I walked through many of the sections and as soon as some of the staff already heard I had a fitting room and someone was helping me, they were less than helpful. Not every staff member I encountered was like this... there were 2 that were still nice, but probably 4 that wanted nothing to do with me. That's when I realized that they must work on commission, so I asked and sure enough, they do. Hello my name is Christina and I am addicted to buying dresses from Dillard's. I adore the dress selection at the Dillard's at International Mall. Honestly, the dresses they display here are better than any other Dillard's I have seen. I have almost never walked out of this store without a new dress! They have a huge selection that ranges from BCBG to Lilly Pulitzer. You can find sun dresses, party dresses, work dresses, you name it. Every time my mom and sister are in town I drag them to this Dillard's to buy clothes. The sales people are quite friendly and once they notice you carrying items they will whisk it away to a fitting room. I have been to many (and I mean many) Dillard's in my lifetime, and yet I have never found one that I have enjoyed as much as this one. read more

I used to love shopping at Dillard's, but this department store has turned into a chaotic mess. It's annoying to shop here because the clothing racks are so unorganized and the sections are not clearly marked. I no longer attempt to bring my husband shopping here because he loses patience before we can find what we are looking for. Good luck if you need assistance from the sales clerks. Most of the departments at Dillard's are understaffed so the employees are usually too busy to help. It's a shame Dillard's has gone downhill because they carry a lot of my favorite brands. They have a wide selection of my favorite brands and items, and usually an adequate number of fitting rooms, and helpful staff. This particular Dillards is nicer than many I have been too... nicely decorated, very clean, well laid out and easy to navigate. Being attached to International Mall is a bonus too.. lots of other shops to explore, lots of good food options, and a nice place to walk and people watch too. read more

Dillards was always my go to when I was heavier, because they always had a great selection in clothing. What I never knew was what they carried in bras! I am HAPPy to report that they carry La Mysterie! this brand is fantastic for us larger than DD cup girls. They are comfortable, supportive and yes, while expensive, they're not going to break the bank. The girls who work the registers are friendly, but not overbearing. read more

WARNING: The parking for this place is mediocre at best. Upon arrival, I did not find the parking to be very convenient, as the parking garage nearby was completely packed, and I had to cruise around for a good three minutes or so just to find a parking space that was actually pretty far away from the main back entrance. I noticed that many people of all sorts were inside shopping around, but also that this was a store that clearly catered to wealthier customers. As a result, I rated the priciness store as 3 out of 4 so be prepared to bring at least a few hundred dollars with you if you are serious about buying anything here. While it is not a Gucci or Louis Vuitton-tier store, a lot of items are priced well over the $100 range. Me and my group of several friends were a rather noticeable group, so not one but two sales associates immediately came to us offering assistance. This is always a plus and is a sure sign of a well-run business. In fact, it is one of the only signs to go by when critiquing a store on just a single visit. The catchy, upbeat music they were playing provided a relaxing mood for its customers which I thought was good. When I asked an employee if they had any sales for True Religion jeans, I was told no, but a sale for that brand does appear from time to time. The employees were all very friendly looking and smiled a lot, except for one angry looking man who appeared to have been the manager. Sadly, I went from aisle to aisle in the men's clothing section, and found out that there were very few discounts going on in the more expensive brands such as Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, etc. I asked an employee once again, if they had discounts in the women's section as well to see if this non-sale policy extended mostly to just the men's and they said yes (that there were more discounts for women vs men). I will sum up this 2 hour trip with a review with the pros and cons of this store. Pros: helpful, friendly staff. A couple employees seemed very knowledgable in particular about men and women's shoes. If you are looking for a relaxed, no frills shopping experience, then I would recommend Dillard's at the International Mall. Certain products like perfumes and cologne had good product placement and explanations located on signs next to them. Decent selection of music. Cons: Bad parking and a little sloppy display of merchandise in one corner of the store. Very little discounts on all products in general, and there are better places with much better prices for the same exact product. If you're bargain hunting, then stay away from this place. read more

My daughter and I went to the mall for the first time together since covid broke out. Our plan was to return her prom dress that had not been worn at dillards for store credit and get some other type of clothing in exchange. We were turned away by a manager who told us they would do nothing for us since the dress had been purchased in March. I asked for store credit and was denied and also not given any other alternative, in fact they seemed annoyed with us for even asking. This is the last time we will go to dillards and we have been buying dresses there for years. It's really disappointing and funny enough I have relayed this story to three friends who said they do not like it there either as they have a horrible return policy so I guess Nordstroms is the place for everyone to go as they are about the customer. It is sad during a pandemic that they could not make an exception. read more

They charged my credit card twice and said it was declined but it was not. I paid cash. It showed up as a have twice on my bill. A representative from the credit card company tried to help the clerk verify it but to no avail. Two days later another credit card representative tried to speak with Dillard's after I tried to straighten this out and he was sent to numerous people and finally told to call Becky Anderson who had a voice message on her phone. I tried later to reach her so the could avoid a charge back and I could avoid being billed twice more for something I paid for already but she never returned my call. Now I have to dispute a charges that they told me were declined. I have always liked Dillard's but I have hours of my time into resolving their incompetence. This is probably my favorite department store Since they have decent prices for any paycheck level. The customer service is great and they have everything you need. I ordered a comforter and shams for my Daughter in Law for Christmas off of their wedding registry totaling $253. They came to my home in 2 separate orders all wrapped from their registry. I never opened either box and placed them underneath the Christmas tree. They went home and were very excited to make up their bed, Upon opening the shams, somebody had marked through the price with a black magic marker and it stained the new sham. They took it back to Westshore Dillard's in Tampa today to exchange it. They were told by the salesperson and the Department Manager that they would never have done that. They refused to help her, as they could not resell it. The poorest Customer Service I have ever experienced ! Their wedding registry was with Dillard's and this service is unacceptable. I certainly wouldn't recommend this store. I have contacted Customer Service and they immediately offered to replace the sham and sent a complimentary return label. I believe the store needs to learn a lesson in accountability ! read more

Without a doubt, the finest Dillard's department store on the planet. And FYI: THIS STORE IS NO LONGER AT WESTSHORE MALL. IT IS NOW, AND HAS BEEN FOR SOME TIME, AT INTERNATIONAL MALL. I love them. Waaay mo betta than Macy's. The selection surpasses Macy's, the staff are far more welcoming than Macy's, ESPECIALLY THE INTERNATIONAL MALL LOCATION, and the atmosphere is elegant without being stuffy. (For the sake of convenience, I usually shop at Tyrone Mall and I am sad to say, the vibe just ain't the same... ) It's not Neiman Marcus. It's not Target. It's just great labels we can all afford in an elegant location. When I shop, I love to feel doted on and catered to. Why else shop?! Each trip here is worth the ride and the money. One of the reasons that I love Dillard's is the quality. Every time I walk into one of their stores the layout comfortable to read, the apparel quality is long lasting. I have my brands that I love, Antonio Melani, Calvin Klein and Brahmin. I always feel attended to and have never come across a salesperson that wasn't just "about the sale," they make it persnoal with evey transaction. Dillard's has clothing that aspires to be on point for current trends for every budget. Since I am a card holder for the store they understand that people that hold those cards should be rewarded for their repeat business and once every few months send and email to those for a preview sale at 40% off before the rest of the community . They understand that the majority of repeat business is what keeps them alive and pumping and the payoff is getting sale items before the rest. This is something I take advantage of every opportunity given and for that I applaud them. read more

This just might be the place I buy my shoes from now on in place of my long-standing relationship with Nordstrom's...Their selection was beyond what Nordie's had, and a pair even had an additional discount! SCORE! The sales rep, Chad was EXTREMELY helpful with my finicky shoe-shopping habits and even poke extra holes in the ankle straps to acommodate my petite ankles. LOL.
