My favorite TJ Maxx in town! I usually go straight to the pet section to buy balls for my dogs, and I love how well-organized it is by brand, size, quantity, and quality. The customer service here was NOT an issue. I actually found who I had in reaction with to be fine. The young lady checking me out was new and her manager was helpful and kind towards me. However, their kids section is lacking so terribly. Most sizes weren't even available. The boys section wasn't even this full rack in my photo. Pretty disappointed in the selection. I would like more toddler and youth clothing option, but will try different locations for that in the future. read more

Hands down the BEST TJMaxx in the Hillsborough & Pasco areas. This is THE store for 14K earrings & other jewelry priced far below other stores. (I'm a bargain shopper:) The selection at this particular location is almost always excellent. With a metal allergy, I buy only 10k & 14k earrings for myself, & most of what I've purchased is from here. I also stop in to buy the earrings on clearance; there has never been a time when there were none available. (Today I bought two pair priced $16 & $22 to give as gifts, FAR below what they'd be priced anywhere else.) **At times 14k diamond jewelry has been available, but not today. I'd phone ahead before heading over, if that's what you're seeking** The staffers here are VERY friendly. Management must train well because everyone goes out of his/her way to greet customers & offer assistance. (The tall, vivacious, blonde former military woman who works the jewelry counter is a phenomenal individual-- so friendly & helpful. She makes me laugh upon each visit.) The store is always clean & well organized. If you're looking for clearance home decor, walk in & head to the back right corner. The clearance sleepware is close by to it. The clothing sections take up the middle area of the store; the clearance racks are mixed in. Currently, Christmas-theme gifts are back center. I really don't care to shop in stores when shopping can be accomplished easily & quickly online; however, it's always nice to get great deals on quality earrings & be treated extremely well in the process. TJ Maxx in the grove is a once a week stop for me. I always go immediately to the home decor/snacks section, then the pet treats and toys, then I'll check out the clothes. They do a very good job at trying to keep the store organized even on busy days. Cashiers have always been very friendly as well. read more

I went to return on item my wife had bought. when I walked in I was asked if this was a return? when I said it was I was then informed they do not do returns on Mondays. I decided to leave, but then asked for a manager. When she finally arrived it seemed to be a big joke that an employee said that. As I continued to speak with the manager I was interrupted several times by the employee who told me about the return. so in my opinion, if you are a male this store does not want to help you. I went to TJ MAXX at 6035 Wesley Grove Blvd, Wesley Chapel, FL 33544 last night on Thursday 2/4/2021 at approximately 8:15 pm. Upon check out there were several people walking around behind the checkout counter and there was only one cashier open which she was doing returns as the other cashier was counting her drawer. There were a couple of people in line behind me, after roughly 10 minutes of waiting I walked out. I had about $100 worth of items in my cart. TJ Maxx lost $100 because they can't properly staff their cashiers. read more

It's a nice place to shop around until you have to buy your items. I got some items from the makeup area and was trying to purchase them. They were priced quite low for the brand (I'm quite familiar with makeup brands). Each of that specific item of that brand were all priced the same so I grabbed one and went in line to check out. I get there and the cashier told me that I must have switch the tags and that the item was clearly more expensive. I couldn't believe she would accuse me of switching the tags and at that point I was started to get upset but i didn't let it show on my face. I have never switched prices in my life and wouldn't even dream of doing that to begin with. I told her that there were others of that same item priced the same and even had another store associate go check on the item to back up my claim. The associate confirmed that I was correct but the cashier still wouldn't sell me the item at the price that was marked.She then claimed that the manager told her to markup the item. I had other items in my cart and still purchased them but left the item I was accused of price switching. Never in my life had I been so embarrassed over something I did not do. Others in line saw and honestly will leave the store if that cashier is at the register when I come to this store (if I ever come to this tj maxx location ) again. I'm sorry that I have to leave this store such low stars as the other employees (except that one cashier) were wonderful. read more

I like shopping at T J Maxx for their variety of merchandise. If you want shoes they have them, if you want T-shirts they have them, if you want jewelry they have it, if you want pots and pans they have them, or if you are just looking for luggage it's there. Today, I was looking for shoes but did not find exactly what I was looking for. I didn't have a lot of time to spend but I do like that I can get in and out very quickly. Parking isn't normally a problem, only during the holidays. It's inside The Groves, so there's lots of other options if you can't find what you're looking for which makes it a very convenient location. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because sometimes items can be a little pricey. read more

Prices weren't terribly low, but compared to designer or the original price (which isn't always accurate), it is better. Probably the best markdown was on Stila lipstick and other higher-end cosmetics found at Ulta. The cashier was friendly enough, but I hate when stores have to push their store cards. She wasn't pushy like a lot of other store clerks are, especially once I mention being a follower of Dave Ramsey and not taking out new credit. read more

The older blonde lady in the changing room section was very rude to me because I was sitting on the bench outside the changing rooms to see my wife's outfits. I am normally not a TJ Maxx shopper, but after putting out a call on my social media about where to go for workout clothing, so many of my friends said TJ Maxx so I went. They did have a TON of active wear, but I only walked out with one pair of yoga pants. I think I would have done better if I had the time to go and try things on, but I was pressed for time and didn't want to have to return anything. I will go back and try again! Spent an hour in here and the selection wasn't the greatest. It's usually hit or miss with these type of stores, today was a miss. The dressing rooms are great though, the look really nice and well maintained. The dressing room attendant was also very helpful and nice. If you live around here, maybe stop in every once in a while to see if there's a good bargain to be had. read more

I love TJ Maxx, but sometimes this store has a dirty feel to it. They do have some great deals, but the staff is never very eager to help you if need. There has been a few times that I've been waiting in line and have seen staff members walking behind the counter talking to their co-workers and see a long line, but still walk away or ignore the line.
