Had a chance to visit post holidays and take advantage of some great sales. This is a very large outlet and is very well maintained. As you walk around you will find all of the major retailers and some good food places. I got a chance to stop and rest at one of the many seating areas when my wife went in to shop at her favorites. Came to the outlets to do some back to school shopping hit up a couple stores like Nike, Claire's, etc. it was a hard day, but luckily, most of the businesses were pretty cool inside. For the most part, we got what we needed. The prices are too bad. I think it's worth a trip compared to the regular malls. I also like that they have a pirate playground and seating area for the kids to run around and play at that's covered. read more

I thought the outlets were very nice. I love the outside shopping aspect. The lots were full but it never felt crowded! We drove 45 min to get there but we only purchased one time. It seemed like the same things in the stores in closer to home. I did like the Express store as most of them have closed. We came. We saw. We conquered. But we did not purchase much. This is a gorgeous Aquatic style outdoor shopping experience. It has an atrium like feel which I love, palm trees & fountains everywhere. It's super clean & very nicely laid out. Reminds me of Palm Springs, California. They have all the same great shops here as everywhere else, but this outlet mall is much more clean & stylish. A much better shopping experience all around. I normally loathe shopping malls that are crowded places with horrible parking. Not here. There is tons of great parking always available. It is a pure joy & lovely, relaxing shopping experience here, with tons of parking & is never crowded. I would much rather drive out here than to drive into Tampa. Highest Recommendations. read more

I just moved to the Tampa area and have already visited Tampa Premium Outlets twice back-to-back. I went on a Monday and it was fairly quiet, but the grounds were super clean and every staff member I interacted with around the property was really nice. I also went back on Veterans Day, and of course it was much busier -- plus the new Cheesecake Factory just opened, so that added to the crowd. It was a little too packed for me personally, but I'll definitely be going back on weekdays or non-holiday times. Overall, a great outlet center! read more

We've been here half a dozen times at least, so I was surprised to see that I hadn't done a previous review. We watched the Outlets being built and looked forward to its presence in this area. Since it was first opened, lots of restaurants and other stores have opened in the peripheral areas. There are large parking lots surrounding the stores. And they are usually quite full sometimes, so we have had to circle around until we find an open space. The Outlets are popular with locals as well as tourists. The open-air venue is large with a variety of shops. Many of the stores are designer branded, but there's a little bit of everything. I usually steer towards the Polo Outlet or the Cosmetics Depot. As well as a few other favorite brands. We've been here before and after Christmas as well as during the off season. This most recent visit was the day after Christmas and the shops were quite busy. The most popular store was the Nike Outlet. There was a long line of folks waiting outside to enter that store and a security guard at the door controlling the capacity. I've found some good bargains during the sales here, so yes, I'm sure we'd return. And usually, it's worth the hassle of finding a parking space or waiting in a line to pay. read more

I'll be the first to admit that I enjoy a good Banana Republic store, and I'll pop into J.Crew once in a while. Saks Off 5th can be fun if I'm in the right mood, and Converse is always an easy yes. But outside of those few stops, Tampa Premium Outlets just doesn't do much for me. It's fine and convenient, but it doesn't have that special energy. Nothing compares to the thrill of finding something high end at a lower price point, and that's exactly why the Cabazon Premium Outlets in California still live rent-free in my mind. Cabazon has those luxury brands that feel rare and exciting, the kind you don't find in every outlet mall across the country. I miss that outlet so much. It set the bar in a way that's hard to replicate anywhere outside of major luxury markets like South Florida. read more

There are numerous restaurants in the area if you want to shop and dine. As a premium outlet mall, there are ome unique shops you can hit up andf find some decent deals. What do I dislike? It's outdoors and for some reason this location is humid. So when it's hot out, it's baking here. The traffic in the area has gotten pretty bad. As a premium outlet mall, prices aren't always as cheap as you would hope they would be, There are a lot of choices when it comes to shopping and Tampa Premium Outlet can fill your needs. This a great place with excellent deals at many of the premier stores, Nike, Converse. There's also restaurants very close as well as a food court right on site. Plenty of restrooms as well as parking. There is everything you could be looking for here. And the facilities are well taken care of and there's a fountain in the courtyard. Conveniently located right off the exit from I75 and I275. My only complaint is doing the holidays it gets extremely busy and I would recommend traffic management at that time. read more

I actually visited this in 2016, but never wrote a review. I returned recently. The mall is open air and quite spacious. It is quite clean with some covered spaces to sit. It is nicely decorated in Xmas. The stores include many shoe stores, clothing, a food court, and other miscellaneous businesses. My mom and I went to look for shoes. I found a pair of Nike Air Monarchs for $50 (1/2 off Amazons price). Obviously, prices/sales can fluctuate and that was probably due to it being Xmas season. The Skechers store here is actually a little smaller than the one on Linebaugh/Dale Mabry. We bought some fudge from Rocky Mountain Factory which was very nice and rich. We walked by a Hyppo stand for popsicles. If it is the same one from Hyde Park/Ybor, thats pretty cool. I'll be honest and say that there are many high end stores so I may no be the target audience for this mall. The only real negative is that one set of bathrooms was out of order (or the entrance was) and we had to walk around a bit to get to the other one. It was immaculate though. There are many sit down restaurants on the periphery of the mall like BJ Brewhouse , Longhorn, as well as SBux, Chik-fil-A. The parking is plentiful , but I would recommend coming before 12. We easily got a spot at 1030, but when we left at 2, it was wall to wall cars. read more

This outlet mall is actually aesthetically appealing to me. The large fountain area is so Florida. I also liked the large Christmas tree which was strategically placed nearby. There are many places to sit. There are some interesting juice and smoothie bars that would make to be very relaxing day shopping. I was also super happy with the ceviche at their newest Peruvian Japanese fusion hut. The food options seem better here than at Ellenton. Now, I didn't get to stay too terribly long. It was cool on the day that I went but I can see how it can be brutally hot in the summer. It's that way at any outlet mall in Florida. I don't think I've ever been to an indoor one, but air conditioning would be an advantage. Maybe a mixture of indoor and outdoor would be nice. I did see the same stores that Ellenton has and some that I don't get to see often like Vera Bradley. The sales at that store weren't that great. You can probably shop some of the online outlet stores and get the same deal. Sometimes you just have to physically see it and get a feel for it before making that purchase. That's how it was for me that day. Oh, and the stores appear to be pet friendly. That's a plus for those who like to shop with their pets. I'm actually looking forward to going back again. I absolutely love that there is an outlets 15 min from my house. I remember when they first built this and was pleasantly excited to not have to drive all the way to Orlando. I will first say that it is not as big as other outlets but nonetheless it has a variety of the staple "outlet" stores. Ample seating around near stores and eating areas. They have the train for the kiddos as well. If you feel like browsing some good deals and walking around on a beautiful day this is your place to go. Always wanted to check this outlet out and today was its call! Honestly i go window shopping a lot n do always enjoy myself in these types of outlets. New to outlets? They are hit n miss. Most of them are open floor plan n tend to have little shade from the sun. This one in the other hand has many shaded areas n plenty of places to sit down. But the point for these plans are to encourage people to come right inside! The stores are very welcoming, the staff is polite. Some stores may have 1 staff member. They do their beat to cater all guests. I enjoyed how hard these people worked n handled well multiple customers. I didn't deal with being treated differently nor less for not wearing brand named clothes. I was just another customer n that gets its full 5 star rating from me. Im mix with brands, i like coach purses n pretty shoes. My clothes tend to go towards the A&F but only when i go out to restaurants or casino. They have plenty of stores here for all kind of folks, from geek n nerdy hobby stores (no offense given im a big nerd myself love collecting figurines n Yaoi comics). To clothes, perfumes, jewelry and even a Game room for the gentlemen that want to buy a pool table that can be transformed into a dinning room table! Like wow! I want one! What better way to decide who does the dishes!? Lol The food court is tiny but covers plenty of different flavors for everyone. Johnny rockets was getting bombarded so i went with Poke lulu for a boba tea. I dropped the ball n didn't get a poke bowl. Right after i changed my mind the place was nuked! Sigh ill be back! I noticed that in the food court theres outlets with integrated USB sockets for those looking to charge your devices. Hows the wifi in this place? TERRIBLE! Not even a joke. Your phone will not get a signal either. I had to back track a couple times to find a store offering it for free. I did noticed that the outlet has a VIP membership that offers free wifi with it. Im pretty sure this is for the locals though. For you Lexus owners! You're in luck! There's actually a Lexus vehicle owners parking area. Im not even kidding!! That alone gives u an idea what to expect. Despite the high prices in some stores i walked out with 3 perfumes n a boba tea. I am content with my experience n will be back some day. Open and practicing social distancing!! They only have 1 restroom area open and that's in the food court so FYI. Each store is practically cleanliness and social distancing, limiting the number of shoppers in the store at one time, line queues are set up outside the store. They have 1 entrance/exit for some of the stores -- Saks for example, you can only enter from inside the mall, their outside doors from the parking lot are closed. Fitting rooms are closed and all staff in every store we visited has masks and gloves. read more

First, this outlet is not in Tampa, it is in Lutz, which is at least 30 minutes north of the Tampa International Airport. It's about an hour's drive from North Pinellas/Westchase, so not much different than driving to Ellenton. There is also no easy way to get here from the North Pinellas/Westchase area, so for that reason, Ellenton may be a better option (depending on the time of day). Parking here was MUCH easier here (even during the holidays) than at Ellenton, Estero, or the Orlando outlets, but that may be due in part to the pandemic. The outlet mall was very clean overall and looked new. The food court did not have as many options as I was expecting, which was disappointing. There were a few other smaller food stalls spread around the complex, mainly for ice cream, coffee, pretzels, and other snacks. There are several restaurants located around the perimeter of the outlet mall and across the street, so if you are looking for more variety, you may need to get back in your car. There was a good selection of stores at this outlet, the big ones you come to expect at an outlet mall in Florida. It seemed like it was missing some of the more high-end stores, then again there were some empty stores (possibly closed due to the pandemic). Be aware that the outlet's hours are not the same as the store hours - some of the stores close an hour or two earlier. I'm not sure if this is just during the pandemic, but good to note if you are heading out there in the evening. One store was even closed all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays, which was a bit surprising. When it comes to the pandemic, it seems like this outlet has good intentions. There are lots of signs indicating that customers need to wear masks and encouraging social distancing. The dining hall did not seem to have enough space in between tables, and no tables were marked off indicating that customers should not sit there. While walking around it was disappointing to see some customers with their masks on only half-way (noses not covered), and a few with masks off while in the main walkways. There were a few automatic hand sanitizing stations in the walkways, but I think there should be at least twice as many so they are easier to find and access. read more

We really like to go shopping here! It is conveniently local for me. Within the food court there is a Boba tea spot I really enjoy. The shopping here is relaxing/ lots of parking. Overall I do see myself coming back. There are lots of restaurants around the area and lots to do. read more

Looking at this through the eyes of being an almost mother. I love outlets. I think there are some great deals to be had so I do most of my shopping from them. I'm always surprised when people think I have fashion sense - I mainly wear dresses so I don't have to match anything! I much rather spend money on food/experiences than clothes, so outlets are definitely my go-to. In the past, I've been looking for clothes for me, in a nonpregnant state. This time I was on a hunt for maternity clothes and baby clothes. MATERNITY - The only maternity store they have here is Motherhood Maternity. I would say the sales are ok, but not great. While I was there, they were having a buy one denim get one for 1/2 off sale (same deal with leggings/yoga pants). Just for reference, I ended up buying two dresses (Jessica Simpson's brand, they were on clearance. For some reason I've gravitated towards her line during this pregnancy. Maybe it's because it is often on sale?), a pair of jeans, a pair of shorts, four yoga pants, and two workout tank tops. This came out to $350. Best deal ever? Probably not, but it didn't break the bank and I can now wear dresses that don't look so short it's obscene (that baby bump is no joke). BABY CLOTHES - Now this is where there are some really good deals. My kid is set for onesies (ok, not really since I bet I'm going to have to throw out a ton if they get so disgusting I don't want to wash it. Friends have told me horror stories). At Carter's, I could get a set of five onesies for $13. So, of course I got a ton. I definitely think Carter's is the way to go. We started at Gymboree and although I got an adorable bumble bee set of clothes (hat, pants, onesie, jacket, socks, etc.), it was more expensive than the sets at Carter's. Also, while we were there a woman said have you gone to Carter's yet? That's where the real deals are. Thank you, random woman. I am planning to instill my love of outlets to my future children. We will be back once he starts growing out of these onesies! read more

Visited with my friends for a shopping day during the President's Day sales for the first time since moving to the Tampa area. Lots of name brand store that were having sales so it was great timing. One friend now has completed her Christmas 2021 family shopping - but unfortunately I'm not that organized nor do I ship gifts out of state. I mainly shop for myself and my husband, but since we just downsized we don't need very much. Also after living near an outlet mall in St. Augustine I know there's some "sales" that really aren't. But it's nice to see the new Michael Kors and Kate Spade styles, as well as the Carter's outlet for baby/children clothing. read more
