I have been a Valhalla customer/member for 3 years - it has improved my life immensely. The owner, Danielle, and her staff are attentive, detail oriented, and personable. I never liked shopping because I was constantly comparing my body to the way I thought clothes were "supposed" to look on me; I was always overwhelmed and discouraged in big-brand stores, consignment shops, and small boutiques. It turns out I don't hate shopping - I just needed help from people who care about inclusivity and understanding. The clothes and jewelry are priced fairly and organized well. Being a member is worthwhile - I often pop in the day of an event I'm attending and walk out with a perfect outfit catered to my style and comfort. I love this concept. Everything in the store is for sale however they do have a monthly subscription for $39 that allows you 3 to 4 items take home and the option to bring back at any time. How cool is that?! There's a lot of eclectic items and everything is separated into shirts, pants, shoes and accessories. All are gently used and professionally cleaned upon return. I got an awesome pair of Sam Edelman booties for $18. I loved this shopping experience and can't wait to return. read more

My daughter was really looking forward to shopping in this store, but turns out we weren't welcome there. On Sunday afternoon, we walked in shortly behind 2 other female patrons and heard them getting the layout of the store and sales info. We stood in the entrance and No hello nothing, she literally did a side eye and turned her back moving clothes on the rack. we waited and then I stated "We don't spend our hard earned $ where we aren't acknowledged" and walked out. What a supercute shop! They have a very nice selection on vintage dresses and shoes. I grabbed a very nice dress. it's a little big in the waist, but I'm going to have it taken in. Overall, a great selection and everything was very clean. I can't believe I waited so long to come visit this thrift shop! When I walked in I was greeted by the sweetest employee and she informed me of the membership they offer. You pay a flat feel per month and you can borrow up to 3 items at a time. They will clean and press anything you choose to rent out and they also cover any damage. The store is organized very neat. I decided to try on a few items and ended up purchasing 4 of the 8 items I tried on. I will defiantly be back to shop some more! The clothes are reasonably priced and so many styles to choose from. I don't think I do enough things right now to justify a subscription, but will definitely come back to get one when I go back to office life and events. Imagine three awesome roommates with a giant, kickass closet. That's basically Valhalla. Their selection is beautiful, upscale and always changing. And if you let them know what you're shopping for/have planned, they'll point out items in the store (and even pull items from the back) that they think will work well. I also really appreciate that they give their honest opinion of how it looks and fits so you know, when you walk out of the store, you are looking your best. No pushy sales people here, just a bunch of helpful women surrounded by great, well-priced clothes. Also, if you're a professional, I highly recommend the $40/month membership. I was able to cut my closet in half by weaving in the pieces I rented from them each week. I work from home now and the only downside to the new gig is that I no longer have a need for a membership. A true gem of a clothing store. After visting multiple thrift stores and consignment shops, I was feeling like each one was the same. Crappy clothing with no style. This store is NOT that. I walked away with five new pieces (very rare for me) and they are all so unique in style, great quality, and fantastic prices. I was tempted to take them up on the membership offer but passed today - maybe next time I'll commit. But this store is a lifesaver for someone looking to update their closet at a great price! I've been a happy member here for 2 years now! Valhalla sells used clothing and advocates sustainability and ethical consumption. It offers membership options starting at $39/month with which you can borrow 3 items of clothing for as long as you like with unlimited exchanges. So, you can potentially wear something different every day if you exchange your items out regularly. The bulk of the shop is dresses, which I love and wear every day since I'm lazy and only want to have one decision to make each day regarding my clothing. Oftentimes when I show up they already have a few items on hold for me to try on - which usually look great on me! It's a fantastic service. They post outfits on their Instagram regularly, so if you see something you like, you can request they hold it for you. The girl working today was a hoot and also kind - I appreciated her greeting and saying goodbye to each customer. Danielle recommended some pieces and helped me pick out the best ones. I bought a variety of stuff. The second time I went back, I signed up for a membership. $39 monthly and you can rent 3 pieces at a time. Best way to try out new styles and colors before buying them. Was very organized. Items were sorted according to size and style. there was a good clearance deal - buy one get two free. I wasn't in for long but did get a great clearance item (white house black market fitted halter top) for $8. I did not find any other items sadly. Very clean. Items were already washed. Nice fitting rooms with mirrors. The shoes had clear markings with the size on them. I'm leaving the first review! Whoo hoo! I passed this place on my way to an appointment in the Seminole Heights area and had to stop. The "membership" option is listed in the business details so I won't go into that but it's a cool concept if you live nearby or need to rent a nice dress for an occasion. They also have their own laundry in-house so perhaps that's why the place doesn't have the thrift/consignment store "smell" which can be a little off-putting. My sisters strike gold every time they go thrifting but I never have such luck so while this place is more expensive than a thrift store (roughly $6-25 for an item, depending on brand), it's perfect for someone like me who doesn't want to spend hours flipping hanger after hanger. It's a small space but well-curated selection.Everything is well organized by sizes, color and style and (in my opinion), styles are current. I even saw a few pin-up worthy swing and wiggle dresses. The clothes are in good condition and generally better brands (lots of White House / Black Market and I think I only saw two Forever 21 items). The interior is lovely and contemporary. Like an Aeropostale or Urban Outfitters. But the nicest thing is the staff. I was welcomed as soon as I walked in and that's important to me. Brenna in particular was especially helpful. I also appreciated the small touches like a chair in the fitting room so we can sit down while trying on shoes. They've only been open since February and a bit of a drive for me but their monthly "clothing swaps" may be worth driving back for. For $80, I got an express fringe skirt, five shirts/tops, and two pair of shoes. Those cork wedges were the first thing that caught my eye when I walked in and they were MY SIZE! I guess my sisters aren't the only ones that can strike gold shopping :) read more

Love this shop!! I got a membership and have been exchanging my clothes to get new ones every few days. I get to have an infinite closet at my fingertips without the hassle of storing it, plus I get to wear designers that I may not purchase myself. Great quality clothes and all the memberships are open to anyone. And you have the option to purchase the clothes at fair prices. In addition to all that, they will buy some of your clothes as well!
